You Are My Mr Right

Chapter 703: Conveying Feelings

Locking eyes with Elijah, Freya pretended to ponder, “Hmm, I must have been too beautiful, dazzled your eyes, and made you fall deeply in love with me.”

Elijah, “…”

When did she become so shameless?

Freya sighed, holding his face in her hands, “Because of being with you, I’ve become the subject of gossip.”

Elijah smiled, hooking her at the back of her head, lightly kissing her lips, “Being gossiped about means you’re being watched.”NôvelDrama.Org owns © this.

Freya pouted, “I don’t want to be talked about, they smile at me on the surface, and who knows what they say behind my back.”

“I’ll go warn them right now.” Elijah stood up, feigning anger.

“No,” Freya grabbed him, “If you really go, they’ll say I’ve cast a spell on you.”

“No,” Elijah’s deep eyes looked at her, “You’re just blowing pillow talk.”

Freya, “…”

She pushed him, “You’re so annoying.”

Elijah laughed, grabbing her hand, “Come here.”

Freya walked around the desk, following his lead, and naturally sat on his lap.

She wrapped her arms around his neck, cuddling against his shoulder, coquettishly saying, “If you ever hear any gossip about me, don’t pay attention to it, and don’t get angry.”

Elijah indulgently murmured in agreement.

Buzz…

Her phone suddenly vibrated.

She answered the call.

It was Neo calling.

He said the old dean’s funeral was scheduled for the day after tomorrow, and everyone from the institute would be attending.

Neo was calling to inform her because she was also invited.

She acknowledged it and hung up.

Putting down her phone, she said, “The old dean’s matter should be resolved, they’re already planning the funeral.”

If the issue wasn’t resolved, they wouldn’t be burying him so soon.

She looked up at Elijah, “Thank you.”

If it weren’t for Elijah’s help, she wouldn’t know if this matter could be resolved so smoothly.

She leaned on him, rubbing her face against his chest, and looking up at him, she kissed him, “You’re so good to me.”

Elijah lowered his head, meeting her lips, and they entwined, murmuring in response, “Yes, if I’m not good to you, then who am I good to?”

Freya smiled, kissing him more passionately.

As their embrace deepened, the atmosphere grew more heated.

Elijah slightly breathed heavily, his fingers slipping under her clothes, caressing her delicate skin around her waist, “Are you doing this on purpose?”

She couldn’t be intimate with him right now.

Yet here she was, still tempting him!

Was it intentional or not?

Freya left his lips.

She wiped his mouth, brushing over his soft and moist lips, “No.”

It wasn’t intentional.

She just loved him, wanting to kiss him, to convey her feelings through this intimate gesture.

Words alone weren’t enough.

“Am I disturbing you and making it hard for you to concentrate on work?” she asked softly.

Elijah held her waist tightly, “No.”

Standing up, Freya said, “You focus on your work, hurry up and finish, we’ll go back early.”

Elijah replied, “Okay.”

Freya did nothing, feeling bored.

Thinking she would soon resign and stay at home.

Taking care of the household required good cooking skills, with a few signature dishes.

“Is the bookstore nearby?” she asked.

Elijah paused in signing the documents, looking up at her, “Hmm? Want to read something? I’ll have my secretary buy it for you.”

“I’ll go and pick myself,” Freya said.

“Not far,” Elijah replied.

Reaching out her hand to him, she asked for the car keys.

Opening a drawer, Elijah handed her the keys, “If you don’t know the way, use navigation and drive slowly.”

Sweetly, Freya nodded.

Leaving the office, she greeted everyone warmly.

Freya returned the greetings with a smile.

Entering the elevator, the smile on her face slowly faded.
