My wife and I are currently in the room. “Are you sure you won’t eat baby? I can get you food if you want.” I asked him.

“I’m just making sure, later you’ll wake me up because you’re hungry.” I promise.

“You’re so mean to me. Anyway, baby I have something to tell you.” Agatha smiled.

I looked at her. “What is it?”

“Because lately I often feel bad.”

I immediately woke up from lying down because of what she said. “Why don’t you tell me? We should go to the doctor so you can be given medicine.”

“Easy okay? It’s only natural and I went to the doctor already.”

“Without telling me?” I promise.

“Because it was only yesterday, you had a meeting so I didn’t tell you so you don’t have to worry.”

“So what did the doctor say? Has any medicine been prescribed for you?” I ask.

Shesmiled and nodded. “It’s just vitamins.”

My forehead wrinkled. “Why vitamins? You’re healthy and I think you don’t need that.”

“It’s not just for me but for the baby as well.”

I feel like I’m deaf because of what she said, am I hearing right?

“B-baby? You mean?” I stuttered.

She nodded. “Yes baby, I’m pregnant. You will be a daddy!”

“Oh shit!” I quickly got up and hugged her tightly. She was sitting on our mini sofa here in the bedroom.

“I’m so happy now Agatha. Thank you!” I couldn’t help but cry because of what my wife had said. Finally we will have an angel again. This time I will do everything just to take care of them both, I will not allow what happened to our first child to happen again.

“Are you happy? I know the next day you’ll get angry when I have tantrums.” she said while pouting her lips.

“Is that natural right?” I asked her.

“Yes, because women really go through that stage when they are pregnant.”

“I don’t have a problem with that baby, I know it’s not easy to get pregnant. I’ll give you anything you want but I hope it’s not too hard.” I promise.

She nodded at me and smiled. This is one of the best news I ever had.

We were still in the middle of a conversation when suddenly my phone rang and I saw it was Gian who was calling. What else does this fool need? I pressed accept call immediately.

“Hello.”

“Is this Mr. Ethan Hernandez?” question of the female voice on the other line.

My forehead wrinkled. “Yes, why? Why do you have my friend’s phone? Where is he?” I

ask.

“He’s here at **** Hospital because he had an accident. You can just go here Sir.” she said and turned off the call.

“Baby what’s wrong? Who called?” Agatha asked me.

“It’s from the hospital.” my short answer.

“W-what? What happened?”

“It’s Gian, I don’t know yet, the idiot looks drunk. I need to go to him, baby.” I said and stood up.

“Can I come?”

I looked at her. “Baby it’s late already and you need to rest.” I promise.

She snorted. “But I’m not sleepy.”

And because I don’t want her to sulk so I didn’t do anything but to agree. She just put on a jacket and then we left to go to the hospital.

When we got there the doctor immediately pointed out where Gian’s room was. When we entered we found him lying on the hospital bed with a lot of sales.

“What happened fucker?” I asked him.

“Because I didn’t notice the car I encountered so I didn’t immediately avoid it, the driver said he lost his brakes so that’s why.” he answered me.

“How are you now? What did the doctor say?” my wife asked.

“I’m fine Agatha, I just got a lot of scratches and these arms and legs of mine are broken.”

he replied to Agatha.

“Next time, try to be more extra careful, I don’t want to bury a stupid friend!” I growled at him and he just laughed.

Soon the door opened and Maxine entered. “Hey you idiot! What happened to you?” she shouted to Gian that my wife and I laughed. We already know that they already had their closure and they are now just friends.

“Can’t you see or are you just blind?” Gian replied to her.

“I thought you’re already dying.” Maxine said.

“If I die I know you’ll cry.” Gian teased her.

“You are not a loss to the world, it is good to reduce the idiots here.” Maxine said.

We stayed for a few more hours before finally saying goodbye because Agatha needed to rest, they already knew about her pregnancy. Maxine, on the other hand, presented that she would be the only one left here to watch over Gian.

While we were in the car on our way home, we went through the mcdo first because my wife wanted to take out food so I haven’t complained.

“Baby I told Belle what happened.” Agatha told me after we bought food.

“That will definitely worry her baby.” I said.

“I know but she deserves to know too.”

“I hope so baby, we can’t interfere in their decision. Will Belle visit him?” I ask.

“She said she was going to visit Gian.”

“I’m sure she will see Maxine there.”

“Belle already knows that the two of you are just friends. Anyway, baby do you know that she and Gian have already met.”

I looked at my wife. “You mean Belle and Gian?”

“Yep.”

“How?” I asked.

“I don’t know yet, Belle just mentioned it to me and they didn’t have a good meeting before.”

“Just now? So the idiot must have been drunk,” I exclaimed.

Soon we reached the house, my wife went down first and went inside while I parked the car in the garage.
