The Persistent CEO Wants A Baby

“Sir, you’ve been drinking and just sitting here all day. You didn’t even take your calls neither go to the office. And you won’t tell me what’s happening, yunno I’ve been here for years. You can talk to me about anything, and if it’s something secretive, then I assure you it’s safe with me.”

Mr Norman sighs and turn to look at Nanny. Giving her a smile , he waved to her to have a seat opposite him. She obeyed and went to sat.

Since morning, she had seen Mr Norman just sitting in the balcony and staring outside. The food that was brought it by the maids were still untouched. The only thing that has been opened and actually gone half of, was this drink in front of her.

She could’ve taken it away early, but it was alcohol free so she knew that no matter how many glass he takes, he won’t get drunk. She had let him be, but not anymore.

“Is Blossom back?”

“She has been out since yesterday night. I think she’s having a sleepover at her friend’s again”

Mr Norman nods in understanding.

“Well, remember uhm….. During me two years marriage anniversary., Yunno? I kind of went out in line and cheated my wife with my secretary.”

“Yes sir. Your wife find out, but everything was sorted out back then and we never see her again. Which I must say, you did well by not trying to hurt your wife again and gladly, she took in barely a year after!. May her soul rest in peace. Amen.”

“Amen.” Mr Norman muttered and went silent, making the Nanny worried that she has to look at his face trying to figure out what’s wrong.

“Are you Okay? Is… Uhm.. is she back in the picture? You want to get back with her? Hell no! Your daughter will freak out and obviously won’t accept that.”

“Well, it’s not that. Actually, she’s died too.”

“Oh…” She mouthed and didn’t say anything again.

At least she was relieved. She can’t imagine what Blossom’s reaction will be when another member of this family is introduced.

She had gotten used to the fact that it was just her and her father. No third party was needed.

“Then what’s wrong?”

“Turns out , not everything was resolved…. You see, I find out recently that uhm, she was pregnant for me before I broke up with her. I just did my calculations.”

“Well, that’s ridiculous!” Nanny laughs but kept quiet immediately she saw the look in Mr Norman’s face.

“You are serious?” Mr Norman nods.

“Like… You have another child who’s not Blossom?”

“Turns out… Yes, and I have been meeting her almost every single day.”

There was silence until a different voice interrupted them. “Who’s she?”

Mr Norman and the nanny had to turn to look at the door, and when they saw Blossom standing right there at the door staring at them with tears in her eyes, Mr Norman stood up almost immediately.

“How long have you been standing here, darling?” He walk towards her in a hurry.

“Long enough to hear you cheated on Mum before she got pregnant with me, long enough to hear I have a fuckin sibling!!”

“Well darling, relax”

Blossom moved away from her dad and stare at him. “Don’t tell me to calm down! You know how much I have wanted to have a sister, even if it was a brother too. You knew I had a sibling and you never told me! You made me believe I was your only child. How dare you!”

“Blossom. I didn’t know, please. I just find out three months ago and It was a lot for me to take in, I couldn’t even talk about it to myself.”

“Three months? Three freaking months and you kept it away from me!.. well, who’s she?”

Mr Norman remains silent turning to look at the Nanny who just nodded at him. Even she wanted to know who this mysterious daughter is. He had said he sees her almost everyday, perhaps it’s someone they know.

“Blossom. I don’t think you want to know…”

“Who is she!!!? By your reaction, I do know who this person is right?”

Mr Norman nodded. “Well then, tell me who the heck she is!”

Blossom’s voice was extremely high and one could tell just how angry she was.

“Tihana.” He whispered. “Aiden’s wife…. Tihana Turner, is your sister.”

Silence…

Silence….

And another silence…

“What?” Blossom finally said and her voice surprisedly betrayed her and before her father could react, Blossom was on the floor.. unconscious.

“Tihana please calm down. I know this is a lot to take in, but please. Don’t hurt yourself.”

“She’s right. Don’t cry yourself too hard, at least for the sake of our baby.” Aiden tells her.

He have to come over to Diana’s apartment after Diana phones him to come over because she was scared if Tihana’s silence. She had to explain what had happened to him and even Aiden himself, was shocked.

Who could’ve think that Mr Norman ever cheated on his wife? And turns out, something came out if the relationship.

Aiden hated the fact that Tihana had to come out from such family. Actually, his hatred for Blossom had gotten the most part of him and he didn’t want to have anything doing with the family no more.

Perhaps , this was hard to believe.

“So, my father had always been around me and I had no idea!? All this while.. I had cried myself to sleep many times, hoping he’d come to get me some day… How could he turn out to be Mr Norman? Why?!”

“Well.. we can’t answer that. You need to find the answers from him. Just don’t hurt the baby, if you keep crying and being moody, it’ll affect him too.”

“What am I supposed to do? To be happy and act like none of this thing happened!? I have lived 24 years of my life searching for my father.”

“Well you find him!” Diana said, but with the glaring from Tihana, she knew better to add more to what she said.

“Just that he wasn’t who you expected.” She muttered slowly.

“Well… You couldn’t expect anybody. I think you’re more worried about the fact that Blossom is your sister, I mean… Stepsister.”

Aiden was right. Tihana had no issue if Mr Norman being her father. She had issue with Blossom actually being related to her. Tihana just doesn’t know the best way to react.

To be happy that she finally knows who her father is? Or to be sad it wasn’t what she expected.

Well, if she had actually meet a different man who’s her father, he still probably have a children too! What does she expect?
