The Persistent CEO Wants A Baby

Tihana sat at Aiden’s office as she watched him flips files over and over again. She had just work up about twenty minutes ago and it’s actually like the third time she had fall asleep.

“I want to take a walk around. I feel lazy.” She told him, Aiden nodded telling her to take her phone with her just in case of emergency.

Tihana did as she was told and walks out of the office, walking down the hall way slowly with her chips in her hand. She was actually sure if she’s ever going to make it through in the day with eating snacks.

Walking down the hallways, Tihana was already used to the peering eyes of Aiden’s worker. Each person has a thing or two to talk about. They just won’t stop staring. At first, when Tihana’s belly was already noticeable, she had stopped wanting to come out.

Seems she forgot to get herself ready for such attention. It all became worst when the new became a headline.

It hasn’t been up to a year of their marriage and she’s already pregnant? Ofcourse Aiden’s fan were crazy and toxic, or so Tihana describes them.

Making comments that perhaps Tihana wanted to tie Aiden down by getting pregnant for her.

Many had also commented, asking Aiden to get a DNA test on her, to make sure the baby is his.

Isn’t that ridiculous? The baby isn’t yet borne and they’re already asking for confirmation or whatever it is.

It took her some times to get used to the attention she gets from people. And once getting used to it, it never bothers her ever again. On the other hand, she actually loved the attention. Giving people sometime to talk about and seeing the Jealousy in their eyes.

What do they expect?! Aiden is her husband. Their reaction about her marriage was nothing compared to the news of her pregnancy.

The vibration of her phone made her look at the screen. She smiled sweetly as he cheeks turn red in a flash.

“I’ve been gone for only two minutes, I haven’t even made it outside the building.” She told him on the phone chuckling.

“While, I’m just checking to see you don’t give birth on the hallway.”

“I still two months to go. Get that into your head and bye now.” She heard Aiden laugh from the other end as she ends the call.

Her phone started ringing again… She’d thought it was Aiden calling her again but was surprised to see it was Diana.

Tihana was already tired of walking, so she went to sat down before taking the call.

“Diana. I wasn’t expecting your call, how’re you doing?”

There was silence and Diana didn’t reply immediately like she usually does. “I’m good, where are you?”

Tihana didn’t fail to notice the tone of her voice and she could clearly tell that something was wrong. If anyone knows Diana better, it was her. Just by the tone of her voice and the look on her face, she could tell immediately that she was worried, angry , or something happened.

“I’m at Aiden’s company. Are you okay?”

“We need to talk. Can you tell Aiden to drive you to my apartment when he gets off work? And uhm… You’ll be staying over, maybe.”

Tihana raised her brows in worry. “Diana I’m scared. Did anything happen to you?”

“I’m fine. I’ll be expecting towards evening.”

“Alright. I’ll be there.” The call disconnected immediately and that was quite unlike Diana. She couldn’t think about what could’ve possibly been wrong with Diana that will want her over and telling her she needs to sleep over too.

It must be something serious.

Throughout the rest of the day, Tihana’s thought was only on what could’ve possibly gone wrong. Did Wayne hurt her? Did she went through a broke up, but as much as she knows, Wayne and Tihana ain’t a thing.Material © of NôvelDrama.Org.

Tho she could tell both of them are innocently in love with each other.

“You’ve been dull since you came back from your walk. Is everything okay? Was the baby kicking?” Aiden asked shutting his laptop, Tihana looks up at him and gave a wren smile.

“Yeah. Just worried about Diana.”

“What happened with her? Is it about her and Wayne?!”

“No. She uhm… Diana called me some hours ago while I was out, and she sounded strangely.. yunno? Like something really terrible happened and she wanted me to ask you to drop me off at her apartment. Strangely, she told me I’ll be sleeping over and added maybe to it.”

Aiden stare at Tihana for a second and then start clearing his table. “Why didn’t you tell me? I could’ve dropped you or ask one of my workers to do that.”

“Well. I wanted you to finish up with your work, I don’t want to be a disturbance.”

Aiden picks his phone and came to her, placing a kiss on her lips.. Tihana kissed back and moan slowly in his mouth. Aiden disengage.

“Ain’t you the cutest? Come on… I’ll drop you off , you could have tell me earlier.”

Tihana smiles, and stood up. Placing her hand on Aiden’s, they both walked out of the office. Again, they workers have something new to stare and look at.

Another thing to gossip about.

Perhaps quite a lot. Something like, Aiden have been tamed by Tihana. It was actually surprising to them during the first day of Aiden pampering Tihana at work… As much as they know, their boss isn’t someone who treats ladies nicely.

He just doesn’t care at all. Before he got married, he has a really bad record of having to go on a numerous date and break up with them two or three days later. Compensating them for their time with anything they mentions, expect love.

They had expected Blossom Norman to actually be the one next to Aiden, with the way she had paraded herself already Aiden and bragged about him belonging to her… Truly, she was no match to this woman right next to Aiden.

“I’ll come pick you up tomorrow morning.” Aiden gave her a little kiss on her forehead as Tihana just nodded and got off the car. She stood and watched Aiden’s car until it was far gone.

Turning, she made her way into Diana’s Apartment and had meet her sitting on the couch.

“Have you been drinking?” Tihana asked in surprise as she stare at the contents in the table. Diana looks at her and shake her head negatively then wave at her to sit next to her.

“You sounded worried on the phone. What’s wrong?”

Diana didn’t reply, she just brought out that same envelope Mr Norman had handed her earlier and gave it to Tihana who looks at it surprised.

“What’s it? Are you pregnant?”

If it was on a normal Day, Diana could’ve laugh her ass off but she didn’t even react which made Tihana worried as she collects the envelope from her and opened it. Bringing out the paper inside.

For the next couple of minutes, there was absolutely silence. None of them said anything to eachother until Tihana turn to look at Diana.

“It’s a joke right?” She was smiling, hoping it was just the usual prank of Diana’s.

“I wish I was. I thought he was joking too when he gave that file to me.” Diana told her.

“Blossom is your stepsister and Mr Norman is your Father.” Diana said slowly not missing a word.

She couldn’t find the perfect way to tell her about this and she couldn’t even hid it from her. Even tho this wasn’t what she expected and she’s sure Tihana didn’t expect this, but still.. the truth remains there.

“How?… Why!? Why is he my father!?” There was anger in her voice before tears finally ran down her cheeks.

It was a lot to take in.
