Phoenix was standing in the mirror, all dressed up. She was doing the final round-up on her hair when Axiom entered. He too was dressed up. He walked up to her and hugged her from the back, kissing her neck.

” Are you done? ” He asked and Phoenix hummed, keeping the comb she was holding.

” Where are we going, Axion? ” She asked and turned to face him.

” Don’t worry, it’s a surprise ” Axion smiled at her and took her hand.

” Let’s go,” He said and they both left.

Stepping outside the house, a car was already waiting for them. But unlike before, Axion wasn’t the one driving. He was in the back seat with Phoenix.

The ride was a quiet one as Phoenix gazed outside through the window while Axion was busy with a call. The car halted on getting to the airport and Phoenix turned to Axion with widened eyes.

” Why are we at the airport, Axion? ” She demanded.

” Just follow my lead Phoenix. You’d find out soon ” He held her hand as they both stepped out of the car.

They were both led to a private plane that actually belonged to Axion. Phoenix’s jaw dropped in shock. She had almost forgotten that her mate was filthy rich and having a private plane was obvious. Maybe, she was so busy and engrossed with battling Cruella, Melinoe, and Medusa that she totally forgot.

The plane took off. Axion made Phoenix sit on his lap and straddled her on it. She played with her buttons while he patted her hair.

He had planned a vacation for the both of them, alone. He wanted to take Phoenix’s heart off anything that has to do with Medusa or any supernatural stuff and make her enjoy life as a normal being. Besides, she really deserves to go on a break.

” Axion ” Phoenix snapped him out and he looked at her.

” Can you tell me where we’re going now? ” She asked and he sighed.

” You’re just so impatient, aren’t you? ”

” Please ” She grimaced cutely and of course, he couldn’t resist.

” We’re going on a vacation ” He answered.

” Really?! ” Phoenix beamed and he nodded. She chuckled happily, already more than excited. She can’t even remember the last time she took herself out talk more of a vacation to relax her mind.

” Are we going alone? ”

” Yes. On an island, all alone, where we can enjoy ourselves and of course, where I can eat you raw without having anything to interrupt me ” Axion smirked and her face flushed instantly.

” Jerk! ” She snapped hitting him playfully on the chest while he laughed.

” Tell me you don’t enjoy me eating you? ” He grinned and her cheeks reddened even more. He always has a way to make her blush and she loved it.

She chewed on her lips and played with his hair as a naughty question entered her mind.

” Was I your first? ” She asked and Axion raised a brow at her.

” First what? ” He asked and Phoenix stared down shyly. Her cheeks were starting to burn.

” Your first sex ” She mumbled but Axion heard it and his eyes widened in surprise. Did that question just come out from the Phoenix he knew or was there another Phoenix before him?

He chuckled and thought for a while. Of course, she was his first even though he wasn’t in his right sense when they both did it. But then, he wanted to tease her a little bit.

” No ” He answered and Phoenix’s blush died down immediately. She felt a spark of jealousy in her and she looked up at him.

Adjusting on his laps,

” Was she better than me? ” She pouted unhappily and Axion couldn’t hold back his laughter anymore. She was being unknowingly cute and funny.

” A hundred times better ” He replied. Phoenix hissed and stood up from his lap in anger. She can’t believe she is his mate yet he still thinks his ex-girlfriend was better than her.

She made to leave but Axiom grabbed her hand and pulled her back onto his lap. She fell on him and he held her waist, nudging her closer.

” Won’t you try to prove me wrong? ” He kissed her neck tenderly.

” You’ll see, when we get to the island all alone, I will make sure you forget about about your ex and think only about me ” Phoenix bragged and Axion almost died of laughter.

” Really? Are you sure you can stand it? ” He raised a brow at her.

” You can teach me and we can do as long as you want us to ”

” What? ” Axion chuckled in disbelief. Phoenix leaned close to his ear with a naughty grin.

” I’d give you the best sex in your entire life, just wait and see ” She whispered and Axion’s eyes widened in shock.

The plane finally landed at night by the island and Phoenix was already fast asleep in Axion’s arms. He picked her up and carried her into the cabin, laying her gently on the bed.

He left for the bathroom to prepare a bath for her and came back later.

” Phoenix ” He woke her up gently and she slowly opened her eyes.

” Axion ” She called, struggling to keep her eyes open. She was still feeling sleepy.

” Where have you brought me? ” She mumbled and dozed off again.

Axion chuckled and carried her off the bed to the bathroom. He slowly took off her dress, leaving her naked. Completely naked before him, Axion swallowed nothing as his erection poked in his pants.

” Control yourself, Axion ” He groaned, tearing his eyes off her body.

Phoenix finally opened her eyes when she felt a hand massaging her hair gently. She was surprised to see herself in a bathroom with a naked figure before her.

Meanwhile, outside the cabin was a figure covered in a black hoodie, with only his extremely sharp jawline and burning terrifying purple eyes visible, spying on the two.
