“Do you know her location?” Ann demanded and Elena shook her head.

“I can see you’ve been lazy and haven’t been doing anything lately… Are you sure I wouldn’t regret choosing you?”

“You know I’ve been busy with blogs, trying to spread different news about Isabelle… I’m already planning on hinting about her affair with Alessandro” Elena replied and Ann raised her head, confused.

“Her guard? I thought she hated him” Ann replied.

“She once did but now she’s having an affair with him and anywhere you find her, that’s where you’ll find him” Elena replied triumphantly and Ann nodded slowly.

“So right under our nose all these while, this has been going on. She’s such a bitch”

“Yes, a lot has been going on, we had a rift because of him… her relationship with Aurora is on a rocky point and there’s only one person I know who might be closer to her but she’s worthless and a commoner so I don’t have much expectations” Elena replied.

“What exactly do you want from me for your job?” Ann demanded.

“I wanna be the new Isabelle,” Elena dropped.

“What do you mean?” Ann inquired, adjusting on her chair.

“I know your plan is to kill Isabelle, when she’s dead.. I want to be very famous, I wanna take her position and be the best model available. I know you can help me get that” Elena replied.

“I would help you do that if only you help me do one thing.. find her location and within the blink of an eye you would become famous. You would have all the endorsement deals to yourself. Different companies would run after you” Ann swore and Elena nodded.

“I’ll do that before the end of this week. You can just relax and wait for results” Elena promised.

Darrell’s POV

I lowered in my chair, still staring at Elena and Ann. I had come to get a drink and was surprised to see them talking together.

They shook hands and Ann left, I followed her immediately, walking behind her casually, she went to a pay phone and I grabbed the second phone, slipping in a coin and calling a fake line.

“I’ve told her to kill Isabelle.. she’s a gullible fool, she thinks I’ll make her famous… follow her then kill her when you find Isabelle…” I heard Ann whisper and left, running to my car as I saw Elena drive off.

I sped off, racing towards her, I followed her and stopped in front of a large house which she had driven into.

I stepped out, pressed the doorbell and the security guard answered.

“I need to talk to Elena now, tell her it’s urgent and about Isabelle” I replied, panting and he made a call to her immediately.

Within seconds, she hurried out, questions written all over her face.

“I know where Isabelle stays at, she lives in a deserted house, I can take you there now” I replied and she beamed.

“That’s nice, take me there, I’ll pay you any amount you want… let’s go, what are you waiting for?” She bellowed, entering the car and I sped off, smirking.

“It’s been almost an hour now and you’re not close to any abandoned house, where are you taking me to? Wait, how do you know I’m searching for Isabelle?” She demanded rudely and I hissed, ignoring her.

I drove into Thomas’s house and she gasped when she saw Isabelle and Alessandro playing around.

“Get down!” I ordered and she alighted, staring at her with disbelief.

“Why did you bring this demon here?” Alessandro demanded, standing defensively in front of Isabelle.

“She has a little confession for you” I replied, roughly dragging her inside as she screamed and struggled.

“What’s all these Isabelle? Did you send him to kidnap me? What have I done?!” She yelled, curling on the ground, Isabelle was confused.

“What did you tell Ann?” I demanded and her eyes widened, a look of panic crossed her face but was gone immediately.

“Who’s Ann? I didn’t tell her anything” She replied nonchalantly.

“The lady whom you had met a few hours ago, what were you discussing?” I demanded and she shivered, moving back.

“N.. nothing, what I discuss with my friends is none of anybody’s business” She replied and I smiled.

“Don’t make me force the words out of you” I replied viciously holding her neck and she choked, coughing furiously.

“I only talked about my modeling career, what’s your problem!” She yelled and I slapped her, she bit her lips, licking the blood at the side of her lips as tears shimmered in her eyes.

“You talked about something else, it’s best you confess now before I get words out of your mouth” I replied and she clamped her mouth shut, whimpering.

“Darrell let her be!” Isabelle yelled, trying to remove my hand from her neck, her eyes grew wide and her breath was becoming hitched, I released her and she panted, breathing heavily.

“You wanna kill Isabelle so Ann would make you famous” I replied and Isabelle gasped, shaking her head and moving back.

“Not you too Elena, tell me this is a lie” Isabelle muttered and Alessandro held her.

Elena’s face color drained and she panicked, coiling with fear.

“I’m sorry Isabelle, this is all your fault. You’ve been too perfect, always getting what I’ve wanted. I wanted to be the best model but you snatched that away, I wanted Alessandro, you took him too. I’ve wanted so many things that you end up getting eventually without doing too much. Why can’t I be perfect or better than you at just one thing? Why are you always ahead of me? I’ve been jealous of you for years and when Ann approached me to help her destroy your image I thought it was the best way for me to have an upper hand. She wants me to kill you and I’m sorry if that’s my only ticket to becoming famous, I’ll do it” Elena vowed and Isabelle gasped, having a sorrowful look.

“Only that you wouldn’t get famous..”

“What do you mean? She inquired.

“Immediately you kill Isabelle, Ann is going to kill you” I dropped and she turned sharply, her mouth dropping.

“What?”

“You’re a big fool, you would get caught if you kill Isabelle and that’s the end of your life and career” Alessandro emphasized.

“Is this what you want for yourself? Just because of your jealousy, you wanna end your life. You have a great life already that lots of people are envious of, you have everything you want but you choose to ruin it with your jealousy” I scolded, anger and irritation evident in my voice.

Tears rolled down her eyes as she reminisced on her life, wondering how foolish she had been to trust the enemies while keeping safe distances away from potential friends.

She used her hand to cover her face, crying profusely.

“Forgive me please..” She pleaded and Isabelle stepped back, shaking her head.

“Forgive you? If I had died, who would you be asking to forgive you? Can’t y’all just stop being envious of my life? Do you think my life is great and all perfect? Do you know what I’m passing through at the moment? Do you think my smile means I’m always happy?” She demanded, crying profusely and Alessandro held her, patting her shoulder.

“I’m sorry, please forgive me.. I’ll do whatever it takes for you to forgive me please..” Elena pleaded.

“That’s not all, you have a lot of plans with Lilian.. countless things you’re planning in order to ruin Isabelle, how do you plan to change all that?” I inquired and she sighed deeply.

“I think the best thing for you to do is leave and never return.. I mean I want you out of my life permanently..” Isabelle confessed.

“No… Isabelle please, I promise to change.. let’s start all over please.. I know I’m wrong but forgive me please…” She pleaded, crawling towards Isabelle who moved back.

“Darrell, it’s up to you to think of what to do to her” Isabelle muttered.

“I think let’s kill her… I’ll cut her arms one by one and send it to Lilian and Ann..” I teased and she shook her head, screaming and moving back.

“No, don’t do that please” Isabelle mumbled and I chuckled, moving in circles and thinking of what to do.

“You have two options, it’s either you work for us or I kill you and send your body part to whois backing you”
