“I would like the best explanation for this Lana Rhoades?” Sebastian asked as Lana fidgeted, trying to find the right words to say.

“I…i…” Lana stammered in shame, her head down, speechless.

“You what, am so sorry about my daughter’s unruly behavior, she was just being childish, please do forgive her?” Her father Anderson Rhoades stepped forward pleading on his daughter’s behalf.

” You’re sorry, hmmm” Sebastian repeated.

” Well I hold no grudges, but your daughter actually crossed the line today, I mean my wife is off limits, I don’t dare joke with her” continued Sebastian, as Adia couldn’t help but turn crimson red, regardless Sebastian was just acting, he didn’t give a shit about her, he only wanted an heir.

“As former business partners, please consider” Anderson Rhoades pleased again, knowing fully well what Sebastian can do, he knew full well how gruesome he acts, he was a ruthless man, with no heart.

“Thank goodness you said the word former, now we have no alliances whatsoever” Sebastian deadpanned holding Adia tight, as he rendered Anderson Rhoades speechless.

“Well I guess, we’re done here, see you Ms Lana Rhoades” Sebastian said giving both father and daughter a lovely smile, but only Anderson and a few people around knew the real demon behind that smile.

“Good day” he added walking out of the hall, alongside Adia, with Mickelson following behind them.

At the very moment, the person Sebastian was angry at was not only Lana Rhoades but also Adia, who clearly disobeyed his orders.

Mickelson had coincidentally seen what Lana Rhoades was up to, so he informed him about it, thanky to their fast reflexes of being a vampire, they were able to remove the necklace from Adia.

And thankfully it was a mask party, no one will recognize Adia, if they crossed paths with her again, which might not happen for a long time, since he has no plans of letting her out of the house anytime soon.

“Hmm, hmmm” Adia cleared her throat nervously, trying to break the tension, in the car they were currently in, which was driving at a full speed.

“What about Ace and Rowan, I mean your brothers, I haven’t seen them for a while?” Adia asked.

“Busy” came Sebastian’s curt reply.

“Umm, about the ring I..”

“Keep it” Sebastian chimed in.

“I wasn’t talking about that actually, how did you slip it into my fingers, ?” Adia asked curiously, finding it all a mystery, she didn’t even know when she wore her ring, or how the necklace landed back on Lana, who literally planted it on how.

“How would you know, when you were feeling so nervous, but you can keep, take it as a gift from me to you” Sebastian answered.

“But the necklace also, Lana…”

“You said you wanted to talk about something?” Sebastian asked, interrupting her, having no more room for questions.

“Well, I don’t think I can keep on staying indoors” Adia began looking Sebastian in the eyes for the first time.

“What do you mean?”

“You kept me indoors for over a month,” Adia emphasized as Sebastian sighed.

” You’re pregnant” he stated the obvious, he was doing nothing but protecting her from the outside world, all he wanted was to get his enemies off her path, enemies he had everywhere.

She didn’t even she might not see the new year, for the past one month now, him and his brothers together with Rowan and Evans has being trying everything utterly possible to save her, but came up with nothing, they only had to go to the next alternate, to find a witch, which would be a big problem, for a witch has not being spotted for decades, his only Hope now, was that a witch could try a spell to save Adia.

And that was their next mission, to find a witch.

“Not sick, I’m perfectly fine, I demand to be locked no more” Adia requested.

“You’re carrying my child Adia, and I have the final say here, you’re to stay indoors and go nowhere”

” Ace and Arion will be arriving in town tonight, they’ll come keep you company,” Sebastian suggested as Adia glared at him

” They’re men, and that Arion of a brother, geez it’s so suffocating around him” Adia stated as Arion hardly smiled and looked so scary, like an angry god, whose bride left on the pulpit.

“At least Ace is there, it’s fun to be around him”

” You’ve gotta be kidding me” Adia scoffed loudly as Sebastian rested his head, tired of the conversation already, he never intended to speak with her this long.

“Also I need to visit Addison,” she continued.

“I’ll see to that” cane his curt reply as Adia threw him a glare before looking outside the window, it was so obvious he didn’t want to talk to her any longer.

Adia walked into her room angrily slamming the door behind her loudly, who did Sebastian or whatever think he is, he didn’t actually marry her to keep her locked up, did he?

Adia looked outside her window as she sat near, hatching a plan, it was so hard to leave this olay, seeing how tight the security was, but there’s no harm in trying, the only problem now, was Mickelson, who’s always hovering around her, like an obedient puppy.

She needed to leave immediately, it was so suffocating around, the other problem was Cora, who didn’t seem bothered by it,

He’s so annoying, Adia thought, squealing loudly.

“Ma’am, is everything alright in there?” Mickelson asked in concern, hearing her scream.

“Am fine thank you” she quickly replied.

“Do not hesitate to call me if you need something”
