“I find you very funny miss” the handsome stranger teased as Adia bowed her head nervously as she chuckled.

She discovered that the man’s arm was still wrapped around her waist, making their position feel akward, embarrassed to make it obvious, she straightened up herself calmly, releasing her self from his hold,

“I’m Logan Moreau, what about you?” he introduced himself as they both exchanged handshakes.

“I’m Adia peters, nice to meet you ” Adia answered, omitting Seb’s surname, as she opted for hers instead.

Aot of unlookers, had slowly gathered the scene of the accident, as they lamented how lucky Adia was to be saved by Logan Moreau.

Several people were pointing at the car wondering, what might have caused the accident.

The last thing Adia wanted was to blow her cover, she hasn’t even started enjoying this part of the world, if she’s to be taken to the police for a statement, not only will Sebastian be contacted, she’ll also spend a lot of time there, and by then they’ll find out she’s missing, so she immediately turned to Logan for help.

“Mr Logan, do you mind, but I really need to leave this place, I can’t be seen here?” She requested murmuring as the police had already arrived, luckily Logan understood her as he took her away before any would notice.

Adia felt like puking at the sight of blood as she scrunched her face in disgust.

“Hey, Adia are you okay?” A deep voice startled her out of her reverie, she turned to face Logan’s worried face as she realized she’s been staring at the accident scene from too long now.

“Yh…yh…I’m fine, ” Adia stuttered forcing a smile at Logan.

“I’m hust worried if the driver’s gonna be okay” Adia voiced out removing her gaze fully from the scene.

” You don’t need to worry about that, you’re safe, that’s all you need to worry about” Logan said.

” I’ll have to leave now” Adia said standing up on her feet, seeing, she had thirty minutes more to spend.

“Is everything okay?” Logan asked worriedly.

“No, no, it’s just that I live far from here, I don’t want to be caught in traffic, you know” Adia responded chuckling nervously.

“Ok but at least let me have your number?” Logan requested as Adia gave him her contact, he was her saviour and she couldn’t tell him no, infact she owned him.

Logan watched as Adia saved his name on her phone, he couldn’t help but smile, as he had taken a liking to her, it turns out she was pregnant, because his ears was not failing when he held her closer earlier, he could clearly hear her heartbeats, turns out she’s taken, but he didn’t care, she’s not wearing a ring afterall.

All he cared about, was that he has taken a liking to the young lady, and he must have her.

“Where do you live, I can drop you?” He offered with a polite smile.

“Oh please, you’ve helped me alot, save your strength, I’ll take it from here” Adia chuckled refusing his offer, the last thing she wanted was a male asking over her.

“Come on I insist” Logan insisted as they walked out of the coffee shop, he was beginning to like the woman beside him, everything about her was mesmerizing, especially her smile.

He returned to the country to take care of someone, but it seems like he found something else to fill his intrigue for the time being.

“Ok” Adia hesitated, hatching a plan in her mind, because, he can never find out where she lives.

“Then hop in” Logan gestured titling his head as Adia obliged.

Adia was now regretting why she obliged, she could have just politely refused, even if he saved her earlier, but rejecting him seemed inappropriate, she thought as she gave him an address.

” It was nice meeting you too”

” I’ll see you some other time, just have it in mind that you owe me, three dinners” Logan informed as he hit the road.

Adia watched silently as his black Bentley continental drove away, from the look of things, he was also rich and well doing too.

“Oh my” Adia gasped, realizing she has taken too much time as she boarded a taxi to go home, it was actually a seven minutes ride from where she was.

Adia sneaked swiftly as she slided into her room, without being noticed, luckily, no one was around to spot her.

She inhaled in relief, closing the door behind her, today has been quite an eventful day for her, as she narrowly escaped death, if not for the kind gesture of Logan Moreau, the handsome friend she just made, and owed three dinners.

She slipped into the bathroom to get a quick shower, looking at the time, she discovered it was already six, time for dinner, any moment from now Samantha will come knocking.

Just as she predicted, about six minutes later, a loud knock came as she quickly straightened up herself.

“Come in” she said as the door clicked open.

“Monique” she called as a girl walked in, but to her dismay, this one was a brunette haired girl, the one earlier was blonde.

“Actually it’s Monica, Monique’s twin, ma’am, I’m filling the place of my mother” she informed, as Adia took a quick glance at her, this one looked innocent, compared to Monique, with fair skin and a little cute face.

“Ok,”

“It’s time for dinner” she continued as Adia nodded.

“I’ll be behind you”

“How was your trip to the outside world?” She added as Adia froze on her spot, pointing at her in shock.
