“I can’t breathe” Adia choked out,

” Could you at least loosen me up a bit” she added, thankfully Sebastian obliged, as he loosened his grip on her waist.

“Thank you” Adia muttered, feeling the peering eyes of people on her, she wasn’t surprised by this, knowing Sebastian and his good looks, most of his female employees will definitely have a crush on him, even the males that are gays.

“Your workers like to stare a lot, why?” She asked in hushed tones, as they headed to the elevator.

“Cause I’m handsome” he smirked.

“My feet, look they’re obviously blind” Adia scoffed loudly.

“Not my problem, or you think I don’t notice the way you spare glances at me”

“I was just curious that’s all”

“Curious about what?” Sebastian asked, his right brow raised up.

“How you could be so wicked”

“I’m sure there’s another word for wicked, please you can that, wicked sounds dumb” Sebastian responded.

” Oh please, I can’t believe i’m gonna be spending up the seven hours of my time with you in the same office” Adia complained bitterly, stating the obvious.

” You can get busy with something or better still take a nap ” he answered as they both made their way into the elevator.

All the employees who witnessed the little show that just happened this morning was totally dumbfounded. Not only did their cold boss walk in with a woman, the fact that he held her raised up a state of confusion.

Though they’re aware of his password dating life, they knew it was nothing like this, Sebastian never really gave a damn to the past women, his relationships never lasted, and he’s never held a woman at such close proximity, not one they’ve seen or heard of.

And also, he took her into his elevator, only him, Rowan and a few people are allowed to get into that elevator, not even his ex girlfriends, and usually take the usual elevator meant for everyone, but now in their presence he took a woman in.

Curiosity was bubbling up within them, especially the Ladies, who held one obsession or the other, they were all curious about the identify of that mysterious woman, who’s Managed to tame the heart of their cold boss, that’s if something like that ever happened in the first place, Maybe she might be someone special, some thought, while some couldn’t wait to get their hands on Adia and tear her apart.

“Laura will be the one training you, she’ll help you adapt quickly, and you’ll help her around here” Sebastian informed as Adia nodded her head slowly as she waved at Laura, who looked as if a huge burden had been taken off her shoulders.

“I have to go now, I’ll be leaving you with Laura, you can come into my office when you’re ready” he added Bolting away from the scene.

“Here, have this, it contains all the company’s rules, I don’t know if you’ll need it, since you’re, you know” Laura chuckled sheepishly, as Adia collected the file from her.

“Please I don’t want things to be awkward between us because of that, and the fact that no one around knows I’m married to Sebastian is fine by me” Adia said going through the files.

” I must confess you guys made quite a scene earlier, I mean everyone’s talking about the mysterious woman”

” Yeah, I Know but Sebastian warned me clearly not to leave this floor and from the look of things, I guess he’s very strict around here” Adia uttered, reading the rules was enough for her to know that shit was not tolerated here, people get sacks over any little mistake.

” You can say that again, and you’re lucky the boss kept you on his floor, of course he would cause you’re his wife, everyone fears him and no one comes up here except on important matters’ ‘ Laura whispered.

” Then how do you cope being a secretary to the scary boss” Adia mimicked as they both laughed it off.

“Trust me, working with Sebastian is one of the best things that has happened to me, no strings attached though, but he picked me up from the streets and here I am today” Laura said, reminiscing on those days, the worst period of her life, until Sebastian came around.

“Then I’ll say you’re very lucky then”

“Very” Laura deadpanned.

” I’ll be back in a jiffy, I need to speak with the boss, ” Adia said in sarcasm as they both giggled loudly.

Walking towards Sebastian’s office, Adia took a look around it, this is not the first time that she has visited this place, she remembers coming here when Addison was sick to accept his proposal.

Back then she was petite, calm and innocent, that was four months ago, now she’s changed so much that even she can’t explain, she got into the spacious office and saw Sebastian already seated there working, he looked so good looking.

Sitting on a chair opposite his, Adia took her time to access the office well this time, it was extremely large and spacious, shelves were aligning the walls of the office with books neatly arranged on it.

Most of the books on the shelves didn’t look work related, instead they looked kind of ancient.

“I didn’t know you loved reading a lot” Adia commented, as Sebastian’s gaze met hers.

“What do you want?” He asked as Adia puffed air out from her lungs loudly.Contentt bel0ngs to N0ve/lDrâ/ma.O(r)g!

“Another favor” she answered.

“As always, speak”

“I want to stay with Laura” she began as Sebastian’s gaze never left hers, he kept staring intently at her.

“I mean I prefer to sit with her, that way I can learn more about the things around, I can’t do that in here” she said, his presence woy just be too overbearing, and concentration would be a major problem for her.

“Do what you want” he snapped, the last thing on his mind now is argue with him, at least not here.

“Ok thanks, also we haven’t talked about my pay”

“You’ll be paid three million dollars monthly” he informed wondering what she even needed money for, but it’ll be best if she saves up, because he’s gonna let her go once she survives the pregnancy.

” Thanks!!” Adia exclaimed happily, Three million dollars is such a huge sum of money to her, more than enough to take care of Addison, if she’ll be receiving that monthly.

” I wanted to borrow some books also”

” We have a study at home, you can do that there” he responded.

” Ok then, I’ll probably scoot away now”

” Definitely, and Also, mind the way you gossip about the boss, I have ears everywhere” he said with the same sarcasm that Adia used to speak to Laura as Adia froze,

What bloody way did he use to hear their conversation, cause he obviously did? Adia couldn’t help but ask herself in horror.
