Adia sat beside Laura, who read out a few basics to her about the company.

“Don’t worry I’m gonna make sure you enjoy your stay here” Laura said to her as Adia giggled.

“Actually when’s your company’s lunch break?” She asked.

“We have the first break by twelve and the other by two” Laura answered

“Why are you asking?”

“Well I was planning to eat outside” Adia replied as Laura nodded, actually Adia had a planned carefully laid out on her mind, she still haven’t forgotten the words she said to Sebastian and to fulfill that, a lot of things had to be done, because Sebastian seemed impenetrable.

“Does Sebastian eat out?” Adia asked, from her observation, since she’s been living with him for three months and two weeks now, she’s never seen him eating anything fooo, asides from drinking coffee.

“Not at all, he prefers eating in his office, he loves his privacy you know” Laura chuckled as she laid out a few files.

” Who gets him his lunch?”

” I usually do that”

” Then I’ll save you the stress today, leave that to me” Adia said as Laura nodded slowly,

” Thanks, you’re a lifesaver” Laura flashed a smile at Adia who returned to what she was busy with.

Laura couldn’t help but keep shaking her head, Sebastian hates human food, as long as she can remember he doesn’t take them.

She was just eighteen when she met him and he turned her, now she has being working for him, for ten years now, and these past ten years had being the best years for a person who suffered from trauma like her.

Not all vampires enjoy eating human food, as it does nothing or whatsoever to them, it supplements doesn’t add any advantage to vampires as the only thing they need is blood to live, though it’s not all vampires that live with human blood as a supplement, especially the tuned vampires.

“I’ll get going now” Adia said getting up from the chair as she made her way to strode into Sebastian’s office, since he insisted she stayed in there.

Adia walked in, closing the door behind her, as she took her seat, he was busy with work and didn’t even spare a glance at her as usual.

“Let’s go out for lunch” she began

“Busy” came the short and concise reply from him.

“I insist”

“Busy” he said again, making Adia shoot deadly glares at him.

“You know you owe me a favor” Adia added.

“You have to fulfill that favor you know, nevermind, just cane up with something” Adia said, she’s being working on how to gain his attention and spend more time with hm, at least to melt his Cold heart, but she only came up with one idea.

“What’s that?” He asked, he already knew where all this was driving to, he immediately regretted promising her that, but he couldn’t go back in his words could he, he never breaks his promises.

“Here” she said handing a paper to him, immediately she got to his table.

“What the bloody hell is this?” Sebastian asked scanning his eyes through tge paper, as his face scrunched up in disgust.

“A contract”

“What fucking contract?” He asked angrily, through gritted teeth.

“A contract that states that party A must do whatever party B says for a week” she stated smiling triumphantly.

“Meaning?” He asked with eyebrows raised up.

“Dummy, you’re gonna do whatever I say, for a month starting now, as you’re gonna sign this to seal the contract” she explained, as Sebastian pupils shrank the moment she called him a dummy, how dare her?

Adia waited patiently for him to raise his head back up, she knew it was in his power to reject her offer, seeing he can do whatever he wants, but he’ll be nothing but a snitch and coward yo do that, and it’ll will be bad if he refuses to agree with her terms.

Adia prayed silently awaiting for his approval, luckily for her he grabbed a pen immediately he raised his head, scribbling on the space meant for signing, before throwing the paper at Adia, who cared less.

“Scram” he muttered, Adia could sense his anger from where she stood but it affected her less, she already got what she wanted.

“You didn’t read it though” she said wanting to get on his nerves only to receive a hard glare from him.

” Our deal starts today” she began as he looked up at her with a hard look yet again.

“I basically told you to read the terms first” she muttered innocently, as he gave out a frustrated grin, truly he was tired of her nonstop talking.

“What do you want?”

“Let’s go out for lunch” Adia requested, after a long reign of silence, he responded,

“thirty minutes” he said hastily, standing up from his chair, his large body towering above Adia who felt intimidated by his presence.

“I’ll grab my purse” she said rushing to her chair, as she grabbed her purse.

The door sprang open as Laura turned to see Sebastian and Adia coming out from the office.

“Do you need anything sir?” She asked standing up respectably.

“I’ll be out for a few minutes”

” Ok sir, if I may asked where are you off to?” Laura Asked knowing Sebastian was not the type to easily leave his office, either he was not in there or he was in there.

“Lunch” cane his calm reply.

“Ok sir, lunch!!!!” Laura yelled loudly in exclamation, eyes wide with horror.

“See you” he added as he walked away with Adia beside him, as she tried to keep up with him.

Laura kept staring at Sebastian’s fading silhouette in disbelief, why was he going out for lunch?

She actually thought Adia was bluffing earlier, maybe he truly loves this one, but why a weak human and if her ears were not failing her, she could clearly hear heartbeats from Adia.

No, no, she can’t be pregnant, Laura shook her head in disbelief returning to her work.
