Sebastian dropped Adia gently on the ground as they stopped in front of a cell, rounded by iron bars, the strong stench of rusty iron present in the air.
“What’s this place?” Adia asked, looking into the cell as she caught sight something bound in chains, from her level of experience, the thing had a silhouette of a human and is definitely a human being, but can’t be a human, because whatever that was, look pale and dead, like a corpse and that’s when it occurred to her that she was living with vampires and that thing might actually be Mickelson, since Arion mentioned that Sebastian had left him dessicated.
” It’s Mickelson,” he answered, opening the cell, which made a loud creaking ear deafening sound.
Walking into the cell Adia stood beside Sebastian scared at the sight before, she really felt like throwing her lungs up, not only did the place stink of rusted iron, it was also damn, with drop of water falling at some places, the sight of Mickelson didn’t help either, it looked as if she was coming face to face with a corpse.
“Is he still alive?” She asked Sebastian, because right at this moment, one could mistake him for a dead man, and he was bound in strong and heavy chains like a criminal.
“Mickelson…” Adia called moving closer to touch him, but a voice spoke out, startling her as she rushed back to hold Sebastian who was just standing still.
“I’d advise you not to do that” the voice said as Ace and Arion came into picture.
“What are you doing here?” Sebastian asked with a growl present in his voice,
“No need to get angry, I know, you knew that we were right behind you” Arion said,
“Yes, abd why make sister-in-law stress herself that much, you could have just carried her, throughout the whole journey” Ace stated meaningfully,
” And I find it very skeptical to believe that you…”
” Quiet…” Sebastian’s voice thundered, stopping them from saying whatever was going to come out from that mouth of theirs.
He already knows what they’re going to sprout and he was definitely not in the right mood to hear that.
” Why can’t I touch him? He’s still alive,” Adia asked, stepping into the picture.
” I can’t believe your husband was just offering you as a sacrificial meal to a vampire that has be denied blood for close to a month, can’t you see how pale he looks, if he gets a hold of you he’s only gonna suck you dry, so move backwards and stick close to your husband” Arion snapped squatting in front of Mickelson, raising his head up by his chin.
” So what are you gonna do about him?” Adia questioned, she’s so worried about his state.
” Feed him” came Ace’s reply.
“With what?”
“Seriously Adia, what serves as a vampire supplement?” Arion asked, shaking his head at her as he broke one of the chains around Mickelson’s wrist, doing the same to the other as Mickelson’s body fell lifelessly on the floor as Adia held Sebastian who had been quiet the whole time very tight.
“Why did you let him lose, there’s a human here and you just let a starved vampire out?” Ace asked, pointing at Mickelson dessicated body.
“He’s too weak to even lift a finger, she’s safe” Arion responded,
” Why don’t you feed him blood or can I offer him mine?” Adia suddenly asked as every turned to look at her with a very disapproving look including Sebastian,
What is she thinking, offering herself up?, They all asked themselves, to them it was not love or care or whatever, it was foolishness, once Mickelson sinks his fangs into Adia she’s gone, he’s gonna suck her dry till her last breath, not only that Sebastian would never allow anyone sink their fang into her just as he clearly warned them all never to compel her.
” You can’t Adia, he drink from you till you die” Ace responded,
” Them feed him with yours, aren’t vampires allowed to drink from other vampires?” She asked as they all shook their heads negatively.
Actually twilight vampires could drink from any other vampires, but the turned vampire couldn’t, just the same way twilight vampires can feed their blood to other turned vampires, but a twilight vampire can never feed from a fellow twilight vampire.
As the creators of all other vampires, they were certain rules they needed to adhere to.
“The Smell of your blood is actually torturing him now, it’s just the fact that he’s desiccated and weak that’s restraining him, so you have to be very cautious around vampires, they usually go mad once the perceive the smell of blood” Ace explained to Adia.
” But Sebastian has never bitten me, and I’ve gotten injured in front of him on several occasions, even in front of you guys” Adia said, when Kate slit her wrist she didn’t bite her and Kate’s a vampire, Evans is a doctor and a vampire also, Sebastian too on the day of her birthday when she mistakenly cut herself, he didn’t even drink from her.
“Because we have a higher tolerance, we’re twilight vampires and have more resistance to blood unlike the rest” Ace explained,
“What’s a twilight vampire?” Adia asked curiously,

” That’s because they’re vegetarians, they don’t survive on blood, making them weak, they’re no less than you humans, enough of all the questions, we’re not holding a vampire question and answer session here” Arion chimed in interrupting Adia.
” I’m taking him out now” Arion announced picking Mickelson up in a swift move and the next second he was out of the place already.
” Catch ya outside” Ace said dashing away as well leaving just Adia and Sebastian in there.
” Why did you do that to him, he’s one of your trusted guards?” Adia asked Sebastian,
” You trust no one Adia, not even yourself” he uttered, picking her up as he carried her in a bridal style dashing out of the cell as well.
