Adia stood in bewilderment, everything was just happening so fast and In a day who would have thought that Eloise was a witch and that her sisters also lived here in britaris.
“Leave me alone, Esmee..” Eloise painstakingly said, she didn’t want to live britaris She liked it here.
“You don’t have a choice here little sis, and don’t think of trying to save Adia, you’ll only die if you perform the spell alone, you’ll all die, you, Adia, and the babies..” Esmee pointed out sarcastically.
“Then you both are going to perform the spell with her….” Arion chimed in as Esmee burst into a loud laugh.
“Don’t be ridiculous, that would only happen in your wildest dreams..” she laughed,
“I hate vampires to the core that I wouldn’t even think of saving one…” she added with a note of finality, there’s no way she’ll ever help them.
“Well you’ll have to do it, that’s of you want to leave this place alive…” he threatened,
“Excuse me…” Esmee scoffed,
“Try me, and don’t even think of uttering any spell here..” he warned,
“Your threats don’t work on me, vampire…”
“Eloise let’s leave this place, you have nothing to do with people like them…” she voiced out,
“Elise why are you quiet, say something, this place is suffocating…”
“I don’t want to go Esmee, try and understand…”
“Understand what?” Esmee snapped,
“You and I know that trying to save her is like pouring water on a rock, or didn’t you tell them?” She squinted her eyes at Eloise, as everyone turned to face her.
“Oh you didn’t tell them..” she chuckled,
“I’ll do you guys the honor then…”
“The truth is that Adia is not the one dying..” she announced as everyone stilled, wondering what the blabbermouth witch might be talking about.
“You guys had no idea right?” She questioned in a mocking tone, as she laughed out loud.
“Let me spell it out again, Adia’s not dying, the children are, well she’s also going to die at the end by the way, you’re going to lose all of them both the mother and the….” Before she could finish her statement, Sebastian had already sped to where Esmee stood, he wrapped his hands around her neck and he pinned her against the wall.
“One more word from you, and I promise that you’ll lose your tongue…” he threatened in a menacing tone and his eyes blazed with anger.
“The truth is bitter, vampire…” Esmee managed to say as she struggled with Sebastian’s hold.
“Let her go..”Elise tried stepping in..
“Not a step from you, or you’ll lose a sister…” Arion chimed in as Elise stilled,
“I’m not going to take anything likely with you if any of my family members gets hurt, don’t dare me..” she said In a cold voice.
“Please let my sister go..” Eloise pleaded,
“What she’s saying is true..”
“Adia babies are dying..” she stammered, as Sebastian released his grip from Esmee.
“What did you say?” He turned to face her.
“Don’t look at my sister that way, vampire…” Esmee said, struggling with her breath, as Elise rushed to hold her.
“Esmee are you alright?”
“Yeah, I’m fine..” she coughed,
“You vampires all act mighty and domineering, but you always fail to use your brains..” she began with sneer,
“All you know is to sink your fangs into people’s throats, and sick life out of them..” Esmee mocked,
“You always fail to use your heads..” she laughed,

“But she’s not a witch, why?” She asked meaningfully, creasing her brows.
“And then another mystery, she looks like your ex, Aisling, why?” Esmee asked again in a meaningful tone.
“Then the last one..”
“Her blood is fatal to vampires, and that’s the most important fact here..” she smiled in sarcasm.
“If Adia’s blood kills vampires, what about the babies in her womb? They’re also vampires aren’t they?, Think knuckleheads, think…” she concluded breathlessly, as everyone pursed their lips.
What she said actually made a little sense,
“So you are trying to say that Adia’s babies have been dying from the start?” Questioned Sebastian,
“Exactly…”
“And that’s because they fed from her, so her blood is indirectly killing them?”
“True..” replied Esmee, nodding her head.
“Bloody hell…” Sebastian cursed, punching the nearby wall which left a hole there, that’s why the heartbeats were becoming faint, he has failed to reason that far.
“Seb…” Adia called as her voice wavered,
“Is she telling the truth?” She spluttered,
“Yes…” came his curt reply, and Adia shoulders fell, she couldn’t believe her ears, everything’s happening so fast, and lots of things are unfolding before her eyes, who would have thought that her babies were dying all this while, and that no one is going to come out alive, her only hope now are the witches, and Esmee doesn’t even look like someone who would ever agree to help.
“And why are you so certain of what you’re saying?” Arion questioned, she’s been talking as if she’s lived with them for a very long time.
“How do you know all these things about Adia?” He asked again, he hated her confidence to the core, amongst all the La Fey’s sisters, Esmee was the most annoying of them all, and he really wanted to snap her neck in two.
“Because I know…”came her nonchalant reply,
“I know everything, even before you even knew, you know why?” She raised a brow at them.
“Because I made it so?” She said slyly, wearing an interesting look on her face.
