Adia stood in front of a mirror as she arranged her hair, the day for Logan’s validation has finally arrived, she’s been praying that everything turns out well.

She was so deep in her thoughts that she didn’t notice Sebastian walk in.

“What are you thinking about?” His voice rang in her ears, as she turned instantly to face him.

“You’re here..” she exclaimed,

“Hmm, hmm, what were you thinking about?” He asked again, as he held her both hands.

“Nothing serious, I was just thinking about Logan, I just hope today’s judgement is on his favor…” she lied,

“You shouldn’t worry about anything Adia, but just Incase, nothing is going to happen to Logan, I’ll make sure if that..” he promised her,

“I hope so..” she exhaled deeply,

“Look Eugene, there’s nothing to talk about, we all know it’s against the rules to kill a vampire, and that scoundrel over there, murdered me daughter, so waste no more time and pass the judgement of his execution..” he blabbed as Adia stared at him, he must be a very hard one to deal with.

“You’ve spoiled your daughter so much, that you’re blinded by the things she did..” Celeste spat,

“What did you say?” Elias snapped at Adia, his eyes blazing saddles, as he bared his fangs at her.

“I didn’t mean to be rude at all because I know I’m supposed to respect all of you here, as the elders you are, but I think sir, you’re acting a little bit too much, you’ve been taking non-stop since we all came here, and it’s all unreasonable…” she concluded, holding Sebastian’s hands tight, in fear that he might attack her.

“What did you just say?” Elias asked charging at Adia.

“Enough Elias, you don’t threaten a woman like that, look at her condition, show some respect at least, it’s not as if she’s wrong..” Naomie defended,

“Speaking about what brings us here, I think you should let Logan go..” Naomie voiced out.

“We all know Kate and Aisling we’re best of friends, abd how Aisling was with Sebastian at that time, and that Kate loves Sebastian so much, or rather was blindly obsessed with me, that aside, I have proof that your daughter Kate killed Aisling..” she revealed, but none of the elders looked shocked, they already knew what she was capable of.

“Me too I have proof that Kate killed Aisling..” Celeste chimed in, she has being able to gather proof for the past few days.

“And how does that amount to this?” Elias questioned,

“The issue of Aisling does not concern the issue of now, you should have brought that up the moment you lost your daughter..” he spat scornfully,

“What has happened has happened Elias, but I cannot allow make a mistake, what Logan did was out of self defense..” Celeste began,

“Apparently killing, Aisling was not enough for Kate, then she proceeded to try and kill Adia, not just Adia, the future heirs of Huntersville, she took one life and tried taking three lives again..”

“Logan just did what he did to save Adia, and trust me I would have done same, if I were in his shoes, your daughter tried killing a pregnant woman, not once but thrice, we a already know what Adia’s situation is at the moment, but your darling Kate wanted to add more problems as there already is..” she said, calling the name Kate with utter scarcam.

“The first time she kidnapped Adia, and tried killing her using all sorts of different methods, then she kidnapped her yet again, and poisoned her along with her unborn babies, so tell me my fellow elders, does that kind of person deserve to live?” Celeste asked,

“I’ve said all I can say, and I have solid proof with me, the only we can do is for us to vote, whatever the results are, we abide by it..” she concluded, taking her seat.

“And I say Logan lives, since he has never being a threat..”

“Me too, Logan lives..” Naomie supported as she turned to face her husband.
