Eve’s POV

“Yeah, we are dating. Eve is my girlfriend” He told them.

I looked at him and bit my lips slowlt then I turned my glance at my friends.. who seemed like they were scared of him yet they nodded their heads in a weird way.

“So let’s the rest of them in the office know that it’s no rumour, it’s true. Eve and I are together” Liam added as he intertwined his arms with mine.

“And yes we went out together yesterday and didn’t return to the office. It’s same thing we are gonna do now” He said.

“What?” I looked at him.

“We are going out” He said and winked at me.

“Where? I’m not even ready. My meal …”

“You’ll see” He cut me off as he stood up and made me stand on my feet too.

“Okay so bye guys. The office is in your care okay?” He said authoritatively even when they didn’t still say a word.

“Sorry Guys” I turned and told them yet they smiled in a weird way and gestured me to leave with Liam.

“You are kind of close with George” Liam said when we entered his car that was packed in front of the restaurant.

I scoffed; “Same intimacy with Maria, Daisy and literally everyone in the office. Three of them just happen to be my closest friends” I said to him.

“Nah” He shook his head. “George’s own is different”

“What, are you jealous Liam?” I asked chuckling.

“What? Jealous? Not at all, Me?” He said as he began to drive.

“It’s so cute to see you jealous” I said lightly pinching his pretend frowning face then he eventually smiled.

“Just so you know, that’s how to let people know that we are a thing. No more hiding” He said.

“Okay” I rolled my eyes. ” So, where are we going to?” I asked him.

“Why? Because I didn’t let you enjoy your lunch?”

“Well… you are definitely gonna compensate me for that”

“Cinema”

“Cinema Liam? There’s office, there’s work, there’s…” I exclaimed but he interrupted.

“But I am a movie person. I’m clingy too when I’m in love”He said but I giggled shaking my head.. “I’m also thinking of when and where to go to have our first official date? And what do I buy for you, I really do not know your best taste yet” He said.

“That’s because I’m not choosey at all. Oh my God Liam, did you say we haven’t had our first official date? What about yesterday and we are going out again today?” I said.

“It’s not an official date” He pronounced one by one as he gave me a quick peck then focus on where he was driving to.

“Is that Dad?” We spotted Mr Maya and Janet’s Mom in his Car.

Liam quickily packed his car opposite but behind them.

“Is his office nearby? Jeez Liam why did we come here?”

“No, none of his companies are around here. I… I am surprised as you are. That’s Mrs Pitts too”

“Yeah” I said as I looked at them.. “Are they this close?”

“Yeah business close but this doesn’t look business related. I think they are more. But why am I surprised, my dad is a big time flirt” Liam said.

“I don’t think Mrs Pitts is, she has a good husband and family. I don’t really know her because she doesn’t like me but I don’t think she could be Mr Maya’s slut or something. She is wealthy enough to take care of herself” I told him.

“Okay. Let’s say it’s just close friends and business stuff. Hold on Eve, hid a bit… I won’t let him see us” Liam said as he started the engine and drove passed them immediately.

“Speaking of Mrs Pitts, I spoke with Janet yesterday” Liam said.

“I know right. But she was the who called me first, I was surprised too”

“And?” I folded my arms and asked him.

“She says she has spoken with me and we are acquainted now. I don’t know what exactly she meant though because I never called her first. I guess her mom gave her my number just because I asked for hers” Liam said.

“And…?” I repeated.

“And what? C’mon that’s all” He replied.

“Janet’s weird. I mean I spoke with her yesterday and she doesn’t really seemed happy to hear from me” I said to Liam.

“Why’s that?””

“I don’t know but I don’t wanna think that she’s not happy to hear from me. She’s probably stressed out or something. I’ll try to reach her again” I said.. although I felt like something is wrong somewhere, Why was Janet saying ‘sorry’? Maybe she’s hates the fact that she let me be with an old man . Oops! I just wanted to let her know that I’m doing fine.. then we’ll gist about alot of things like we usually do.

We got to the Cinema, we didn’t only get popcorns but some snacks and softdrinks then we headed into the movie room.

Feels like Holiday not work day at all. So I sat next to him with our hands intertwined and my head on his shoulder. He fed while we were watching a movies and Everytime a kissing scenes shows up. Liam will kiss my forehead. I felt like everyone was concentrating more on our lovey-dovey rather than the movie. Awwn, Liam is so sweet and he makes me feels like he loves me more than I do.

“Let’s go home” He announced when we were done with the movie.

“No, no” I’m not coming to your place Liam not just yet” I told him.

“Hmmn, that doesn’t sound pretty cool though. Well, I’ll drive you home” He offered.

“That one is fine” I replied, holding his hand first.

He packed his car where we were only few distance away from the Mansion gate.

“Here” He pouted his lips and closed his eyes.

“Come on Liam” I said and he opened his eyes and sighed.

“Oops. Feels like a hide and seek relationship” He said.

“I’m sorry but I enjoyed each moment with you” I said.

“I love you Eve” He said.

“Same here” I replied and he shook his head in negation.

I chuckled and said; “I love you too” I responded.

“Roger that” I said showing him the ‘OKAY’ sign then I watch him drive off.
