Getting to their mansion, I was wowed at the beauty and designs, Maynard’s Dad surely have a good taste.

“This is beautiful”I mumbled and Mrs. Alvarez chuckled.

“Thank you, I designed it myself”

“Wow, You surely have a good taste when it comes to designing houses”

“Awwn, thank you”She said softly before rubbing the cream on my legs.

I’m now in Maynard’s room, It’s so spacious and look expensive, Almost everything is in blue.

Of course, Blue is Maynard favorite colour.

“I’m sure he will be surprised to see you here”she said with a chuckle and I nodded.

“Of course, All thanks to my stubborn swollen legs”I grumbled.

“You’re lucky, When I took in for the first time, I almost died, Anxiety and panic attack most of the times, There are weeks that I won’t eat, Maynard took a big toll on me”

“I’m sorry about that”I said softly and she laughed again.

“Sorry for what?, It’s surely a good experience, I’m happy I went through that stage to have my boy”She dropped the small jar on the table and made me lay on the bed.

“You should sleep, I will call you once it’s time for lunch, Ava will go get some drugs for you in the city”

“Sure, Thanks so much”I mumbled.

I didn’t wake up till night, This is the longest nap I’ve ever taken, I felt so refreshed and strong, My legs were normal already. I stepped down the dinning, The whole family is eating already.

“Hey, You should have called me to bring your food upstairs”Maynard’s mom exclaimed immediately and I smiled.

“I’m fine, I need to exercise the legs so It won’t get swollen again”

“Alright, come down and have your meal”She urged me softly, I walked up to her and sit beside them.

Unfortunately, They were eating rice and beef soup while I craved for noodles.

I frowned immediately.

“You don’t want?, I can tell the maids to prepare any food you want”

“I want noodles but my taste bud changed already so I won’t be satisfied if they prepare the food for me, Can you permit me to use the kitchen?, I promise I won’t touch the expensive things there”

“Oh, Please, You’re free to use anything, There are chickens, Beef, Frozen fish, And every other thing you needed there”

“I will go with you”Ava said immediately and dropped her cutleries, I noticed she didn’t really like the food but of course, she have no other choice than to eat it.

“Ava”Her mom called sternly and I chuckled.

“It’s fine, We can prepare it together”

“Make sure you don’t stress yourself”Mr. Alvarez warned and I nodded immediately.

MAYNARD POV

I’ve been trying to rich Magnolia’s number but it’s not going through.

“Still not reachable?”Mateo asked dropping his suitcase in his car, Ready to go home.

“Yeah”I mutttered under my breath

I hope she’s fine.

“She will be fine, I need to go home or else, Fleur will strangle the life out of my body”He joked and i chuckled.

“Wait, how did you end up with that crazy woman?, I got scared when she came to my office the other day, I had to act up”

“She’s not like that, She’s a sweet soul, I like her”

“I see”I scoffed before walking to my car.

“Bye”He waved at me, I nodded immediately before sliding into the car.

Getting home, They were eating already, Mom was smiling mischievously and I got confused.

“Mom, I’m home” I announced, Gabriel drop his cutleries and ran to me.

“My baby”I cooed and he smiled.

“How was your day?”I asked softly and he nodded.

“It was fine, Dad took me to the company and different places, An Aunty with a big stomach came here, She’s so beautiful and Mom treats her like a baby”Gabriel reported, Mom grabbed her from me and glared at him.

“What’s happening?”I asked in surprise and she scoffed.

“I have a surprise for you, Go to the kitchen, I’m sure you will love it”

“Food?, I’m not hungry”

“If you’re not surprised enough when you get to the kitchen, I will pay you $5000, But if you love the surprise, You will pay me $10000”

“I will pay you $30000″I countered, She beamed immediately and nodded.

“You’re gambling now?”Dad asked taking a big bite from his drumstick and I chuckled before walking to the kitchen.

Mere staring at her back view in my shirt, I recognized her immediately.

“Magnolia?!”I called in surprise and she turned to me.

Her eyes sparkled and ran to me.

“Hey”I laughed and hugged her carefully.

“I thought you’re coming tomorrow?”She asked in surprise and kissed me passionately.

It’s all done already, After we ate, We left the remnants for Ava and leave for the bedroom.

After a while, She slept off, I quickly took my bath and realized I’ve some missed calls already, It’s Mateo.

“Hey”I said lowly and he sighed.

“There’s a problem, Have you checked the internet?”

“I’m not a social media person and you know that”I rolled my eyes.

“Your pictures with Magnolia got leaked, You were with her this morning, You guys were kissing”

“And what’s the issue with that?”

“Nothing, I just want to tell you to get prepared because the shareholders requested for am urgent meeting tomorrow”
