Chapter 261 : Something Owed
Chapter 261 : Something Owed
The night was getting colder but the temperature inside the room was intensely hot.
The tension was unbearable. With Bill Sky, Arabella could not find her calm.
Him without saying any word was the most dangerous of all.
His unfathomable eyes were pierced into hers like he was already torturing her on his mind.
There was fire...
Intense fire in his eyes...
Her instinct was telling her to quickly run.
'Run now!'
'Save yourself now!'
'If you stay here, you will die!'
'Run now, Arabella... Run now!'
With the surging tension, she pulled herself together and turned around to go back to her room as she
could not pass Bill Sky to head on the main door without being caught but that was she thought.
When she was already inside, before she could close the door in her room, Bill pushed the door
forcefully in a flash and entered her room.
Then he locked the door.
In a small close space, the two were standing in front of each other with more intense tension
circulating the air.
Only Bill's furious eyes were talking while Arabella was in a mess.
She had no escape now.
'This is it!'
'He's going to choke me like what happened in my dream.'
'He's going to kill me.'
Arabella's mind was in a panic.
She could feel her body trembling in fright.
She was not afraid to die but she didn't want to for Adam.
She could not die without seeing her son again.
"Go away, Bill Sky! This isn't your house. Leave me alone!" Arabella roared.
She already knew exactly why Bill Sky is in her apartment.
Her dream was like a sign giving her a warning about her current situation.
Bill was here to kill her because she lost his child.
'If you lost my baby, I'm gonna kill you with my own hands.'
His words kept on bugging like a boomerang in her mind.
She was close to death but she would not submit herself to the hands of Bill Sky. Definitely not him...
But how could she pacify him?
How could she tell him about the truth?
She didn't want to put Eric in danger as she believed that what happened was merely an accident.
Eric put himself to blame.
She believed that Eric was just guilty for the accident because he was the last person that she touched
before she fell.
She didn't feel him pushing her only the force from snatching his arm.
Obviously, Eric was putting himself to blame because every accident should have someone to take
responsibility for.
With that, Arabella had no plan to involve Eric's name for her salvation.
"Bill Sky, you know that you are trespassing right? This isn't your place where you can stay whenever
you wanted. This is my place. And I'm the owner so go out now before I will call the...." Before she
could finish her words, Bill Sky grabbed her two shoulders and pinned her on the wall forcefully.
Her back was very painful as the concrete wall smashed her body.
His grip was very strong that could break her bone if he would not stop.
"Bill... if you... if you kill me... do it fast.." She stuttered but she managed to finish her sentence feeling
the tingling pain from his hands clawing her shoulders.
Bill looked at her dangerously. Arabella met his eyes.
"Who said about killing you?" His words were the simplest yet carried the most dangerous threat.
Terrified by his words, she looked at him with a shocking doubtful expression.
Those words coming from Bill Sky were not just a threat but it was considered to be done.
Bill's grip tightened and the pain got more extreme.
"Ahhhh!" She roared.
Bill was clearly tormenting her slowly.
This wasn't the one in her dream but she felt worst.
"Who said about killing you, Arabella Jones?" This time, his tone was calm but Arabella could not get
any sober.
Bill suddenly dragged her and tossed her on the bed forcefully.
"You! What are you doing?" Arabella screamed while struggling to get up but her back was in pain.
Even though she struggled hard to get up from the bed but her action wasn't that swift.
The only thing that was working right now was her determination to escape.
She was trembling, her body was in intense pain and her heart was racing fast but she had no time to
waste.
She had to get out from there or she would die.
"Arabella, why do you always have to provoke me?" Standing in front of her, Bill uttered seriously.
His furious eyes never left her.
She was scared... really scared but at this time, she should be tough. Tougher than what he thought.
Her mind was getting ready for him but her body wasn't.
The pain in her body made her slow. Slower than she thought.
"F*ck you, Bill Sky!" She roared with all her fury.
It was not her first time dealing with him but she still didn't know how to handle him.
She still didn't know how to make him go away.
Until now, she was still in a multi limbo on how to remove Bill Sky from her life.
"Stop! Don't come here or I will kill you." She yelled with her eyeballs bulging with intense anger.
She made up her mind to fight with him about whatever he wanted to do with her.
It was her place.
No one should bully her.
Despite all the effort of screaming and struggling, Bill was unaffected. Instead, he smirked mockingly.
"Relax... I'm not gonna kill you." He even smiled charmingly. That kind of smile that could capture
someone's heart in an instant. Without any effort at all.
But for Arabella, it was not charming at all.
She saw him as the evilest person in the world.
She would never be deceived by his handsome look.
If all women wanted him, Arabella cursed him.
If there's one person, she hated the most, it's Bill Sky.
If there's one person she hated to see, it was him.
"I'm here to get what I owned," Bill stated calmly.
Arabella was in a panic. She didn't know what to do.
Never in this lifetime, had she understood him.
His actions, his words, his eyes were all unfathomable.
She could not anticipate what was in his mind but she just have to get ready with everything.
"You are crazy!" She shouted furiously. Trying to wrack her brain, she still couldn't understand what he
meant.
With mocking eyes, Bill smiled but not a pleasurable one.
He strode closer to her. She panicked as she positioned her body to kick him when he would force her
again.
Bill seemed to already know what she was thinking.
He stopped before he could touch the bed.
"Here's the thing Arabella..." Bill's tone was nice but she could sense danger. His kind of tones never
made her calm.
"You lost that baby..." He continued with a nice tone but the tension inside the room was getting more
intense.
With all focus, Arabella looked at him waiting for his final words.
For her, she had to be ready for what he wanted from her.
Trying hard to stop her trembling, Arabella was very attentive to his demand.
Bill was standing handsomely folding his arms up his chest.
"You owe me one child." With a deep hoarse voice, Bill announced like a powerful king.
After hearing Bill, Arabella held the pillow and threw it to him.
Then she laughed softly.
She couldn't believe what she heard.
Bill was like making a joke but remembering that the man in front of her had no joke in his dictionary.
She struggled to get out the bed but Bill pushed her hard.
"It's not time yet. I'll come back." Bill said with his stern eyes pierced into her.
Then he left her.
Just like that.
He left her in peace but for Arabella, peace was never present in her life ever since she met him.
'You owe me one child.'
'I will come back.'
Bill's words kept on bugging her mind.
She didn't know what to do.
The place seemed not safe for her anymore but she had nowhere to go where Adam could easily find
her. \
She had to stay for her son.
Days passed, and Arabella was living on her own.
She found her contentment because Bill Sky didn't show up in her place anymore.
Eric was very considerate to respect her request.
It had been 3 weeks since she left his house.
One morning, she was surprised by two visitors.
"Mommy! Mommy!" Ivan was shouting in full of excitement.
Arabella was stunned but she was very happy to see him.
She missed Ivan a lot. Eric stood still handsomely. His expression looked very pleased with her
presence.
Ivan gave her a bouquet and a box of cake. She held Ivan's shoulder then she kissed his forehead.
Then Arabella hugged him tight.
"Mommy, do you miss me?" With full of enthusiasm, Ivan asked proudly.
"Badly... I missed you so much." She replied lovingly while hugging the little one.
Ivan was very happy. When Arabella left, he was very lonely as he felt abandoned. That was the only
thing he wanted to hear from her.
Ivan hugged her tightly.
"Mommy, when are you coming back home?" Ivan asked full of excitement.
Arabella's smile had stiffened. She looked at Eric first then she smiled at Ivan trying her best to hide the
tension circulating in the air.
"Baby, mommy will come back soon with brother Adam. Okay?" She answered Ivan lovingly.
Along with her words, she was determined and hopeful to be with Adam again.
"Okay... that's enough for now." Eric quickly butted in. "We have to go now, buddy." Eric messed up
Ivan's hair then the smart kid quickly gave him a thumbs up.
"Mommy, I will visit you again." He excitedly exclaimed then hugged her again before he held his
uncle's hand.
The tension between her and Eric was unspoken yet it was obvious that they had something going on.
"Brother, can I talk to you for a moment?" Before Ivan and Eric could reach the door, Arabella called
out.
Eric stopped and turned around to her. He put Ivan on the sofa and Arabella led Eric to the balcony.
"Something bothering you?" Eric asked worriedly.
"Brother... I think we have to talk about our divorce." Arabella said seriously with eyes full of
determination.
The intention was not to tie Eric with her. He had to be happy with Rosy and have a real family of his
own.
Eric was taken aback. He looked at Arabella with a very disheartened expression.
It was Ivan's urging why they went there.
He wanted to see her so bad but Eric was afraid that she would tackle the divorce with him.
Despite this, he agreed to visit her with Ivan's promise in return that he would listen and follow him.
Good thing, Ivan obeyed.
"Is it because of Bill Sky? I saw him leave your apartment nearly dawn" Eric's voice was calm but
carried a deep sadness.
Hearing Eric, she felt shame as she blushed. How did Eric know?
Ever since she left, Eric was always outside her apartment every night.
He was looking at the light in her room then he left after seeing her lights were already off.
Though he promised to respect her decision of living alone, Eric could still control herself feeling
worried about Arabella.
Even though he was tired from the whole day of working, he didn't skip parking his car outside her
apartment.
That night, he saw Bill Sky left with his men.
He wanted to confront him but he was in a hurry. This is property © NôvelDrama.Org.
Knowing Bill Sky, in just one snap of his fingers, his men would be the ones to greet him.
With what happened, Eric had to put his anger on Bill Sky.
He knew the time would come that they would cross each other’s path.
If that time comes, he promised that he would be the man standing.
For now, he had to get Arabella first. He had to bring her back to his side. He promised Bill could not
touch her again with or without his presence.
"Brother Eric, it's not what you think... he.." Arabella didn't want Eric to get her wrong but he was cut by
him.
"I'm sorry. You don't need to explain." Eric smiled at her trying to lighten up the current situation.
Obviously, she didn't want her to feel uneasy with him.
Then a deafening silence invaded the air.
"Arabella, can you not give me another chance? Can you give us another chance?" Eric uttered
sincerely.
Arabella looked at him.
Their eyes met.
She didn't know what to say.
Eric was serious.
His sincerity was screaming all over him.
"Arabella... don't answer me yet. Please." Eric heaved a deep sigh. ”Here.” Eric got out something from
his pocket.
She looked at it quickly and was shocked by what she saw.
