You Can Run But You Can't Hide My Contractual Wife

Chapter 259: Unfinished Mission

Chapter 259: Unfinished Mission

When Bill Sky kidnapped his wife, Eric was not only humiliated as a person but as a man.

He was like kicked and thumped hard on the ground so many times and was spit after in front of all the

people in the world.

No man could accept it but for his love for Arabella, he had to swallow the bitter pill.

When he knew that Arabella met Bill Sky, he was bursting with intense fury.

It made him go mad.

If they only met that time, he probably got Bill Sky killed.

Not even a single soul could blame him.

Bill Sky deserved to die for what he had done to his wife.

Not even that, he got her pregnant.

With all of these, Eric got so disappointed and got paranoid about not seeing Bill in the venue due to an

unfinished mission.

Irking with the situation, he merely lost his sanity.

He almost hit a baby. Good thing, Arabella saved him.

She saved a baby but the saddest thing, she lost her own baby.

Because of him, Arabella lost her baby.

"Eric... brother... please calm down." Arabella tried to stop him from chasing and scolding Rosy.

His intense anger that was supposed for Bill Sky landed on Rosy.

That time, Eric was totally out of control.

He was already out of his mind.

When Arabella tried to stop him, his eyes landed on her belly.

There, Bill Sky's mocking face flashed in front of him.

He was laughing at him insultingly.

Bill Sky was humiliating him.

He couldn't control himself.

He wanted him to go away.

Forcefully, he pushed her while he snatched his arm.

When he saw Arabella on the ground with blood flowing on the ground, Eric immediately regretted

everything.

He was lost for a moment and became spiritless.

For Arabella, it was all coincidence.

No one should be blamed for what happened to her falling down the stair.

She wanted to be positive about everything.

Maybe her baby was meant to be an angel to watch her and Adam from above.

Standing behind Eric and Rosy, she heard everything.

She was supposed to sleep but she could not find any so she decided to get a book from Eric's study

room.

To her surprise, the lights were still open and the door was slightly unlatched.

She went inside smoothly.

"I pushed her..." Those words made her halt.

At that time, she felt the whole weight of the world was on her.

She was like crashed by a huge wild wave in the ocean unable to find her balance and direction.

Why?

That was the big question in her mind.

She looked up to him as her big brother.

Her savior.

How could he do such a hideous thing?

Why brother Eric?

His mind was a mess.

She felt betrayed by the situation.

The heaviness in her heart was just too much for her to handle as she ran quickly to her room with

tears uncontrollably coming out.

Eric's confession shocked her a lot.

She didn't want to believe him but there was something in her urging his explanation.

At that time, Eric was very angry but it didn't give him the right to kill her child.

Her heart was crushed thinking about it.

My baby...

My big brother...

Why?

When Eric woke up the next morning, his head was heavy.

He quickly ordered the cook to prepare him a hot soup to ditch his hangover.

When he was about to jump from his bed, he stopped.

Eric smiled as he was delighted to see the woman inside his room.

"Good morning. What brings you here?" Eric asked with his smile never leaving his face.

Seeing her there every morning is one of his desires.

The sight of her in his room made him sober.

Arabella didn't sleep last night.

Who could sleep after knowing what really happened?

Last night, she wanted to pack her things and leave Eric's house but she felt it wasn't right.

If she leaves without hearing him, that would just be a big waste.

She couldn't find her peace of mind wherever she goes.

She had to know the truth.

She had to hear the truth straight from Eric's mouth.

"Why, brother?" Finally, she asked the question that made her awake the whole night.

Her disheartened eyes were meeting Eric and her tone was the saddest.

From Arabella's look, Eric was alarmed.

He was dumbfounded by her expression.

Her determined eyes were seriously pierced to his.

From her stare, Eric knew there must be a big problem.

"Arabella, what are you talking about?" He asked quickly sensing the intensity of the problem.

Arabella stood up and strode closer to Eric.

He met her halfway.

Then after a deafening tension, a hard crispy slap sound echoed inside the room.

Arabella hit Eric with the raging intensity she felt towards him.

Eric was taken aback.

Then without her announcing the reason, Eric suddenly held her hands and he knelt on the ground.

His head was dropped and his shoulders heaved up and down repeatedly.

“I’m very sorry, Arabella….” Eric was holding her hands with a trembling body.

It was obvious that he was already crying in front of her.

Eric Grant was crying.

Even a man who cried was not so normal to see for her.

“I am very sorry… I was not in my proper mind at that time.” He continued apologizing along with his

sobbing.

How could he lose the woman he loved the most because of his stupid mistake?

He was out of his mind.

He was just human after all.

He had also emotions that could trigger in his every living.

Seeing Eric so pitiful, she could not hate him so much.

She knew in her heart that he was very sorry for the sin he committed because of his anger but she

also knew that she could not continue living in his house.

Her heart broke thinking about Ivan.

Ivan would surely suffer. He would surely miss her a lot and likewise, she too would be alone

separating from Ivan.

“Brother, I forgive you.” Along with her words, her tears came out from the corners of her eyes but she

quickly snatched her hands from his grasp.

“But I can’t live here anymore.” She muttered with a heavy heart.

She was not just angry with Eric but with the situation.

How could her life be like a rollercoaster?

She had Eric and Ivan for a while after losing Adam and now, she would lose them.

In her heart, she loved Eric and Ivan as her family. Forever, they would stay in her heart.

“Please… Arabella… Please, give me a chance. I’m sorry… Please don’t go. Don’t leave me. Don’t

leave Ivan… Don’t leave us… I’m begging you.” Eric remained kneeling while he looked up at her

pleading and eyes full of tears. Eric would never let go of her.

He would do anything to make her stay but Arabella’s expression was telling him to back out.

She was determined to go.

It pained him so much.

It made his heart shattered into pieces.

“Please… Arabella, I’m willing to do anything. Just stay with us. I love you. Ivan loves you. We love

you.” Eric was very successful in closing million dollars deals every day but at this time, he seemed to

be at the losing end.

He held her hands again and put them on his cheeks.

Arabella could feel her wet skin due to his warm tears.

Then she realized that a man who cries is not weak but a strong one.

She saw Eric had mustered all his courage to beg her and asked for her apology.

How could she be angry with him that far?

“I have to go.” She had to go away or she was afraid not to do it at all.

She just went there to seek the truth of everything she heard last night.

Fortunately, Eric was a man enough to confess his sin without her bugging him.

She saw his guilt was eating her up.

Eric wanted to release it.

He blamed himself for Natalia’s loss but when she realized the situation on the stair, she believed that

Eric didn’t really intend to push her.

She was there and the force that made her fall was merely coming from his strength while he was

snatching his arm away from her.

On the other hand, Eric seemed to blame himself for what happened to her.

It all mixed up as it was too sudden and he concluded of pushing her.

Whatever it is, she had to go away from Eric’s house to think.

She wanted to be alone for a little while.

Just maybe she could find the peace she had been longing for.

She had to prepare herself to see Adam again in the future as she knew they would meet again each

other soon.

As for Natalia, she would remain forever inside her heart.

When she finished her words, Arabella snatched her hands and turned around leaving Eric in his

kneeling position.

Carrying her luggage, she strode quickly to the main door when someone stopped her.

“Mommy! Don’t leave me.” Ivan approached her and hugged her tightly.

He had no plan to let Arabella go.

“Please, mom” Ivan was very determined too to make her stay. His round eyes were teary and soon he

was crying already.

Seeing and hearing Ivan’s voice, Arabella was broken-hearted again.

Her heart was so heavy that all she could breathe was deep sadness.

“Baby, listen… I will see you again. Okay? I will never leave you. I promise.” Arabella hugged Ivan tight

too. Her tears came down so fast.

“My real mom also promised me that, but she never come back!” With a very disappointed voice, Ivan

muttered.

That was her mom’s tagline for him but her mom together with his dad died in a car accident. They left

him alone and broken.

“Baby, Ivan… Listen to me. I love you. No matter what… no matter when… I will come and see you.

Okay?” She wanted Ivan to understand her purpose in leaving.

She would be back if she was healed for him.

She promised that but Ivan was afraid of pain.

He was afraid to lose someone.

He was afraid to be abandoned.

“No mommy. Please don’t leave me. Please don’t leave me. Stay with me please.” Ivan was wailing as

his grip on Arabella tightened.

He had no plan to listen and he had no plan to let go of her.

“Ivan! Enough!” Eric’s voice suddenly sounded with a firm tone.

“No uncle. I don’t want to let go of mommy because she is going to leave us. She‘s going to leave me.

No Uncle! No!” Ivan was like a stubborn kid and a hardheaded one different from the muted Ivan

before.

Blame that on what happened to his parents.

His coping mechanism wasn’t that good.

Suddenly, Ivan’s body was lifted into the air. Eric forcefully took Ivan away from Arabella.

“No uncle! No! Mommy! Please don’t leave me! Mommy! Please…. Please…” Ivan was crying out loud

while he was struggling on Eric’s chest.

Arabella looked at Eric who helped her and looked at Ivan with full of sympathy.

“I’m sorry baby… I’m very sorry…” That was the only statement she could mutter at that time along with

her broken heart.

Ivan’s crying voice and begging made her want to stay but her will was to find herself.

She would definitely come back for Ivan.

“Mommy! Mommy! Mommy!” She could still hear Ivan’s cries calling her but she had to toughen her

heart.

She strode directly in the direction where Rosy’s car was waiting for her.

She was afraid that if she would turn around, she might not have the courage to leave them anymore.

It was her last day living in Eric’s house. She was very sad too.

Earlier, she had talked to Rosy about her plan. At first, Rosy opposed it for the sake of Ivan but

eventually, she understood.

Today, she would help her settle back into her old apartment.

She chose to go back there so if ever Adam would look for her, she was sure Adam would come to her

old apartment.

As for Rosy, she canceled her flight to help Arabella.

They had caused so much for her to suffer. One canceled flight was nothing.

After what happened to her and them, Rosy swore to be her loyal friend forever. All text © NôvelD(r)a'ma.Org.

She didn’t want to commit another the same mistake again.

Meanwhile, in a huge villa, Bill Sky was working when someone called him on the phone.

He put down his pen and answered it immediately.

“Mr. Sky, sir… I got the report from the hospital.” The man on the phone announced with a deep tone.

“According to the report, Ms. Arabella Jones had a miscarriage. She lost your second child sir.” The

man concluded firmly.
