You Are My Mr Right

Chapter 973: I Will Be Jealous

Xander couldn’t help but laugh and cry, “So, do I need to thank you for taking a liking to me?”

Verda stood firm and waved his hand, “That’s not necessary.”

Orion said, “Stay for dinner.”

Verda refused, “No, if I stay, this man will think I’m pursuing him. He’s quite dull.”

As she spoke, she even pointed at Xander.

Xander, “…”

Orion smiled and said, “He won’t be presumptuous like that. I asked you to stay because you’re Ding Qirui’s cousin, and you’re a drunk person, not safe. After dinner, I’ll take you back.”

“Yeah, it’s already dinner time,” Sacha agreed.

Verda looked at them, feeling quite lively, so she agreed, “Well then, I’ll intrude.”

“Let’s go in first,” Orion said.

The location was pre-booked, the best private room in the restaurant.

They sat down, and the manager came over to Orion, bending down to inquire softly, “Shall we begin serving now?”

“Wait, not everyone’s here yet,” Orion replied.

Verda curiously asked, “Who else is coming?”

Sacha answered, “Xander’s boss.”

Then he added, “My brother, and my sister-in-law, plus two kids.”

Verda nodded.

She looked around at them, feeling like they had a good relationship.

“You all seem to get along well,” Verda remarked.

Sacha replied, “Of course.”

Verda stood up, stood next to Sacha, and supported her chin, looking at her, “I like you.”

Sacha was taken aback, “What?”

“I like your personality,” Verda clarified.

Verda found Sacha’s personality particularly good, very similar to her own.

Both were outgoing and lively.

Sacha said, “I find you very approachable too.”

She took a deep breath, though she never lacked money, food, or had some good friends, but those friends were not quite the same, all rich and carefree, just hanging out together.

But looking at these people, she felt different.

“Have we arrived late?” Freya pushed open the door to the private room with Kai.

Orion stood up, “Not at all.”

Luna also beckoned Kai over to sit beside her.

Kai ran over and sat next to Luna. She lifted him onto the chair beside hers.

“Sit.”

Orion pulled out a chair for Freya, Elijah held Morton and followed.

Verda raised her eyebrows as she glanced around the room, all handsome men inside?

She thought Evan, Orion, and Xander look good, but there were even more good-looking men.

Are all the good-looking men in the country gathered here?

Orion pulled out a chair for Freya, Elijah sat with Morton.

“Waiter, bring the food,” Orion sat back down.

Verda looked at Orion, “Aren’t you going to introduce everyone?”

Freya noticed a girl as soon as she entered the room.

She was wondering who she was.

Orion introduced Freya and Elijah to Verda, “This is my friend’s cousin.”

Freya nodded in acknowledgment.

Verda warmly greeted, “Hello.”

Freya politely replied, “Hello.”

Orion told Verda, “Freya, Yujing, and I are good friends.”

Verda nodded.

The dishes were quickly served.

Orion said, “These are all specialty dishes; if you go back, you won’t taste such authentic flavors.”

Freya agreed, “Yes, even if you stay there for a long time, you still won’t get used to their food.”

Fortunately, they had hired a chef specializing in Chinese cuisine at home.

It was no different from being in China.

“Are you planning to go back soon?” Orion asked.

“Why, are you trying to kick us out?” Sacha joked.

Orion smiled, “I actually hope you can stay longer, mainly because, can you stay longer?”

Elijah was so busy, and if all of them came, the company would be left behind, which was definitely not possible.

He was very clear on that.

Xander said, “If they haven’t had enough, they can stay a few more days. I’ll go back first.”

“I already booked my flight for tomorrow,” Xander said.

Orion asked, “In such a hurry?”

“There’s nothing to do here, and you’re all paired up, being here just reminds me of it. It’s better to go back to work; my lifelong partner is my work.”All content is © N0velDrama.Org.

“Great, Elijah enjoys hearing that,” Orion said, “you’re not just working hard all the time; now you want to dedicate yourself and work for the rest of your life, tsk tsk, how come I haven’t met someone like that? If I did, I’d be relaxed, I’d take Luna and the stars, travel everywhere, savoring life.”

“Now you have a daughter and Luna by your side, aren’t you satisfied?” Evan teased, “You have too many desires.”

“A person can’t just work all the time; having enough money is enough,” Orion said.

“Hey, can you be the same as others?” Xander asked.

Evan mocked, “We can all give up, can you?”

Everyone understood why Orion gave up his medical career. Wasn’t it all because of the mess at home?

The things he gave up now, would his mother agree to that?

Clearly not.

Orion stood up, pouring wine for each of them, “You guys, always poking at my sore spots.”

“Alright, you’re lucky enough.” Xander said.

Although he didn’t like his job now, he held onto his family business, married the woman he liked, had a daughter, and would have a son in the future. With two children, he was a winner in life.

He was envious of that.

“Come, let’s have a drink, here’s to us getting better and better.”

Everyone raised their glasses, and Kai also raised his.

After drinking up, Orion put down his glass, “Xander, are you staying a few more days?”

Xander shook his head, “No.”

Orion smiled, “Tell me, are you going to find a white-skinned, blonde woman to be your wife in the future?”

Xander didn’t mind since he worked in France and interacted with people there. And there were also employees from that area in the company.

Evan said, “There’s a company rule that office romance is not allowed.”

Xander glanced at him, “I’m not looking outside, okay?”

The voices of Orion, Evan, and Xander filled the dining table.

The three of them were chatting fervently.

Luna took care of Kai, Elijah took care of Morton.

He didn’t like to interfere.

Luna said to Freya, “If you have nothing to do when you go back, stay a few more days.”

Freya also wanted to stay a few more days.

But with two children, it was inconvenient to be out all the time.

“I need to go see Xingxing before I leave.”

Kai immediately added, “I’ll come too.”

“Hey, Kai, you’re still so young, haven’t even started school yet, and you’re already thinking about your future wife by yourself?” Sacha teased him.

Kai blinked his big round eyes, “If mom doesn’t go back, I don’t want to go back either. I want to be with mom.”

“Sister-in-law, I’ll walk with you. Whenever you leave, I’ll leave,” Sacha said to Freya, “It’s not easy for me to come back, don’t want to go so soon.”

Freya said, “Okay, I’ll take you wherever I go.”

“You’re the best, sister-in-law.” Sacha ordered Evan, “Quick, serve the soup for sister-in-law.”

Freya laughed, “If I don’t bring you, will you not give me any soup?”

“Of course not,” Sacha said.

As they chatted, Evan served a bowl of soup and placed it in front of Freya.

Freya felt embarrassed, “Are you serious?”

“Of course,” Evan said, “I have to listen to my wife.”

Freya picked up the soup and drank it, feeling like she owed Evan this.

She then reached out to hold Morton, “I’ve finished eating, give Morton to me.”

“Mama, mama,” Morton reached out his hands, wanting to be held by Freya.

Elijah could only give him to her.

Verda felt like an outsider, watching them.
