You Are My Mr Right

Chapter 925: Everything I Have

For Luna, it was better for Vivian to sleep than to wander around the house.

Thinking about Orion’s attitude towards Vivian, she felt Orion’s mind was not normal.

Clearly knowing Vivian had no abilities and couldn’t help with household chores, he still insisted on keeping her around.

Was he deliberately trying to make things difficult for himself?

When did he become so childish?

Childish to the point of being ridiculous!

Waaah-

The baby suddenly woke up.

Crying loudly.

Oh man, the softness of it all, it could break anyone’s heart.

Luna rushed to the room and picked up the baby, who immediately stopped crying, like a switch had been flipped.

There were still tears on the baby’s face, and the look in the baby’s eyes at Luna was pitiful.

One would think she had been bullied.

That soft and adorable look, it could melt anyone’s heart!

Luna gently wiped away the tears from the baby’s eyes, “Is the baby hungry?”

The baby didn’t respond, couldn’t understand, and just sucked on her little pacifier.

Luna put her back in the crib.

But as soon as the baby touched the crib, she started crying again, as if there were thorns on the bed.

Helpless, Luna said, “Baby, how can I prepare your formula if you want me to hold you?”

The baby, with big watery eyes, and tears.

Luna had no choice but to hold the baby and prepare the formula.

She put the bottle in the baby’s mouth, and the baby immediately started sucking eagerly.

She was feeding so eagerly, she must have been very hungry.

Luna gently patted her, “Baby, slow down, you might choke.”

No one was there to hear her.

She looked at the baby lovingly as she smiled.

The baby was feeding so vigorously, a fine layer of sweat formed on her forehead, and Luna gently wiped it away.

Maybe she was tired from feeding, as she fell asleep before finishing her milk.

Luna took the bottle away, and the baby immediately opened her eyes again, her little head turning to look for the pacifier.

She seemed unsatisfied.

Luna placed the pacifier by the baby’s mouth, and she sucked on it.

She didn’t actually suck, she was just tired, she just liked to fall asleep while holding the bottle.

Luna rocked her gently, waiting for her to fall into a deep sleep before slowly removing the pacifier. All content © N/.ôvel/Dr/ama.Org.

The baby searched for it again, but didn’t wake up.

Luna put her back in the crib and gently rocked her.

The baby fell into a deep sleep, and Luna washed the bottle and placed it in the sterilizer.

In Country F, Sasha was admitted to the hospital.

She had accidentally fallen and showed signs of a miscarriage, so the hospital required her to stay.

Freya brought Morton to visit her.

“What happened? How did you fall?” Freya reproached, “What if something serious happened?”

Sacha looked embarrassed.

Freya asked Morton to give Sasha the flowers.

Sasha took the flowers and smiled at Morton, “Thank you, darling.”

Morton grinned, showing a row of pristine little teeth. He resembled Freya. “Morton will grow up to be a handsome young man.”

Freya said, “I don’t think I’m praising him, a handsome young man, is that effeminate?”

“Sister-in-law, you always twist people’s words,” Sasha laughed. “I’m sure Morton will be a manly man.”

“Auntie.” Morton could communicate quite well now.

Sacha patted his head. “Where’s your brother?”

“He’s at school.” Morton said in a small voice.

“Morton is so cute,” Sasha said with a smile.

“Sister-in-law, how did you know I was in the hospital?” Sasha looked at Freya.

Freya replied, “Evan called Elijah this morning, and I answered, so I knew you were in the hospital.”

“I see.” Sasha was a little embarrassed. “Ah, it’s really embarrassing.”

“So what happened? How did you fall? You’re pregnant, you should be extra careful, especially in the first three months.” Freya said.

Sacha intertwined her fingers. “I got up in the morning, thinking of making breakfast for Evan, and accidentally spilled water on the kitchen floor… no, slipped on it accidentally.”

She couldn’t bring herself to tell the real situation. While she did make breakfast and did slip because Evan wanted to kiss her and she dodged playfully, she accidentally slipped. But she couldn’t say it out loud. It was too embarrassing. Imagine if something happened to the baby, she would regret it.

“You have to be more careful during pregnancy.” Freya tucked her in. “What do you feel like eating? I’ll make it for you.”

Sacha shook her head immediately. “There’s nothing special I want to eat.”

She didn’t want to trouble Freya.

“What did the doctor say?” Freya asked.

“There’s nothing serious, just need to stay in bed. It could have been done at home, but Evan insisted I stay in the hospital.” Sacha thought of Evan, and a hint of happiness couldn’t be hidden on her face.

Freya smiled and said, “He cares for you and for the baby in your belly. Just stay in the hospital for a while until you recover completely.”

Sacha nodded and said, “Sister-in-law, are you wasting your talents by being a homemaker? Why is it that women sacrifice their careers, but men cannot?”

Freya looked down at Morton lying on her lap with a toy puppy in his hands, looking exactly like a real one, cute and adorable, with a switch on its stomach; when turned on, the little dog would move and bark. Freya gently caressed her son’s head.

“I don’t think it’s a sacrifice. In a family, there should be mutual give and take. He provides for the family financially, ensuring I don’t have to worry about money, so I should take care of the household. Watching my children grow up is also a kind of happiness. I feel guilty towards Kai; I didn’t take care of him much when he was young. I didn’t know when he would walk, how many months until he grew his first tooth, what his first words were… it’s like I did nothing, and he grew up. So in the days to come, I want to take care of both of them, seeing them grow up. Success in career is one thing, but if I can raise two kids who are sensible and healthy, it’s also a success.”

Sacha nodded thoughtfully, thinking from a different perspective it did make sense.

“Many ordinary families, the wives take care of the family and children, maybe we are luckier than them.” Sasha said.

Freya said, “Yes, we are already very happy.”

Although there were worries, at least there was no financial stress.

“In the future, I also want to watch my children grow up.” Sasha caressed her still-flat belly. “I will love him very much, I can’t understand why someone would abandon their own flesh and blood. No matter how I think about it, it’s unimaginable how cruel their hearts must be.”

Freya could tell she was probably thinking of her own background when she sighed.

She gently patted her hand. “Maybe they had no choice.”

There were certainly unfit parents in this world who didn’t love their children, but she believed that there were also those who had no choice.

She comforted Sasha, “Don’t overthink during pregnancy.”

Sacha nodded, “I know, I’m not thinking too much.”

She just suddenly thought of it and felt emotional.

Even though she was adopted, she received all the love and care just like her biological parents. Even more so, she had nothing to complain about or regret.

If she hadn’t been abandoned, she wouldn’t have everything she had now.
