You Are My Mr Right

Chapter 855: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you

Freya watched Sacha’s lively demeanor, her gaze softening.

Since that incident, Sacha had become more reserved and quiet.

Seeing her return to her former self was somewhat comforting.

Elijah and Evan were talking.

Probably discussing their return.

Things were fine on their end, no pressing matters to attend to. The main concern was Evan and Sacha, newlyweds who could afford to stay a few more days here.

Elijah and Evan discussed it, informing him as well.

But Evan said, “We’re going back with you.”

Getting married so quickly, he also had work to return to.

Although his leg wound had not fully healed yet, it was much better now.

He was bored here.

And he and Sacha had already agreed to return after the wedding.

They would be going back in a couple of days.

“I’ll take care of the arrangements for the return trip!” Evan said.

He had handled such matters before.

Elijah patted his shoulder, “Forget it, I’ll have someone handle it.”

Evan had just gotten married, he needed some time.

“My body is all healed…” Evan started to say.

“Xander has been complaining, once you go back, he’ll be busier.” Elijah chuckled for once.

Evan knew that with him gone, Xander would definitely have more work on his plate.

But his health had improved.

“I should share his burden, too. I’m sure Xander is feeling the pressure, working every day without a family of his own.”

Evan couldn’t help but sigh.

Elijah raised an eyebrow, “Are you implying that I’m overworking him?”

Just as Evan was about to explain, Elijah interrupted, “Once we get back, I’ll give Xander a break, and all the responsibilities will fall on you.”

Evan, “…”

What did he say exactly?

Why did he talk nonsense!

Creating problems for himself.

“That Mr. Silverton…”

Elijah didn’t have time to listen to his excuses.

He picked up his son and left.

Evan, “…”

He was defeated; Orion, on the other hand, was ecstatic.

He was practically laughing his head off.

Evan walked over, feeling the urge to kick him.

“Why are you so happy? Aren’t you afraid of laughing yourself to death?” Evan said irritably.

Orion laughed even more, “You should scold Elijah, not me.”

Evan couldn’t be bothered, “Go away.”

But Orion persisted, pestering him, “You’re already married, why don’t you spend some quality time with your wife? Why rush back to work? What’s on your mind?”Belongs © to NôvelDrama.Org.

“Hasn’t your family’s company gone bankrupt yet?” Evan shot back, “Aren’t you broke, loafing around like this every day?”

Orion, “…”

“Your words sound like a curse.” He wasn’t completely idle, just less busy after having a child.

Why would he go bankrupt?

“Leave me alone, leave me alone.” Orion waved him off, “Do not do unto others what you would not have them do unto you.”

Rolling his eyes, Evan retorted, “Aren’t you describing yourself?”

Orion really wanted to punch him, “If you keep treating me like this, would you dare say this to Elijah?”

“Will you two ever stop?” Freya intervened, exasperated with the two of them, “Evan, Sacha is calling for you.”

Evan went over.

Freya looked at Orion, “Can’t you speak nicely?”

“Just joking.” Orion smiled, “Alright, I’ll tone it down.”

They didn’t return until late at night.

Dinner was left untouched.

Everyone’s stomachs were full.

Freya put the two children to bed, took a shower, and walked into the bedroom to find Elijah standing by the window, talking on the phone.

She quietly approached him, wrapping her arms around his waist from behind.

In a hushed tone, she asked, “Who are you talking to?”
