You Are My Mr Right

Chapter 782: The Outcome Tells You

Luna stared at Tyler, holding her teacup. “When did you learn all this? Let me guess? How could I possibly guess?”

“I went to the bureau, not for a mission but for a reward. I accomplished something this time,” Tyler said.

He brought something over and handed it to Luna. “This is for you.”

Luna opened it and found $20, 000 in cash. Money wasn’t important to people like them.

What mattered was the medal.

Luna knew Tyler had earned it with his life.

She asked, “Are you willing to give this to me?”

Tyler looked at Paggie on the bed, reached out and touched her tender cheek. “Isn’t everything I have already yours?”

Luna smiled.

“Oh, by the way, your friend Freya, do you want to give her a call? Zane will be on trial these days. He has shown his merits, but he has committed multiple offenses. However, his sentence may be reduced at the discretion of the court.”

Luna’s smile gradually faded.

Tyler raised his head. “Live your own life well, don’t worry about others.”

Luna gathered herself and said, “I know.”

She picked up her phone. “I’m going to make a call.”

Tyler acknowledged with a nod.

Freya was searching for an ophthalmologist online.

She didn’t know many ophthalmologists in her home country.

So she needed to look for more options.

She posted a thread on a forum, briefly describing Elijah’s situation.

Soon, she received several replies.

It was a medical forum.

Experts from various departments were present.

Ophthalmology was not her strong suit.

So she needed to learn more.

Click…

The door suddenly opened.

Freya looked up.

And there stood Orion.

She frowned.

Orion stood at the doorway, momentarily stunned. “I’m used to it.”

Because this was his place, he had forgotten that Freya and her family had moved in.

“Is there something?” Freya asked.

Orion said, “Nothing. It’s just that Xander has arranged people around here. It’s safe here. I came to tell you so that you can feel at ease!”

Freya nodded. “I have you here, and Eagle too. I’m quite at ease. What I’m worried about is Elijah.”

Orion sat at the table. “Do you want me to keep an eye on him for you?”

“If Elijah didn’t ask you to go, maybe he wants to leave you here. You should stay here so that he doesn’t have to worry about things at home while dealing with matters outside,” Freya explained.

Orion smirked. “So considerate, huh?”

Freya really felt like rolling her eyes at him!

She wasn’t in the mood for jokes, okay?

Elijah left in a hurry, without saying anything.

She didn’t know what the situation was like.

Buzz…

The phone placed on the table suddenly vibrated.

Orion glanced at it. “It’s a call from Elijah…” He didn’t finish the sentence.Exclusive content © by Nô(v)el/Dr/ama.Org.

His voice trailed off.

Because the incoming call displayed on the phone screen was not from Elijah!

It was Luna.

He darkened his expression.

Freya grabbed the phone and went outside to answer. “Luna.”

“Freya, can you come and attend the trial? Zane might be in court soon,” Luna said.

Freya wasn’t really eager to go.

She had two children by her side.

Sensing her hesitation, Luna said, “It’s okay if you don’t come. Tyler and I will be there. I’ll tell you the outcome later. When you have the chance, you can come and see him.”

Freya murmured in agreement.

“Freya, when you came last time, you seemed burdened with something.”

“It’s nothing. I just haven’t been sleeping well lately. Don’t overthink it. What could possibly be bothering me?”

Luna made a sound of understanding. “Then I’ll hang up now.”

Freya replied, and as she put down the phone, she turned around and saw Orion.

He was staring directly at her!
