You Are My Mr Right

Chapter 736 – Not Dead Yet

“Hello?”

Freya’s voice trembled with nervousness as her gaze met Luna’s. She took a step back, leaning against the wall outside the hospital room, trying to steady her emotions and lowering her voice. “Is there any news about Elijah?”

There was a moment of silence on the other end. “It’s not good news.”

Freya’s heart sank instantly.

All of her strength seemed to drain away in an instant.

She didn’t dare, didn’t want to hear any more.

She was afraid of hearing bad news.

But Evan had to tell her.

“The news of Mr. Silverton’s accident has been leaked.”

Freya didn’t know how serious the consequences of this would be, so she asked, “What do I need to do now?”

There was a moment of silence on the other end before the reply came, “At this time, it’s best for you to step forward, as you are Mr. Silverton’s legal wife. You have the right to take over everything from him, so…”

“Elijah is not dead, so what do you mean by me taking over legally?” Freya knew she was getting worked up, and she shouldn’t be like this with Evan.

“I’m sorry.”

Her mood was terrible right now!

She couldn’t stand it. Any mention of Elijah by others, even if there were traces of the accident, would make her very sensitive.

Evan knew she was under a lot of pressure right now.

They were all in the same boat.

Xander and Orion hadn’t found Elijah yet.

And now, Elijah’s whereabouts were unknown.

They were also anxious.

“What do you need me to do,” she tried to maintain a calm tone.

Evan said, “I’ve already had Xander come back. He was on a plane at the time. He and you appearing together at the company will be the most convincing.”

Freya squeezed her forehead tightly. “And if they ask about Elijah? How do I answer?”

“Just say Mr. Silverton is injured and in the hospital,” Evan said.

Stabilize people’s hearts first before saying anything else.

Freya softly acknowledged.

She sat down on the bench, looking very dejected.

Her mental state was at an all-time low!

“I’ve had Xander return to the country. Once things are taken care of in the country, you can come back together. Orion is still looking for Mr. Silverton’s whereabouts, so you don’t need to worry too much. After all, Xander is fine.”

“Okay.” Freya responded.

The call ended.

Freya sat on the bench.

At this moment, she felt helpless.

She couldn’t imagine how she would face the current situation alone without Evan, Xander, and Orion.

“Miss Stone.”

Leroy came out carrying a meal box.

Freya looked up.

She tried to muster some energy. “Has Luna finished eating?”

Leroy said, “Yes, she’s feeling much better after knowing Tyler is okay. You wouldn’t believe what happened to her when Tyler had surgery. She had a difficult birth, and the doctor recommended a C-section, but she refused. She said if Tyler died, she wouldn’t live either, not even considering the baby’s situation. It really scared us.”

Freya was incredulous. “Shouldn’t she have given birth to the child for Tyler’s sake?”

“Yeah, who wouldn’t think so? That’s Tyler’s bloodline, after all. If something happened to Tyler, at least there would be a child left in this world. We didn’t know what she was thinking at the time, probably just shocked.”

That’s why she was so stubborn.

Freya didn’t agree with that.

What did Luna do before?

A forensic scientist!

A forensic scientist also needs a strong inner self.

And a calm mind.

How could she panic like that?

Freya didn’t show her doubts in front of Leroy, just smiled at him.

After Leroy left, Freya sat on the edge of the bed, her eyes staring intently at Luna.

Luna asked, “Why are you staring at me? Is there something on my face?”

She felt a tingling sensation from being stared at.

Freya was direct. “Are you hiding something from me?”
