You Are My Mr Right

Chapter 712: Motherly Overflow

Freya heard clearly the deep inhale he took.

He turned to lie down beside her, pulling the blanket over her.

Freya didn’t move.

She needed time to calm her turbulent heart.

After a long while, Freya calmed down.

Her inner self was still quite composed.

Elijah, however, did not share her composure.

Getting up, he said, “I’ll take a cold shower.”

Freya said, “Cold showers aren’t good.”

She got up, fetched a glass of cold water for him, and handed it over, “Have a drink.”

Elijah looked at her for a moment before taking it and having two sips.

Freya asked, “Trouble sleeping?”

Confused, Elijah asked, “Hmm?”

Freya suggested, “It’s still early, why don’t we take Kai to a movie?”

He definitely wouldn’t sleep at a time like this.

In truth, she wouldn’t either.

Elijah agreed, “Okay.”

So they got up, put on casual clothes, and downstairs Kai also got dressed.

Kai had just taken off his clothes and climbed into bed, confused, blinking his eyes, and asked, “Mom, are we sleeping now?”

“Mom and Dad will take you to the movies,” Freya replied, dressing him. “Do you want to go?”

Kai nodded eagerly, “I want to go.”

He smiled so much his eyes squinted, “As long as I’m with Mom and Dad, I’m happy doing anything.”

Freya kissed his little cheek.

“Mom will have more time to spend with you from now on.”

Kai blinked his eyes, his thick eyelashes blinking, and he grinned, showing a row of white baby teeth.

Joyfully, he hugged Freya’s neck, planting a kiss on her cheek.

Freya’s heart almost melted.

She hugged her son, “Mom will buy you some delicious treats.”

At this moment, her motherly love overflowed.

She just wanted to give him the very best of everything.

Taking Kai out, she waved goodbye and left.Exclusive © material by Nô(/v)elDrama.Org.

Elijah drove.

In the car, Freya used her phone to book movie tickets.

Recent releases had good reviews but for Kai’s happiness, she chose an animated film.

The reviews said it was suitable for children.

Freya bought three tickets.

They arrived at the cinema just in time.

They bought popcorn and milk tea.

Kai was thrilled.

He bounced around as they walked.

He was extremely happy.

Seeing him so joyful, Freya couldn’t help but smile.

Elijah put his arm around her shoulder, “Let’s go in!”

They entered theater 14.

It was quite empty inside.

They found their seats.

Soon the lights in the theater dimmed.

The movie began.

After about 130 minutes, Kai fell asleep halfway through, resting in Freya’s arms.

His cheeks were flushed with a smile.

In a soft voice, Freya asked Elijah, “Should we go back?”

Not feeling tired, Elijah suggested they finish watching.

He took off his coat and covered Kai.

They continued watching until the end before leaving.

Elijah had to carry Kai.

He had gained some weight and was quite heavy now.

Freya said, “You still have to drive. Let me carry him to wake him up later.”

Back home, Freya carried Kai upstairs.

They slept together.

Kai slept in between them.

Elijah, however, kept tossing and turning, unable to sleep.

It was almost midnight.

Getting up, he walked over to Freya’s side and lay down next to her.

Freya protested, “No…”

“I know, I just want to hold you,” Elijah replied, hugging her.

Tyler gazed at the preoccupied Luna and asked, “What’s wrong?”

Luna snapped out of her thoughts, shaking her head, “Nothing.”

“You seem preoccupied,” Tyler observed, having noticed her distraction over the past few days.

“If there’s anything on your mind, tell me,” Tyler gently pressed on her shoulder. “You’re nearing your due date, you shouldn’t be so downcast. Tell me what’s bothering you so I can help.”

Luna looked up at him.

After a moment of hesitation, she said, “I know the person called Zane.”
