"Where are you going?" Bernard asked when he saw Hera anxiously coming out with her bag.

"I'm heading to the Killian residence," she said. Then, she told him about Aurora.

"I'll go back with you." After he said that, he entered the office and grabbed his laptop. Then, he drove them back to the Killian residence from Norburgh.

Hera felt frustrated in the car. Since something happened to Aurora out of the blue, it meant someone was doing something in the dark to make sure she couldn't keep the child.

She hoped nothing would happen to Aurora's child. It wasn't because she cared about Aurora. Instead, if Aurora had a miscarriage, then Hera would lose a person she could use.

After two and a half hours, Bernard's car reached the entrance of the Killian residence. Then, his phone started ringing.

It was an unregistered number, but Hera could tell from a glance that it was Everly's number. She didn't recall ever giving Everly his contact information.

Bernard glanced at the number and didn't know who it was. After answering the call, he could hear Everly's anxious voice. "Hello? Is this Mr. Killian?"

After she grabbed the phone, she put the call on loudspeaker and asked, "What's up?"

"Mr... Hera?" When Everly heard Hera's voice, she immediately explained, "Tiramisu is suddenly puking and having diarrhea, and it looks extremely weak right now. I've brought it to the vet, but it's throwing a fit and not letting anyone touch it.

Tiramisu's stressful reaction might kill it, and she was worried. However, she couldn't head to the vet now, and Douglas was still in Norburgh. So, she had to ask Bernard to go first.

"I'll check on Aurora with you first." He didn't stop driving at all. Instead, he kept driving from the gates to the door. He didn't care about Aurora's well-being at all. He was just worried that Chad would put Hera in a spot.

There were a lot of maids and nurses in the yard, and they all looked solemn.

"Even if you go in, there's nothing you can do to help. You might as well check on Tiramisu as soon as possible." Hera unbuckled her seatbelt and got out of the car with her bag. Then, she reminded him, "It's your pet too. So, get going now."

Bernard didn't know what to say. Then, he figured it was fine. After all, the Killians couldn't hurt her at all with their capabilities. Since she didn't want him to follow her, he might as well check on Tiramisu.

The maids standing in the yard knew Hera was Dr. Shadow and didn't stop her from entering. She walked right into the retro-looking living room, and it felt more solemn inside than the yard outside.

Karen was sitting in the living room with a long face. Linda was seated next to her, and Jamie and Talia were standing at the side.
