"What's wrong? Are you feeling bored? Do you want to go out for a walk?"

Bernard pulled Hera closer and let her sit on his lap. It was an intimate move. If someone suddenly entered the room, everyone in the company would know how he was being intimate in the office.

Just as Hera was about to get up, her gaze fell on his laptop's screen, and she suddenly stopped moving. Bernard basically never looked away from his laptop, and she figured there would be a lot of secrets on it.

"Let me take a look at the tutorials that you've watched on Cyber Web previously." As she spoke, she reached out for the mouse on the desk.

"I'm currently monitoring the stock market. You can take a look after it ends at 3:00 pm."

After he said that, he switched out of the tab on the computer, and there really was a stock market page. Hera was speechless when she saw that.

Suddenly, Bernard's phone rang, and he took a glance at the incoming call. "I'm going to take this outside.

When she noticed the opportunity, she hurriedly stood up to let him leave. Right after the door was closed, she immediately grabbed the mouse and reached for the flash drive in her pocket with her left hand. When she was about to take it out, she suddenly stopped what she was doing.

If Bernard really knew she was testing him, she wondered if he was laying out a trap for her by letting his guard down. She carefully checked the running programs on the computer. As expected, there was a computer monitoring software on it!

The software could record every action that was taken on the computer and send it to the management dashboard.

If she hadn't hesitated earlier, everything she did would have been exposed on the management dashboard! Then, her lies about learning how to hack would be exposed, and her identity as Raven would be revealed as well.

After he hung up the call outside, he took a look at the monitoring software from his phone and didn't see anything suspicious. He purposely waited a little while longer to see if Hera would do anything on his computer.

Meanwhile, Hera let out a breath of relief in the office. Suddenly, her phone rang, and an unknown number from Jedburgh was calling her. Right after she answered the call, she heard Xeno's anxious voice. "Hello? Is this Dr. Shadow?"

"Something terrible has happened, Dr. Shadow. My wife's stomach is hurting terribly, and she's bleeding down there! Can you come to the Killian residence now and take a look? Our family doctor said she might lose the child."

Xeno sounded extremely anxious, and he choked like he was about to cry.

Hera immediately stood up and frowned. "What happened? Did she take the pills I gave her?"

"She did! Her stomach started hurting after she took the pills, and she just started bleeding out of the blue.

"I'm not in Jedburgh right now, so I'll get my grandma to take a look at her for now. Keep an eye on her, and don't let anyone else touch her before my grandma arrives! I'll head over there right now!"

After saying that, Hera ended the call and immediately called Catherine. After telling the latter what happened, she packed up her stuff and left.
