Unbreakable Love His Passion for Her Transcends Death

Chapter 328

"What is it?" Kiki asked, puzzled.

"My father's will," Yvette replied.

Before James had died, he had privately made an additional will as he had been worried that the company would end up in the hands of his profligate son.

According to the will, part of it allocated one billion dollars to Yvette, and another part stated that Yvette could take all his inheritance, including Snyder Group, if she chose to.

Yvette had had the will this whole time, but she had neve revealed it. If she did, the will in Yara's possession would lose its legal effect.

When Yvette had just graduated, she hadn't known how to manage a company and hadn't wanted to take away the assets from Yara and Terrence.

Besides, even though she'd had the will, she had known that it wouldn't be recognized if she didn't have any backing.

But now things were different; Yvette was no longer the soft-hearted girl she used to be. If Yara and the likes of her pushed Yvette too hard, Yvette wouldn't be afraid to fight them to the end. Upon hearing this, Kiki was incredulous. "I see. But Snyder Group is gone..."

"What if I pursue it?" Yvette asked.

Zachary, who was nearby, spoke up. "Then, they would have to return it. Even if they don't, it would be a huge trouble for them."

Yvette patted Zachary's head. "I don't really want her to return it; I just want to scare them so they'll behave."

Kiki realized that Zachary had thought faster than her and couldn't help but pinch his cheek. Zachary quickly dodged in annoyance. As they were playing around, the doorbell rang.

Kiki looked over curiously. "We didn't order any delivery. Who could it be? I'll go check."

She put on her slippers and went to look through the peephole. Then, she saw someone standing at the door wearing a mask and a hat. "Hello?" She greeted the visitor, who removed her mask. It was Daphne!

Daphne had had to ask around a few times before she had found out that Yvette had come to Tirion and was temporarily staying with Kiki. The two were renting an old apartment building, which had taken her a while to find since she had been afraid of others noticing her. "Daphne?" Kiki exclaimed in surprise. Instead of opening the door, she went back to the living room to inform Yvette. Yvette frowned at that. "What is she doing here?"

Ever since Daphne's scandalous video had gone viral worldwide a few months ago, Yvette and Kiki hadn't heard from her.

"I don't know. I'll go ask her."

"Alright."

Meanwhile, Zachary pretended to ask innocently, "Mom, is she the woman who used to bully you?"

"Who told you that?" Yvette was puzzled since she hadn't mentioned Daphne to Zachary before.

Zachary paused at the thought that he had almost been exposed. "Oh, it was Kiki. She told me when she was drunk. She said Daphne is a bad woman who used to bully you." en.swhovels.net

Yvette, reassured, hugged him. "Don't worry, no one can bully me now."

While they were talking, Kiki came back and told Yvette that Daphne had come to apologize and wanted to see her.

Hearing that, Yvette had Zachary go to his room first.

However, she couldn't immediately recall where she had seen the child before.

Shifting her gaze back to Yvette

sitting on the couch, Daphne couldn't help but notice how serene and dignified she still appeared, making it hard for Daphne to kneel before her.

At that moment, Jackie's impatient voice sounded in her earphones.

"Daphne, I don't have all day to supervise you. If you're going to kneel, do it quickly!"
