True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz)

Chapter 281

Chapter 281

After they had arrived downstairs, Jensen opened his car door and took out a piece of paper. He

handed it to Little Gary and said, "Kid, can you understand it?"

"Yes," Little Gary nodded. "It's very clear."

"Yeah, I've given you everything I know," Jensen said.

"Okay, thank you." Gary folded the paper carefully and put it in his pocket.

"Your toys," Jensen took out a box and passed it to him.

Gary fetched it and said, "I'm too old for toys. You don't have to buy me toys next time. I'd prefer you

treat me to McDonald's."

"Oh," Jensen couldn't hide his surprise. "Why do you keep thinking of food?

"My mom doesn't allow me to have burgers," Little Gary said with grievance. "It's only natural I would

feel that way."

"How could I buy you burgers when your mom doesn't allow it?" Jensen shook his head with dismay. "If

I buy it, your mom would be mad at me, so would your little aunt. She'll tear me into pieces."

Gary said with disdain, "How can you be such a coward?"

"Kid, it's not that I'm a coward. It is just an inappropriate thing to do."

"Pfft!"

At this time, Jensen's phone rang.

Jensen said, "Sorry, I'll have to answer the phone."

He picked up the phone and was startled when he saw the screen.

Gary glanced at him and said, "Is it that person?"

"You're right. It's your father," Jensen said.

Little Gary pouted and looked furious.

Jensen answered the call, "Hey, why are you calling me?"

His tone was harsh. After all he had been beaten up by Heinz.

"Where are you?" Heinz asked, his voice sounded dispirited.

"If you have something to say, just say it," Jensen said.

"Where the hell are you?" Heinz asked again. He was indeed stubborn.

"I'm at Alice's and Grace's house," Jensen said fretfully. "I'm here for dinner. Just tell me what you are

up to."

Upon hearing that, Heinz hung up on him.

Once Jensen heard the beep sound from the phone, he was fuming with rage.

"Are you nuts? he shouted.

When he looked down, he found that Little Gary was staring at him with a pair of big clear eyes. He

immediately said, "Sorry, I couldn't hold back. Your father has such a bad temper."

"I can see that," Little Gary nodded. "Luckily I didn't inherit his bad temper."

Jensen gaped at him, unable to refute.

Gary then proceeded to walk ahead, while Jensen followed him with his hands full of bags.

Out of the blue, Gary blurted, "Only those who are incompetent tend to get angry easily."

Jensen almost choked himself. "Ahem, you seem to know too much, kid."

Little Gary ignored him and pressed the button of the elevator. While waiting, he looked up at Jensen

and said, "In fact, getting angry is a kind of mental illness." "Kid, are you saying that your father is

mentally ill?"

"It was you who said it," Gary said bluntly, "If he could punch you over the phone just now, he would've

done it. I'm just stating the fact. He is probably sick and he needs treatment."

Jensen replied, "Okay, I'll let him know that he needs to take his medicine."

"You should," Little Gary nodded in all seriousness. "Yours is milder though."

"Do you mean that I'm sick too?" Jensen asked in surprise.

The elevator door opened.

Little Gary walked in. He looked at Jensen through the camera in the elevator and said, "Judging from This content © 2024 NôvelDrama.Org.

your question, you seem to be seriously ill. I'm worried about Little Aunt." "You're worrying too much,

aren't you?" Jensen said.

"I'm perfectly normal." "Mmm." Little Gary smiled and said, "So you could still talk back. Well, you still

can be cured."

Jensen was breaking into cold sweat.

He couldn't believe that he was rendered speechless and embarrassed by a five-year-old boy.

And he was the son of that man.

"It's ill-fated that I got to know you and your father. You two are always finding ways to bulldoze me,"

Jensen couldn't help complaining.

"You're wrong to say that," Little Gary corrected him. "If it's not because of me, you wouldn't be with

Little Aunt now. How could you burn the bridges now?"

Jensen couldn't say a word, After a pause, he said, "Well, I admit defeat. I owe you."

"Well, that's more like it," Little Gary said with a smile.

In the house, Grace looked at the flowers that Alice had brought back. They were yellow roses, which

symbolized apology.

She smiled and said, "Is this bouquet gifted by Officer Charm?"

"Yes," Alice nodded. "He apologized to me, but I had a strange feeling. And you know what, he said he

doesn't mind what had happened to me in the past. Don't you think he is weird?"

He was too understanding and big- hearted that Alice was doubtful about it.

As Grace recalled her sister's encounter and now her skepticism, she felt terribly upset.

She asked, "What did he say, Alice?" "He said he apologized for forcing me to be his girlfriend," Alice

answered.

"Oh." Grace breathed a sigh of relief. Fortunately, Jensen did not act rashly.

"Grace, he is really weird. Forget about it, I can't even put it into words." Alice put her bag away and

said, "I'm going to prepare for dinner."

Grace said, "Alice, you should open your heart. Don't restrain yourself too much, okay?"

While they were talking, there was a knock on the door.

Grace opened the door and let Jensen and Little Gary in.

As soon as Little Gary came in, he put down his toy and said, "Mommy, I'm going to play games. Don't

disturb me." "We have guests here. Do you think it's appropriate?" Grace asked.

"Why is it inappropriate? His target is Little Aunt. You should give them some space too, Mommy." After

saying it, Little Gary quickly barged into his room.

Grace and Jensen were stunned. The kid seemed to know everything.

Jensen's face began flushing.

"He is really something," Jensen said.

"I'm so sorry," Grace apologized. "I should have taught him better."

Jensen quickly waggled his hand and said, "No, he is very smart. You've taught him well. What he said

is true. My target is Alice."

Grace let out a smile and pointed to the kitchen. "She is there. In fact she is a good cook."

"Really? I'll go and help." Jensen said as he walked over.
