Ethan POV

I know what Agatha was thinking when she asked if I was leaving today. I need to go to the office now because I have documents to sign and I’m not comfortable leaving her at home because I know she will use the time I’m not there to escape, so what I did was I put sleeping pills on the juice I gave to her.

When she lost consciousness, I took her to her room. I also turned on the aircon so she can sleep well. I sat on the side of the bed and stared at her, who was peacefully sleeping.

After a few minutes I got up to go out because I needed to leave. I locked her room outside so I couldn’t make sure she couldn’t get out. I won’t be in the office for long and will go home. I don’t want to do this to Agatha but I have to.

Before I left the house I told the maids not to open Agatha, I just said that I would punish her so that they would not ask any more questions. I immediately got in my car and drove to the company.

FASTFORWARD

I’m on my way home because I finished reading and signed the documents and my secretary will take care of it. As soon as I entered the house I saw a maid so I approached her.

“Is Agatha already awake?” I ask.

“Earlier Sir, she was shouting and saying to open the door for her.”

I nodded and went straight to the dining area, I saw that the food was ready so I sat down and started eating. Then I put the food on the tray and carried it to Agatha’s room.

As soon as I entered I saw her sitting on the bed.

“Why did you lock me up?” she shouted at me.

“I brought you your food, eat that.” I said ignoring her question.

“Just answer my question Ethan!”

“It’s noon so eat that.” I promise.

She smirked at me. “I’m not hungry!”

“I told you to eat!” I shouted at her, she was too stubborn.

I saw that she swallowed hard because of my voice so she quickly took the spoon and fork and started eating. It’s easy to talk to her , you just have to shout at her.

I just stared at her while eating, I could tell that she was nervous so she just kept on eating.

“Why are you doing this to me Ethan?” she asked, irritable after drinking the juice.

“What now Agatha? I told you you can’t leave the house. You belong here. ” I said seriously.

She rolled her eyes on me. “Stop doing this Ethan, you don’t need to do those things to me anymore because Ican handle myself! And one more thing I am not your obligations. I am no longer as weak as before, you still need to be protected in everything. I’m used to being alone in another country, right? So I can manage now. ”

“You can’t stop me Agatha! You can’t tell me what to do or what not to do. ” I said.

“If that’s the only way you can’t get out of here I’ll do it.” I said.

“I can’t believe you! If you want to lock me up here, give me some entertainment. Boys are okay with me if you can bring them here in my room. ”

“Stop that bullshit thing!” I growl at her.

She smiled at me. “Why are you acting like that? I’m just asking for a favor. If you don’t want to bring any boys here with me. I think you can satisfy my needs as a woman. I can do it also to you.”

“Shut up! Whatever you will say will not affect me Agatha. I would rather find a woman that will fit my taste and satisfy me. ” I seriously said to her.

“You are making me laugh Ethan, are you sure you I’m not your type? Maybe you forget what happened in the past? How you kiss and touch me that night and if you don’t stop we know something will happen to us.” she scoffed.

“Shut up Agatha or else you won’t like what I will do to you.” I threatened her.

She looked scared because she didn’t speak. “If you want me to stop saying those things, allow me to go out.” She calmly promised.

“For you to escape? This is your home and this is where you fit in with me. I will not allow you to leave me again. I let you go for 3 damn years and now that you are back I will not let you go again. ” I said seriously.

After I said that I took the tray and then walked out of the room. I wasn’t born yesterday to believe her twisted excuse.

I know Agatha changed a lot, she is no longer innocent and modest like before, but I have no problem with it. It’s been three years since she left, now that she’s back I’ll make sure she stays here at home with me.

I know that she will never go back to another country because she has already resigned from her place of work. When she finished college here she told me that she wanted to go to another country to work there first and to move on so I let her go.

I went straight to the chin and just put the tray down in the dining area, only the maids will take and wash it. I sat on the sofa while straining my senses. It’s so stressful at work and here at home it’s also stressful because of Agatha’s stubbornness.
