Trapped In The Arms Of The Billionaire

Agatha POV

I woke up at exactly 3am because I felt thirsty so I got up and went down to the kitchen to get some water. Then I also immediately went upstairs.

I passed Uncle and Mama’s room so I slowly opened the door and entered. I remember how I saw here in bed my lifeless mother, my world almost collapsed when the doctor said that my mom was gone. I don’t know if I can live without her by my side but I didn’t give up because I wanted Mama to be proud of me. Even though I was having a hard time with her death, I still tried to finish the course I wanted. I am also very grateful to Ethan because he didn’t leave me when I wanted to give up.

I immediately approached the cabinet where mama’s belongings were placed, I opened it and looked for what she told me she had left. I still remember her saying when the day came that she was gone I would take it.

While I’m searching for my mother’s things I found a box so I picked it up. Maybe this is what she was referring to. I looked at the bottom of it and saw the number engraved on it, this is the password for me to open it. But I had not yet pressed the box when I heard a voice.

“What are you doing here?”

I saw Ethan leaning against the wall on the side of the door, while cross -armed and looking at me seriously.

“Gosh! Are you planning to give me a heart attack? ” my complaint.

“And who is crazy to enter my Dad’s room at exactly 3am in the morning? You look like a thief. “He said.

“I-I just took something from Mama’s stuff because she told me she left something here for me.” I stuttered.

“Ah yes, I just forgot to tell you about that thing.”

My eyes widened. “Y-you know?” I asked him.

He nodded at me. “Your Mom left that to me before because she knew you could forget.”

He turned on the light and walked over to me. “Earlier I noticed that you were stuttering. Are you hiding something from me, Agatha?”

“W-what?” You know whatever you’re thinking, stop it. I’m just stuttering because I’m not used to you being close to me, you know we haven’t seen each other for almost how many years. If you’ll excuse me I’ll go back to my room. “I sighed and walked away carrying the box that my Mom’s left me.

I hadn’t gotten out the door when he grabbed my arm. “Ethan please, I wouldn’t take anything else in this room but only this  box and you know it’s really for me.” I whispered.

“Tell me Agatha, do you plan to leave after you get that?” trace in his voice the anger.

I was about to speak when he suddenly pulled me closer to him, I could already feel his breath on my face. Damn it! Why is it that until now Ethan Hernandez has had a different effect on me.Property © of NôvelDrama.Org.

I pushed him with all my might but he didn’t want to speak. “Ethan, let me go!” I shouted at him.

“How can I let you go if you don’t want to answer my question properly, Agatha? How many years have you been gone and then you come back like a guest and leave as well? ”

“This is not my home Ethan! It’s been three years and we’ve both moved on from what happened. We should also separate our ways. ” I promise.

I felt the pressure while he held me. “And you think it’s that easy? I will not allow you to leave this damn house! ” he shouted.

I just sighed, I can’t keep up with his anger because I might not be able to leave this house forever. I know Ethan and I also know what he can do.

“I’m hurting Ethan so let me go!” I said and threw away his hand that was  holding me

“I’m telling you Agatha you can’t leave this house.” he said and turned away.

I gasped when Ethan left, wanting to scold myself because it seemed wrong for me to step on this house. But I can’t help but take what my mom’s left me because it’s just the memory that she left me even though I don’t know what’s in this box.

When I got back to my room, I went back to bed, but no matter how hard I tried to go back to sleep, I couldn’t do it so I just got up and went down to the kitchen.

When I entered the kitchen I found someone cooking, this is one of the long -time helpers here in the house. She looked at me and smiled. “You’re too early Ma’am Agatha.” she said.

“I couldn’t sleep anymore so I just went down. How about you? ” I ask.

“I’m used to it every morning, you know that when we are getting older we tend to wake up early and do housework. Do you want coffee?. ”

I nodded in response and she made me coffee.

“I’m happy and you’re all still here, I thought you had already left.” I said.

She smiled at me. “I am very grateful to the Hernandez family and even though the couple died early we could not afford to leave their youngest child and I also believe that day will come that Luke will go back here. Right now we can’t leave Ethan because he’s alone and we know he needs us. I almost raised them both so it’s hard to leave them. ” her long litany.

She handed me the coffee and I started drinking it. I’m happy that somehow Ethan still has a family because it’s hard to be an orphan completely.

Later, I said goodbye and walked to the sofa with the coffee. I sat there first and watched TV because I knew I couldn’t sleep anymore. Until I realized that I had fallen asleep.

I just woke up when I felt someone tapping my face and Ethan’s face opened up to me.

“Why are you sleeping here?” he asked me.

I stretched first before looking at him. “Because I couldn’t sleep again earlier so I just went down and had coffee and I didn’t realize that I had fallen asleep.” I answered.

“Fix yourself and we’ll eat.”

I arranged myself and followed him to the dining area. I don’t know what can be done to escape this man but I know he will leave later and go with the company.

We just ate without talking and that’s better. I just speeded up the meal and then I let him know I was just going to the pool area.

A few more minutes later as I was just sitting in the pool with my feet submerged in the water, I spotted Ethan walking towards me.

“What is that?” I asked him.

“I brought you juice because you haven’t drunk it since you finished eating.”

I took it and drank it. “Are you going to the company today?” I ask.

“Yes, I’m going to take a bath so that I can go to the office right away.”

Soon I felt dizzy and I don’t know the reasons. “What did you put in my drink?” I whispered in a weak voice.

He just smiled at me so I stood up but I was out of balance because of the dizziness I was feeling. Ethan moved quickly and I caught up.

“I know what you are thinking Agatha and if you think I will allow you to leave then you are wrong!” last I heard before completely fainting.
