Aiden entered the restaurant and eye searched until he was able to see Blossom who waved over at him slowly. He sighed and approached her, pulling out a chair and sitting opposite her.

He couldn’t have been here as he promised himself not to have anything to do with Blossom but with the way she had sounded on the phone, pleading with him to see her even if it’s for the last time.

Most especially the reason he had come here was because this person who he had known all most all his life turns out to be his Wife’s sister.

How ridiculous could things have been?

“Thank you for agreeing to see me. I didn’t expect to see you.”

“I told you I was going to come.” Aiden told her without a stare. He waved his hand on the bartender and ordered for a wine.

“I didn’t think you were going to.” Blossom said and give him a small smile. But when she noticed that Aiden wasn’t paying any attention to her, she knows better that she’s expected to just state the reason why she wanted him here.

Aiden had always been that type that doesn’t talk a lot, he prefers his actions to speak for him and he expects everyone to understand him. If you’re waiting for him to always reply everything you said, then this is you wasting your own time.

“I called because of Tihana. You already know we’re sisters.”

It was hard for her to finally say that last part. Earlier at home, she had been deciding on the best way to talk to Tihana but when she discovered she doesn’t wanna talk to anyone and had acted like she had no idea about the new update, Blossom know that the only way to get to talk to her is through Aiden.

Truth be told, she wanted to make things right and now she doesn’t care what it takes her. But she’s going to talk to Tihana and both of them are going to be sisters, step sisters if that makes it more understanding.

“Well, Step sisters, because of your father’s useless mistake.” Aiden had roll his eyes as he drinks from the glass of wine. You can tell he wasn’t enjoying being here.

But Blossom was ready to make him stay and hear her out first.

“It wasn’t his fault.”

“It’s not? Had he not keep his dick inside his pants and Marry his wife, could this have happened?”

“And what about Tihana’s mother? Wasn’t she married during the affair too…? Please don’t blame my father, Blame the both of them instead. That’s more understandable.”

Aiden looks at her, he wanted to yell at her cause he felt offensive having to sit here and listen to her Lousy talk that concerns Tihana but on the second thought, he just looks away.

“I want to speak with her.” Blossom slowly told him. Aiden turn his head once again and look at her, and before replying , he took another sip from his glass.

“She’s at home.”

“I know, but she doesn’t want to meet with my father neither me. I don’t know if she’ll be so mad at me if I come in unexpectedly, prior to the fact that she’s pregnant, I won’t want her to be worked up.”

“Since when did you become this caring? Blossom.”

Aiden had at first hold himself back not to ask that question, but having to listen to her words especially this last part, it made him want to laugh.

This is Blossom we are talking about. The spoiled princess! If there’s anyone she cares about, it’s herself and her bank account. It was surprising to talk that sweetly about Tihana. The same girl she had hated.

“Since I find out she’s my half sister.” Blossom told him with an eye roll.

“I know I might not have been good, but when it comes to family… I’m never that heartless.”

“So it’s okay for you to protect and love your family members but it’s not okay to treat non families with respect?”

“What do you mean?”

“Your arrogant behavior. The way you had treated Tihana, I know she’s so kind hearted and is going to forgive you. But trust me, if I was her I’m never going to forgive you for trying to ruin my life.”

“Everything I did was for you Aiden. Every single actions of mine against her was because I love you! You know that? I have always did ….. You never give me a reason as of why you stopped being with me, you didn’t expect me to just give up and believe that things are over? I had to fight for you!” There was tears in her eyes and her voice was breaking.

“Could you have given me a reason, I won’t do all I did. I loved you, and as much as I bring myself to believe that you and Tihana are meant for eachother, I’ll still always love you. It’s not my fault! I wasn’t the first to love someone this hard.”Content property of NôvelDra/ma.Org.

“That’s how much I can do for someone I love…. You might not understand because you never loved someone so deeply.”

“I love Tihana.” His words came out soft and unexpected.

Blossom stare at him, it was the first time she’ll hear him say those words. She bit her lashes and swallowed.

She thought that she was over Aiden, that she can stand him and say whatever it is she have to say. But it hurts so much to hear him say those words. It really those.

“Tell her to please reach out to me or my father. She can’t run away from us .”

Without waiting for his response, Blossom stood up and rush out of the restaurant in tears.

Everyone state at her. And then, from her to Aiden as if he had just abused her.

Aiden watched her run off and then he sigh and ordered for another drink.

She was a spoiled brat and will always be. But perhaps things won’t have gotten this worst if not for him. Blossom was right, she won’t have hurt Tihana if not that she was with the one she loves.

There was jealously in her tone when she had said that. And it made Aiden wonder for how long she had been holding those words and waiting for the perfect time to spill it all out.

Once outside, Blossom got into her car and buried her face on her palm and cried. She wasn’t over Aiden as she thought she was.

She was never going to. Right now, all she wanted was to just run away and never return to New York. She wanted to stay away from them until she was able to build up a better version of herself and accept that Aiden wasn’t meant for her.

But she can’t leave without making things right.. she needed to fix everything that she might have destroyed.

She thought about Trenton and know that he was the only one she needs right now. Cleaning her tears, she focused on the road and drive away from the restaurant.

She hoped that Tihana would at least accept to see her. If she refuses, then she’ll know that her actions towards her was quite a lot .. she’s going to leave New York and never return and she’s going to be wishing her dear half sister nothing but happiness.

When she alighted after packing her car in Trenton’s garage. She stood and look at herself in the rear mirror. Her face was a mess and as much as she tries not to cry, it was too much.

“Blossom. What are you doing here?” Trenton asks as he got off his car.

He had just come back from the office and had noticed Blossom’s car immediately but he turned off his engine and expects her to come over and she didn’t, that was when he realized she might be in thoughts again so he went on to call her.

Blossom turn and look at him, and as if her tears was waiting for Trenton, it came rushing down again.

“Come here” he spread her aims for her and Blossom didn’t hesitate to rush in… Hugging him.

Trenton slowly lifted her off the ground and have her wrap her legs around his waist, she relaxes her hair and let her cry on his shoulder.

“It’s okay. I’m here for you.”

“Everyone left me….. I thought I was over him, but I’m not. I still love him.”

Trenton swallowed and hold back the jealously he felt hearing those from her, but this isn’t the time to worry about his own feelings.

“You can cry if that makes you better. But I’m here for you, I haven’t left you. It’s also okay to love too much. You’ll be fine.”

Those were just the words Blossom wants to hear.

“That it’s okay not to be okay.”

“Do you think Tihana…..” Trenton cut her short.

Bringing her back to the floor, he placed his lips on hers almost immediately before she could react.

Blossom didn’t kiss back, she was shocked.

Trenton broke the kiss after and stare at her, right into her eyes as if searching for answers.

“You’ll be fine.” He muttered to her.
