The Persistent CEO Wants A Baby

“I told you she’s Nice” Aiden was the first the break the silence once they got into the car after waving at Ms Turner who had a bug smile plastered on her face.

“I know she is.” Tihana smiles..

“Do you mind if I led back? I feel sleepy and weak.” She added and Aiden nods and pushes the seat over, in a way it’ll be comfortable for her to lay down and sleep.

Tihana gave him a sleep before laying down.

The trip back home lasted for only a while, when Aiden alighted, Tihana was still fast asleep. It made him to stop for a while just to look at her face.

She was really looking tired and one could tell all she needed was the best rest age can get. Aiden walk to the other side of the car and opened it. He gently carried her out in a bridal style after throwing his key to one of the guards who knew exactly what to do.

Aiden carried her all the way into the room and slowly lay her on the bed, he removed her heels and loosen up the gown she was wearing.

While Tihana was still asleep, Aiden chose to give her a little massage on her foot.

“Mother, are you okay?” Emma asked as she approached her mother.

She had just gotten back from school only to meet her mother laying on the couch , it was quite unusual.

Because first, Tihana had helped Emma get back to school as well was able to get her mother a job at a local company. So, it’s just afternoon and still working hours.

“You’re back.” May asked her daughter as she slowly sat up, stretching her hand to grab a cup of water. Emma helped her get it before sitting down.

“Yes. Are you okay? It’s unusual to see you at home.”

“I know. I had to take a leave cause I wasn’t feeling okay. How was school tho?”

Emma looks at her and then nods, “it was fine. I can’t wait for the semester to be over so I can visit Tihana.”

“Yeah. Just be a good girl still. Gosh, I feel so guilty each time I remember how she’ve helped us, I wonder what exactly we could’ve done if she hadn’t come to our aid.”

“I know right? But she just acted like we have been so good to her and nothing like the past ever happens.”

“I’d say she’s just like her mother.”

The question har pooped up so May had to keep quiet and think about it before replying to her dear daughter.

“I think. I don’t really know, it depends if the father knew Tihana’s mother was pregnant for him.”

Emma nods in understanding. “I’ll go and fix lunch, I noticed you weren’t able to fix one.”

“I came back an hour ago and had went for a nap immediately I got home.”

“Where’s Aiden?” It was early in the morning and Tihana had woken up quite late. She was surprised when one of the maids came into the room and served her , her breakfast in bed. Telling her that the little dish was prepared by Mr Aiden before he left.

Tihana had only remembered falling asleep in the car on their way back home, nothing more. She was really tired even after waking up. And she know it was because of her, the baby was making her weak.

“He left to meet with someone, he said he’ll be back in an hour or two.”

“Thank you.”

While Tihana watched the maid bow her head abd walks out of the room, Tihana couldn’t help but wonder who it was Aiden had gone to visit.

She could’ve thought it was his mother or perhaps grandfather, but on the other hand .. they’ve just gotten back from his mother’s apartment yesterday and Aiden isn’t the type that’ll like to visit his grandfather on a normal day.

Thinking about Aiden recently was overwhelming to her. She welcomes the thoughts of him and was ready to embrace it over and over again… It was good and refreshing seeing the other side of Aiden.

Not only have he been so good to her, but he had actually given her all of his attention. Even tho he had reassured her that her giving birth won’t change his feelings for her.

Tihana still has a thing or two to worry about. The fact there remains this marriage is still a contracted marriage and nothing had changed. So, in everything she does, she reminds herself every single day that a day will come when Aiden won’t be there anymore.

This had made her not really welcoming the idea that she was so in love with the better version of Aiden. It’s okay for Aiden to make her feel this way, with the way he gives her all of his time and attention, the way he looks at her and with the way he kisses her… But it wasn’t okay for her to get too carried away and believe Aiden was going to keep someone like her too close for a long period of time.

Her phone started ringing and she reach for it, checking the caller and confirming it was from Diana, she suddenly saw herself smiling as she takes the call.

“How’re you doing? Since you hadn’t call after going back home with your dear husband, I decided to check up on you myself and confirm you’re still alive. ”

It made Tihana laugh.

“I’m sorry. I had a stressful day yesterday and I’m just waking up.”

She heard Diana hiss on the other end and it made her still even more.

True, Diana is dramatic and always acting like a baby.

“I’m having my first official date with Wayne.” Diana finally said to her. With the way she had breathed down, Tihana could tell it took her quite a while to say that and she was unsure about it too.

“Uhm, then why you sounding sad?”

“Do you think both of us are a good match? I feel like I’m rushing things. And to think it’s Aiden’s best man we’re talking about.”

“You’re fine Diana. You deserve someone as supportive as Wayne in your life, trust me. Don’t worry yourself about something not needed to worry about and just focus on being the best version of yourself. Wayne loves you, he always had.”

There was silence before Diana breaths down and went on to reply.

“Thank you Tihana. You’re the best.”

They went on to talk a little longer before disconnecting the call and saying bye to eachother. Tihana drops her phone on the bed and opened the food that had been in front of her for a while.

Isn’t it ridiculous that she’s pregnant but not too hungry as many other pregnant woman had felt?

She hardly crave for anything expect for Aiden’s attention. She smiles and inhale the smell of the food. Really, it was amazing to hear that Aiden Turner took out his precious time just to make this food for her.

It made her wonder how long, how many hours it took him until he was done with the food.

Taking a spoonful, Tihana’s face lights up immediately. The food was exactly how she wanted it.
