The Persistent CEO Wants A Baby

Tihana almost lost her stand but all thanks to Mr Norman who was standing right beside her. She had even forgotten about him coming here with her.

Her eyes became teary immediately as she tries to hold back the tears in her eyes.. Emma on the other side, have gone back to the hospital room in tears to check up on her mother.

No one had expected this to happen. The doctor had announced him dead 25 minutes after he was brought in. He was brought in very late, according to the doctor.. he could’ve survived if he had been receiving treatment on time.

“Mother, this is your fault. You rendered me fatherless! This couldn’t have happened if you had listened to me.”

Emma shut the door behind her, and confronts her mother who wasn’t actually in tears but she was grieving… Her husband’s lifeless body was in front of her, covered up. She had refused to let the doctors take him to the morgue.

“He isn’t died! Trust me… The doctor was just lying and playing a game with us.”

“No doctors plays with death! I told you many times that we should at least seek for help. I told you Tihana isn’t that heartless to ignore our cries, but you wouldn’t want to hear it! I hate you so much for this . You’ve done nothing but bring pain and destruction to our family.”

Not wanting to hear anything else from her mother, Emma turns her back and left the room. But she didn’t approach Tihana, she ran past her in tears.

Somehow, she needed to just be alone and grief over what had befallen her once perfect family.

“Are you okay?” Mr Norman turns to look at Tihana who seems to be holding her stomach and squeezing her face.

“Yes… I guess my baby is kicking.” Tihana swallowed and try not to cry.

“You… You are pregnant?” Mr Norman mutters and Tihana didn’t notice that surprised tone in his words.

“Yeah.”

“Mr Norman, thank you for agreeing to come with me. But don’t you think you should leave? You company might need you, I’ve heard your phone rang up to ten times.”

“Yeah. I should probably go, so sorry for your loss Tihana.”

Tihana gave him a quick smile. “Thank you Mr Norman.”

“I’ll leave now, but uhm…. Can we have a discussion sometimes? Whenever you want.”

“Is everything Okay?”

“Yes it is.. just ..”

“Oh my Goodness Tihana! How’re you feeling? I run over here immediately I received your message.” Mr Norman turn his head to look Diana who didn’t even notice his presence.

“Thanks for coming Diana… After you left, I got a call from Emma about dad being sick. Thanks to Mr Norman, he offered to drive me but before the doctors could start treatment .. he couldn’t make it.”

“That’s so terrible!” Turning to Mr Norman. “Sorry Sir, I didn’t actually notice you. Thank you for driving her, that’s so kind of you. ”

“It’s actually nothing. I’ll leave now Tihana and don’t forget what I said. My condolences to you tho.” With a quick smile that had disappeared immediately, Mr Norman left.

Diana watched him until he was out of sight before she turned to Tihana. “what is he doing here? Like, yeah you said he drove you here but how did you meet him?”

“Uhmm.. Diana, I’ll be right back. I saw Emma rush out and I need to talk to her. I have seen her mother too.”Belongs © to NôvelDrama.Org.

Tihana nodded and stood up, walking away. Diana breathed and try to reflect back on seeing Mr Norman here. Diana had noticed a lot of strange thing with Mr Norman and his daughter too.

First, Blossom had visited yesterday to apologize to Tihana, which she didn’t feel was true. She knows Blossom more than anyone else and knows fir sure that apologizing is something that is never on Blossom’s list unless she’s cooking something up.

Diana had tried talking to Tihana about her and since it almost cost problem between them, she had to let it go. But one thing is sure, she’s going to protect Tihana from such person like Blossom.

Second, About Mr Norman.. Diana had noticed about how he was actually being nice to Tihana and was kind of always trying to be around her.

Perhaps is me over thinking cause I hate Blossom?’ Diana had questioned herself.

She picked up her phone and look at it for the hundredth time, there was still call or text message from Wayne. Diana sighed.

“Was I too harsh on him?”

She wanted to believe that she was harsh on him and that’s why he hasn’t called on text. But on the other hand, she agrees within herself that she did the right thing.

But what she doesn’t understand is that fact that she’s mad at Wayne for cutting off with her… She had kind of became so used to his company that she badly needed to see or talk to him right now.

But her pride… Can she really do it? It won’t be bad to give him just one call’ Diana tries to talk to herself.

But at the end, she ended up shuffling her phone into her purse.

“Hey…” Tihana touched Emma’s shoulder as she sat beside her on the hospital chair.

Emma was sitting outside in the waiting room in tears, but one could handle tell she was crying . It’s more like, she’s sobbing.

“I haven’t seen Mom around. Is she okay?”

Emma looks at her in surprise. “Tihana… You still call her Mom after all she’ve done to you? I mean ‘We’. We made you leave the house and we never cared about what happens to you, but here you are… You came running immediately you heard the news.”

“You guys did me no wrong! I believe you and mother didn’t mean that.”

“We do! We mean everything that happened. Don’t try to defend our Wrongs. But all things was my fault. I let that woman poison my mind.”

“Don’t address her like that Emma. She’s still your mother and I believe she’s Sorry ”

“No she’s not. Cause if she’s sorry, she could have called you a long time ago when Dad’s sickness wasn’t worst.”

“About your Dad… I’m so sorry for your loss Emma. It’s sad I didn’t get to meet him before he died, I have always wanted to see him again.”

“Tss! You’re so kindhearted. We don’t deserve you.” In tears, Emma hugs Tihana who didn’t hold back and went on to hug her back , petting her back like a baby.

“You’ll be fine…..”

Suddenly, Emma disengage from the hug and stare at Tihana.

“What’s wrong?”

“Uhm.. You’re pregnant!?” Emma questioned and Tihana stared at her.

She had intended to hide this from her and her mother, she had no plan of telling her about her contract marriage either. Now, how did Emma knew she was pregnant?

“I’m right? I felt the kick..” Emma said slowly, and without waiting for Tihana’s respond. Emma placed her hands on Tihana’s belly which isn’t big yet.

Chuckling.. “I’m gonna be an aunt.”
