“You sent them out together purposely right?” Tihana asked with a smile as she start unpacking everything that Aiden had bought.

“Yeah. I noticed they both still have a lot to talk about. Do you like it?” Aiden asked when Tihana finally come across the gold necklace he had bought for her.

“It’s beautiful. Can you help me?” Aiden nods, take it from her hand and out it across her neck. Tihana picked up her phone and look at herself through it’s screen..

“Thank you Aiden. This is beautiful.”

“I’m glad you like it. Uhmm, My mother actually called.” Tihana turn her head to look at him.

She was kind of surprised, or maybe got a little nervous when Aiden talked about his mother.

“She was asking if we could visit her some time.”

“Yeah we could. Should we go over for dinner tomorrow?”

Aiden smile. “You’re so beautiful. Yeah, I’ll let her know right now.”

Tihana blushed at the compliment and watched Aiden send out a text message, obviously to her mother. There was silence, as Tihana starts arranging the stuffs back in the bags.

“I’ll be going for my check up this evening. You’ll go with me right?”

“If you want me to.” Tihana smiles.

Aiden watched her closely, she seems to be calm right now like she haven’t heard about anything that had been her stressed some hours ago.

She was usually calm about it.

“Do you wanna talk about your new family?”

“I’m glad to hear the ‘US’. What is it you wanna talk about?”

“Our marriage will be over, perhaps in four months time? The contract says I’ve to stay two months more after giving birth.”

“Well, there’s no more contract.” It was a surprise to Tihana but she had to pretend not to hear what he said.

“What do you mean? We haven’t terminated the contract.”

“Can we forget it? I don’t want you ruining the surprise. Just calm down and think only about me and our baby.”

It was sweet hearing him say the OUR. never had she expected him to say that word, so it was worth the wait to hear it. She smiles and look away.

“I need to pee” she told him and Aiden helped her stood up and slowly led her to the bathroom, but surely he wasn’t going to go in there with her. So he just stood outside.

Once Tihana was done peeing, she stayed still in the bathroom and stay at herself in the mirror. Blossom, the only thing she can think about.

The lady who had claimed that she snatched her boyfriend from her, turned out to be her younger sister. It made her feel so guilty, guilty if many things. She had wished that things were the same as it was Aiden back then.. she could have pleaded with him to please be with Blossom.

But how surprisedly it was to her that she’s head over heels with Aiden, and knowing that Aiden had changed from worse to better made everything worth the wait..

“Are you okay in there? Do you want me to come in?” It was until she heard Aiden’s voice that she took her eyes off the mirror and went to open the door.

“You don’t need to.”

“You sounded desperate on the phone. Is it Aiden? Don’t tell me he talked to you rudely again.”

“Trenton. I need a favour from you?” It was more like a question than just a statement.

“Yeah. Whatever it is ”

“Can we let Tihana and Aiden be? I think both if them are a perfect match and we both just don’t deserve them. Let’s let them be.”

Trenton was behold shock. The first time she had talked about giving up, he had given her every reason on why she shouldn’t back down now. Seeing her repeating the same thing, but right now addressing Aiden and Tihana as perfect match gave him every thought that she was done for better.

“I’m sorry I couldn’t do much to convince Aiden for you. But, about Tihana… I’m not sure I want to give up yet, Maybe there’s still chance for us. We both hadn’t talked that much since her pregnancy because I never got the chance.. but I know she’d want to be with me.”

“Tihana loves Aiden.”

“She doesn’t, and I’ll prove it to you. It’s okay for you to give up on Aiden, but don’t think I’m going to give up on Tihana too.”

“Trenton. Two years ago, you told me you loved me? Before Tihana came into the picture. Is that still the same?”

“Well Blossom…” Trenton stretch his neck as he didn’t know what to say.

He can’t believe Blossom still remembers his words. She was right, Before he meet Tihana again, he was actually in love with Blossom and even when Blossom had brutally rejected him. He didn’t give up.

But seeing Tihana again, he wasn’t sure if he still loves her or he was just blinded with jealously of the face that she was with the guy he hates.

“You still love me right, Trenton? Don’t tell me you are going to forsake me like everyone else.” There was tears already in her eyes, waiting for the right moment to pump out.

“It’s not like that Blossom. You , this came unexpected. You clearly told me Aiden is the one you want and I’m only a best friend slanch childhood friend to you. ”

“Well. I’m giving up on Aiden now.”

“Why? What happened? I’ll still try again for you?”

“No… Because I want to amend my ways, I want to get back with my sister.”

It was as if Trenton hadn’t heard her right. “Your sister?” He was staring at her with curiosity.

“Tihana, she’s my stepsister. Even tho I’m realizing this in the very last minute, I know there’s still chance for me to make things right. ”

Trenton looks at her like she lost her mind or something. “You’re joking.”

“I’m giving up on Aiden for her. I’d suggest you let them be too, I’ll understand if you know longer feel the same for me. But I won’t understand if you attempt to hurt either of them.”

Without waiting to hear his reply, Blossom stood up and walk out of his building.
