Breaking point

I refused to fall down on his feet

Another slash could be felt from the other side

I heard Aaron say in his pain filled crooked voice

I looked at him and his eyes held desperation

Desperation for holding me and keeping me safe

I passed him a genuine smile

I don't why I smile when every inch of my body is breaking and aching

Because I wanted to assure him that this pain was nothing

I stood my ground

The red eyed man grabbed my jaw in his hand and forced me to look at him breaking my eye contact

with Aaron

"I gave you a chance but I guess you want to die along with him....but don't worry i'll make it a quick

one "

His hand moved towards my neck and he started throttling it.

"K..ill ... me ......now.....but.....if you decide ...to .....let ...me live I promise .....you all will not be ......able

to see tomorrows daylight..."

I managed to say with angry eyes staring at his red one.

His red orbs were now burning with anger

He wanted me to plead , to beg him to let me live but what he got from me was a challenge and he

didn't like backing down from them.

I could feel my feet lifting from the ground

My hands were holding his grip and I was trying to pull it but my human strength was no match to his.

Slowly and slowly these few seconds felt like hours

My vision got hazy and my lungs were were losing their purpose

My grip on his hand loosened

My arms fell on my side and

My legs stopped struggling

Faint sounds could be heard but I couldn't identify them,my mind was not functioning due to the lack of

oxygen.

Just when I thought death will engulf me, his hand left my neck and I fell back on the ground.

Oxygen entered but it was followed by continuous coughs

Black substance covered my hands and everyone looked confused on seeing it

But no one paid much heed to it after the next words which he spoke

"This is no fun!! Why don't we make things interesting?

Guards go and grab those silver chains!!"

The guards bought the silver chains and they tied Aaron and Dan 's hands and legs making it

impossible for them to move or shift

Groans of pain could be heard from them

If only I could take away their pain and see their smiling faces again.

Next the Red eyed ordered a wolfsbane laden whip and made his way towards them

Jane stood there watching

I wanted to rip her head of for doing all this

She was the main culprit

Everything happened because of her

Feeling my stare on her

Her eyes met mine

Aaron gave everything to her and this is what she did

He made her his queen and she took away his kingdom

He gave her his trust and she kicked it like dust

He gave her friendship and she repaid it by betrayal.

"Jane you made me realise that what people say is right

How stupid ,foolish,naive was I to trust you"

I held myself up and confronted her

I just needed my answers from her

I just wanted to know what wrong Aaron did in these 20 years that she was ready to see a knife go

through his heart without feeling any emotion.

I just wanted to know , if her heart was really made of gold or it was just copper coated with goldwater.

"Why Jane !!what couldn't he give you??"

Emotionless face ,cold eyes stared at me

She came near me and replied

"How could he be mine Aleka??He always belonged to you !!I loved my mate and right now I am

standing by his side supporting him whereas he ..he was a fool to reject you!! He didn't even treated his

mate well and you expect me to believe that he would have treated me better!!!

No Aleka no he is not a human he is a bloody bas*** who treated his mate like shi* , he only cares for

one thing and that is his power and kingdom!!

I don't regret doing this because I know he deserves this!! He deserves to die the most painful death

and I am happy that my mate is doing justice by killing him!!"

I smiled no I laughed loudly

"You expect me to be true to my promise and keep it for lifetime when you broke yours within a few

Jane you may have known old Aleka but this new Aleka is not that good,

With this I grabbed the hidden knife from my pocket and placed it in her stomach.

Her eyes held mine for a few seconds but then her body went limp and fell on the ground

"Jaaaaane...!! Jane...!!"

The Red eyed wolf came running towards her and held her in his arms

"Baby ...please.....no noooo don't close your eyes ....!!..... "

His hands were coated in her blood and all his cocky attitude and arrogance was brought down to

pleading and sadness
