Choice

Aleka's pov

I reached the pack border,

there was a deadly silence over here and I feared that maybe I was too late.

I took a step further but I felt something wet my shoes.

What I saw made me freeze in my tracks.

There was a pool of blood on the ground but that was not it ,

I turned to my left to see something like hell

Dead bodies lying everywhere

Blood on every step

Children ,women,warriors all lying dead on the ground

Fear engulfed me

I continued to take small shaky steps further

In front of me was a circle of people

Warriors were standing near them with their swords daring them to move or do anything.

As I approached the circle everyone turned around to look at me

Their eyes held the fear of death unlike me

I am not afraid to die

I know it will come to me eventually

I am just afraid of something happening to him

The guards on seeing me grabbed me by my arms and took me inside the circle

Their swords touching my neck ,daring anything against them.

The emotion I feared the most was now getting on surface

My anger

Anger was what I felt when I saw

Dan lying on the floor in his own blood

His chest was moving up and down but his eyes were struggling to stay open.

On my right stood Emma with her eyes fixed on Dan

A guard was holding her from behind stopping her from struggling

And there near her leg was Angela

Body Trembling with fear

Eyes red from crying

Her eyes met mine and the one thing I saw in them was

Hope

Hope that i'll protect everyone like I protected her before

Raindrops started falling

In front of me stood the 2 backstabbers hugging each other

Behind them on the ground I saw something I feared the most

Something which broke my soul in so many pieces that my eyes got closed automatically unable to see

this

A thunder could be heard depicting the anger of my wolf

Aaron was there

Covered in so much blood that even an inch of his skin was not visible

The raindrops were washing away the blood but I also knew they would be hurting his wounds like

stinging needles.

His body was motionless

As if feeling my stare his head turned to look at me

Our eyes met and I was thanking moon goddess

Thanking her for keeping him alive

His baby blue eyes were portraying all his emotions

Pain,happiness,fear and that one thing which I yearned for each day of my life

My anger got intensified when I saw teardrops in his eyes

I have never seen him cry before but today seeing his like this

Broke me

I wanted him strong

Strongest of all

Fearless of all

I knew these tears were not his weakness but a depiction of his pain

And his pain burned my insides to kill these people who did this.

I wanted them all dead, but not a peaceful death but one which is merciless ,one which will make the

souls of bystanders shudder in fear.

"Well,well look who we have here!"

My eyes met red ones

He had a smirk on his face and it was like he was expecting my arrival

"The bullied rejected banished weak human who was my favourite pawn in my gameplan of

overthrowing the king!!

People all around were shocked

Gasps could be heard all around

They never knew I was his mate

They just knew that their kings mate was dead

They never knew that she was a omega in their own pack only

They never knew that the girl they degraded to the lowest ranks was actually meant to be the one at

the highest

But now they knew

Some had pity in their eyes others had regret

"Bring her here"

The guards pushed me forward till I reached the red eyed wolf

Jane stood next to him

Her eyes were shocked to see me

She didn't expected me to return

But again I wouldn't have returned if I hadn't known about her intentions.

"Aleka you call these people your pack?

They treated you like shi* but still you come here to die for them?

I give you a choice

Either you can join me and rule over them or you can die along with them!"

The red eyed wolf offered

The only thing my eyes were fixed on was Aaron

I never wanted to see him like this

He was staring at me with those pleading eyes

Asking me why I came back?

Why ,I came back to die when I could have lived happily?

But the thing was I could never be happy without him

I don't desire happiness, I only desire his well being .

I wanted to hurt these people so bad for hurting the only few people who meant the most to me in my

life

But hurting them was not that easy

I couldn't fight these many wolves all by myself

They will definitely kill me

But until my last breath I'll protect them

Joining this red wolf sounded funny

He didn't knew that my loyalty had no boundaries

My loyalty is one sided

It gives everything but never expects anything

I lived under the nametag of a murderer but I will surely try to die as a saviour.

I looked straight into his red eyes and replied

"No"

Next I know the red eyed wolf looked at the guard behind me and gave him some signal

I felt sword clashing my back making me stumble forward.
