Bethany covered her mouth, feeling extremely shocked.

"She's just a fool. Marry her and keep her at home. She won't get in your way." Zoe leaned down, gripping his chin while teasing him. "Things between us will stay the same as they always have."

Totally captivated by Zoe, Jason ignored the fact that he was still naked and stood up, pulling her into a passionate kiss.

Bethany shivered as she unexpectedly grasped the situation.

The only way to completely destroy Ryan's dreams was to make Carrie someone else's wife—someone from a prominent family like the Solloways, who even the Hoffmans had to respect.
