"Why is it early when it comes to my daughter?" grumbled Karen. "Since Rita isn't suitable, then you should at least consider Sadie. After all, she bears the Russell family name now. If she can marry Sherman, it will only benefit this family.

"Vince, has it slipped your mind that the family business has been laying off employees for three consecutive years, and our revenue has been declining year by year? You have to take this issue seriously. The glory of the Russell family mustn't end in our hands."

"No, that's not it. How was I supposed to know Grandpa had such progressive thoughts and would come out with such shocking remarks?" Sherman retorted.

His grandfather just grunted heavily in response.
