He had my toes curls inside my flats, while his hands possessively hold my neck keeping me steady as we were panting breathlessly to our kisses.

“Luka, stop sucking face with my sister. Let’s go, the big boss needs you to set up a secure line in his office.”

Nikolai managed to conjure himself out of nowhere. Well… maybe he wasn’t all that magical, maybe because I was too preoccupied with Luka.

“Sucking face? Seriously Nikolai what are you nine?” I spatted back at him while Luka calmly unlatched himself from me.

“I’m your brother and you will always be my yucky little sister. And I love you, so go to sleep. It’s late.” He retorted back at me raising an eyebrow, challenging me.

“It’s ten pm. brother dearest!” and obviously I was not backing down easily, while I could see from the corner of my eye that Luka was shaking his head at me smiling.

Seriously? Do you think this is cute Luka? Really?

But my desire was calling out for Luka to finish what he had just started. And obviously, Luka has always been work first, then whenever he had time to spare… Olga would be in the picture.

Luka kissed my cheek and slowly got up, but not before telling me that he would come to my room later.

“With or without you locking your door.” He said huskily and kissed me for maybe the tenth time that night making my toes curled.

“Luka. Dude, come on! I’m right here!” Nikolai finally yelled at him.

I smirked and finally get up and walked away from both of them. My head was already buzzing with anticipation.

I decided to call Megan while waiting for Luka. Hey… maybe she could give me some pep talk.

Pulling up my comforter and taking my phone with me, I was making myself cozy. I was about to call Megan when there was an incoming call from the disastrous black card man date that was ruined by Luka. I smiled and take his call.

“Hey, gorgeous.”

“Hi.”

“So last date didn’t turn out as expected.”

You think?

“No, it did not.”

“So, you want to try again?”

“Well, I’m kinda in a relationship right now.”

I think, hmmm… He said that I’m his and he’s mine. So what are we? Damn, I’ve never done this before.

“Wow… that was fast. Well, okay then. Just call me if you want to hang or date or yeah… anything. You’re cute.”

After a couple of awkward goodbyes later, we finally hang up.

“Hey Megan, babe why do you sound sleepy? It’s still ten.”

“Some people have to actually go to work tomorrow.”

“Awww Megs I’ve missed you too.”

“We’ve just met yesterday,” Megan muttered. I could already imagine her rolling her eyes at me.

“Yes, and I need a daily dose of you!”

“Okay I’m up… so, what did he say after he stood you up for lunch.”

Well, at least she sounded a bit curious. Meh… I’m taking what I can get.

“He said he was busy with Tweedledee and Tweedledum.”

“Woman, I think it’s about time you stop calling Max and Nikolai that.”

“Mm.. hmm… is it because you have the hots for my brother?” I said teasing her, I know she must be blushing already.

“Olga… don’t change the subject.”

“Megan, l love you, my sweet workaholic friend. And I’m giving you my blessing to be with Nikolai.” I giggled on the line, knowing that she must be in her deepest shade of tomato by now.

“Olga my wild child I’m dating the cowboy boots guy that we met last week.”

“Yeah, I know what you mean by dating. But girl maybe you need my brother, I know they can upset you and it’s not your fault that you’re fucking loaded.”

Megan my dear friend has been having issues with boys, they have been latching on to her for her money. She would give in to them to shut them off, then she would break up with them. Again.

“Well, maybe it’s our fault for securing your future financially. But I love you and daddy dearest loves me too much, so it’s a given. Besides, you’re an asset and he knows how to keep one close. You’re such a workaholic, I’m sure he’s actually saving money by hiring you….”

I was babbling until she cut me off. I know, she can be rude sometimes, right?

“Olga!”

“Hmm..? What?”

“What the fuck happened after the canceled lunch? Damn woman, you really need to stop conversing with yourself while talking to others.”

“I know right? It’s like I’m a werewolf. Like I’m talking to my inner wolf, maybe I’ve been reading on too many werewolf books…. oh… oh… have I told you that Ramon said that he knows one living in our city… shit! I know right? Think of….”

Okay… maybe I’m a bit self-absorbed, but Megan knew about that already so we’re cool. I think. Yeah no… I know so. She loves me too much.

I was about to give Megan’s awaited answer when another call came. I looked at the nerdy ass’ face and smiled.

“Megs, Luka is calling. I’ll talk to you later. No, we’ll meet up for lunch tomorrow okay?”

We hang up seconds later, then I was connected to my sexy nerd.

“Olga, baby… I can’t make it tonight. I got some errands that I have to do.” He said calmly from the other line.

I didn’t know why… but there was a pinch on my chest. It hurts. Why did it fucking hurt?

“Okay. I’m going to sleep now.”

“Olga…”

“Look it’s cool, you got more important stuff to handle. I’ll see you.” I said and hang up on him after he said another goodbye.

I got up from the bed and locked my door, I turned off the lights and hide under my big girl blankie. That night was the first night I cried myself to sleep after mother passed away.
