Chapter 1938
Living together, boys will sometimes come up with what look like pranks but are actually games that bring joy. Especially in a place like this military academy.
Lysander had grown up this way, so how could he not understand their bond? Lysander's lips twitched into a smile, "No worries, I get it."
Seeing his dad wasn't upset, Dorian's previously furrowed brow relaxed. He directed the three little guys, "Hurry, hurry, grab all the clothes and bring them into the dorm. I'm going to show them off to my dad one by one."NôvelDrama.Org exclusive content.
The trio obeyed, scampering to gather the clothes scattered on the ground and piling them onto Dorian's bed.
Pushing Lysander inside, Dorian gazed at the mountain of clothes on his bed, scratching his head sheepishly, "Heh, seems like it's a bit much." Lysander, usually so stoic, couldn't help but smirk at the sight, his deep voice tinged with amusement, "Why are they all green?"
"It's all military costumes," Dorian explained promptly, picking up a piece to show Lysander, "See, this one's for spring, and this one here is for winter..."
"Dorian, how about you perform one of your plays for dad?" chimed in Atticus, stepping in with a big brother's swagger and a teasing smile.
Dorian, ever so earnest, agreed. "Sure, Dad, I'll perform one for you. Just give me a sec to pick out a costume," Dorian said, grabbing a piece of clothing and dashing to the bathroom.
As soon as he left, Thalassa and the others arrived.
Seeing the heap of green clothes on Dorian's bed, Elowen laughed, "Dorian, still treating your costumes like treasures."
"Dorian loves acting," Sophia remarked.
Fitch, puffing and panting, arrived with a load of stuff too.
That's when Thalassa remembered she'd brought a bunch of things for the kids. Ever since she knew she was visiting this Saturday, Thalassa had been preparing, worried they might need something.
Thalassa quickly took a few bags from Fitch's hands.
Just then, Dorian came out of the bathroom, dressed in a simple military uniform, cap included, looking both dashing and spirited.
Unaware of the planned performance for Lysander, Thalassa rushed over, bags in hand, starting her familiar motherly nag, "Dorian, look what Mom got you."
།
Before finding a spot to set down the bags, she opened them to show Dorian, "Got you an action figure, some clothes for the season and your favorite candies."

In Thalassa's memory, Dorian always liked action figures and candies. Besides, she figured clothes were a necessity; getting some for the season couldn't be wrong.
Dorian's smile faltered for a moment, but then he happily took the bags from Thalassa, saying, "Thanks, Mom!"
"Mom, I've got a performance for you and Dad. Let's see if you like it," Dorian was all in on performing for his beloved parents.
Carrying the bags to find a spot, he saw the bed was already full, so he quickly turned around, opened his wardrobe, and stuffed all the bags inside.
Then, turning to Thalassa and Lysander, he said, "Ready? I'm starting now."
