The Billionaire’s Secret Quartet

Chapter 1937

Chapter 1937

Hearing Thalassa say this, Elowen's big, luminous eyes immediately locked onto Thalassa. Seeing the beautiful, fashionable, and vibrant figure standing before her, the tears in Elowen's eyes gradually faded.

Indeed, it was because of their father's sacrifice that they could have their lively mother with them today.

Without their dad, they would never have had the chance to meet their mom.

Dad had given up his ability to walk to save mom's life; he was a true hero!

Elowen had an epiphany, raising her hand to wipe away the tears at the corner of her eyes, and optimistically said to Thalassa, "Mom, you're right. We will always love both dad and mom!"

"Yeah, love dad!" Sophia nodded in agreement, echoing the sentiment.

After Thalassa's heartfelt words, she too had come to realize that it was indeed their dad who had saved their mom. Even though dad couldn't walk now, he would always be their hero.

"Dad, come on, let me show you our dorm. I've got lots of costumes for the drama club, and my roommates are always fighting over who gets to wear my outfits!" Dorian, coming to his senses, walked behind Lysander, pushing his wheelchair, his voice filled with cheer.

Atticus laughed as well, "Dad, don't be too shocked when you see Dorian's dorm. It's like a barnyard in there."

Lysander's gloomy mood was lifted by his children's optimistic shift, a smile spreading across his face. "Really? I've never seen a barnyard dorm before."

"Keep it a secret till we get there. You'll see," Atticus teased, playing coy.

"Aww, bro, don't spill the beans. Let dad have his grand illusions before he sees the real deal. That way, it'll be a surprise. If you spill now, there goes the surprise," Dorian, always the lively one, made the atmosphere around him buzz with energy.Còntens bel0ngs to Nô(v)elDr/a/ma.Org

Lysander just smiled, not saying a word.

Elowen and Sophia smiled at Thalassa, each taking one of her hands, and followed Atticus and Dorian's lead.

Fitch, carrying a load of stuff, trailed behind.

Lysander with tears in their eyes, Fitch's mood had plummeted to rock bottom. Even the children felt so deeply for Lysander, and he who had watched Lysander grow up, how could he not feel the same?

Normally, he always kept a smile, treating Lysander with the utmost respect as he always had, not letting his true feelings show. Seeing the children's heartfelt concern for Lysander, Fitch's fondness for him overflowed.

But soon, the children had brushed off their sorrow, Elowen swiftly pushing Lysander's wheelchair, and Lysander's spirits were lifted. Fitch, seeing his burgeoning tears recede, put on a smile and followed them.

Before long, they arrived at Dorian's dorm, and as he swung the door open, a cascade of green-themed clothes spilled out, nearly tumbling onto Lysander, who was at the forefront.

"Whoa!" Luckily, Dorian was quick to react. Seeing the clothes falling as the door opened, he quickly pushed the wheelchair back.

The clothes landed on the floor, previously hovering right above Lysander's feet. Had Dorian been a second slower, they would have hit Lysander.

"Dorian, you're back! We were just

doing a little experiment to see if your pile of clothes could reach higher than the door," said three heads peeking out from inside the room, all boys, grinning at Dorian.

Dorian immediately turned around, pretending to be angry, "You guys are too much. You almost hit my dad! Couldn't you have given me a heads up before doing your 'experiment'?"

The three boys noticed the adult behind Dorian. Though seated in a wheelchair, the aura of authority and dignity around him was intimidating. Scratching their heads sheepishly, they apologized, "Sorry, man. We didn't know you were bringing someone. We were just messing with Dorian."
