Chapter 1901
Thalassa, still buzzing with curiosity, declared, "Let me pour another cup and really savor it this time..."
With that, she filled her cup once more, brought it to her lips, and took a small sip, smacking her lips thoughtfully. She reflected for a moment and then said, puzzled, "It tastes the same as my first sip, I can't quite catch any flavor."
"Is that so? Come here, I'll show you how to truly appreciate it," Lysander's voice, low and enticing, beckoned Thalassa with a maic pull.
A bit clumsily, Thalassa, holding her cup, made her way over to him. "How should I drink it? Tell me," she said.
"Bend down a little, and I'll tell you..." Lysander's voice was a siren call, sultry and compelling.
Thalassa, as if enchanted, obediently leaned in closer to Lysander, her eyes wide with eagerness, waiting for him to teach her the art of tasting.Belongs to NôvelDrama.Org - All rights reserved.
Lysander took the cup from her hand and placed it on the coffee table.
"Hey, you... um..." Thalassa started to protest about her cup being taken away, but before she could finish her sentence, Lysander's hand was at the back of her neck, gently pulling her down.
Lysander's lips met hers unexpectedly, halting her breath in an instant.
The warm, dominating sensation felt like an electric current passing from her lips to her heart, leaving her body tingling and weak.
Initially caught off guard, Thalassa's eyes widened, but as she realized it was Lysander kissing her, her heart sweetened as if coated with honey, and a gentle smile curled at the edges of her lips.
Lysander, supporting her back with his hand, drew her soft body closer into his embrace, deepening the kiss.
He had intended only a light kiss, but upon tasting her sweet lips, he found himself wanting more, struggling to control his desire. Remembering they were in the living room, under the watchful eyes of the household staff, and considering his own physical limitations, he restrained himself. Once, he might have carried her upstairs without a second thought, but now, holding Thalassa in his arms was enough.

Their eyes locked, Thalassa lost in the warmth of his gaze, as if drowning in a spring of tenderness.
Her voice softened involuntarily, with a playful rebuke, "Taste what?"
"The flavor of the drink," Lysander replied.
Thalassa paused, then realized Lysander was asking if she had caught the flavor she had been seeking in that fine drink. But he had only kissed her, not shown her how to savor the drink at all.
She had tasted his essence, not the drink's.
Laughing, Thalassa said, "But you didn't give me any drink."
"I had just taken a sip; the flavor was still on my lips. Didn't you taste it?" Lysander countered, his eyes warm and indulgent.
Teasingly, Thalassa lightly tapped his arm, saying, "You're such a tease, Lysander. I never knew you were such a charmer."
