Chapter 1900

Georgia's cheek was slapped so hard it turned sideways. Instinctively, she covered half of her face, whipped around with tears filling her eyes, shaking with rage, and spat at Angelina, "You actually hit me! My parents never laid a finger on me my whole life, and you dare to hit me!"

She truly couldn't accept it. Not once had her parents ever raised their hands to her.All text © NôvelD(r)a'ma.Org.

Who did Angelina think she was, daring to slap her across the face!

Despite shaking with fury, teeth nearly clenched to breaking point, Georgia didn't dare fight back.

Angelina stood there, strong and unapproachable.

Georgia had always been wary of those too powerful.

Angelina, equally furious, glared back at Georgia and snapped, "I'm teaching you a lesson on behalf of your parents! Watch your mouth next time!"

"You're not qualified to teach me anything!" Georgia roared back.

Their argument in the back seat was so intense it made the driver jittery, causing the car to swerve slightly.

After her outburst, Georgia, tears streaming down her face, yelled at the driver, "Stop the car!"

Startled, the driver immediately hit the brakes, halting the vehicle in the middle of the road.

Georgia flung the car door open, not caring for the traffic behind her. A car speeding from behind nearly crashed into her due to her sudden move, but fortunately, the driver managed to slam on the brakes just in time.

Georgia slammed the car door and stormed off.

Angelina quickly rolled down the window, shouting after Georgia's retreating figure, "Georgia, you're abandoning your child!"

Georgia, marching forward and gasping for breath, shot back, "That's your child, not mine!"

Fuming, Georgia hailed a taxi in the middle of the road and quickly drove away.

Angelina, still seething, muttered, "She hasn't even become a Falconer yet and already acts so high and mighty. What will become of us if she does?" Then, sharply to the driver, she snapped, "Drive! What are you waiting for?"

The driver, trembling, quickly started the car and drove off.

Back at the Royal Estates, Lysander was enjoying a cup of tea when Thalassa returned. His deep gaze, shifted towards her, brightening visibly for a moment, and he said, "Thalassa, have some tea, then we're heading out." Content belongs

Thalassa paused, then catching his drift, replied, "You mean, we're going out again?"

"Mhm," Lysander uttered monosyllabically.

"Alright, I could use a drink,"

Thalassa agreed without objection,

walking over to pour herself a cup of

tea from the pot on the coffee table. She gulped it down in one go without a pause.

Fitch, taking the tea cup from Lysander, chuckled at Thalassa, "This is one of Lysander's prized teas, meant to be savored slowly to appreciate its flavor..."

Thalassa, having just finished her tea, holding the cup, looked

surprised, "Oh? Was it a fancy tea? I couldn't taste anything. I'm like a pig who ate a peach without savoring its flavor..."

Laughing at her own analogy, Thalassa grinned.

Lysander said, "Tea is just water, nothing fancy, as long as it quenches your thirst."

With that, he shot a reproachful glance at Fitch.

Fitch, catching the hint of rebuke from Lysander, quickly bowed his head and stepped back silently.
