I really wish I knew what was going on. The three of us were moved to a new location today. They
moved us into a cottage. The cottage has many security measures to make sure we don’t escape.
There are bars on all the windows and the front door. I have to admit that this is nice. When they told us
they were moving us, I was not surprised. When I saw where they were moving us to, I was surprised.
We are free to move around anywhere in the cottage. Damian looked for a way to get out, but as
predicted, the girls made that impossible. Not that I would expect anything less.
“I wonder why they moved us here,” I say.
“I don’t know, but it makes me very suspicious,” Damian admits.
“I wonder who’s idea this was?” I ask.
“I am sure the girls had something to do with this.” Ian comments
I have no doubt that the girls are behind this. But why? They obviously are not happy with us. I can
understand why. I can guarantee that none of the guys decided to move us to a place so nice.
Mykenzie and Kylani still have not been back to talk. We have heard that Silver Moon took over
Darrius’s pack. I would love to know the details of that. It takes some pretty intense shit to get the
council to strip an alpha of his title and hand a pack over to another. That, however, is not my problem.
I decided to sit on the couch and watch some tv. There is no use in worrying about shit that I can’t
change. Ian sits in a chair across from me.
“I have to admit this is nice. Beats being stuck in those cells.” Ian admits.
“Yeah, I prefer this to those cells,” I tell him.
Damian walks in, eating a huge sandwich. That was another thing the kitchen was fully stocked with
food. I hope they don’t think that we are going to cook. None of us can cook at all. If we try, I am sure
we will end up burning down this cottage.
“They have those great beasts laying outside making sure we stay put.” Damian comments.
“Again not surprised,” I say.
I might be a werebear, and I am large when I shift; however, there is no way I could take on one of
those beasts. I wouldn’t last a minute. That right there makes me think twice about escaping. I know
the other two have the same thoughts. Besides, even if we got past the beasts, we would not get past
Mykenzie and Kylani. They are far more dangerous than their beasts. I get up and head to the kitchen.
That damn sandwich of Damian’s looks good. Plus, he is making me hungry watching him eat. I look
through the fridge and find everything I need to make myself a sandwich. I rejoin the other two.
“So what now?” I ask.
“I don’t know. I am pissed at Asmoday.” Damian says.
“Maybe we should work with the girls?” Ian asks.
“I have been thinking about that,” Damian says.
Well, that’s not what I was expecting. I could tell this whole situation was not ideal. I could also tell he
was very conflicted with this idea. I could tell he was going back and forth in his mind. I had already
made up my mind. We might as well work them; we have nothing to lose at this point.
“We should talk to them. If they ever come back.” I say.
“Yeah, I think that would be a good idea,” Damian said.
I guess maybe he just made up his mind, or he gave in. I am not sure which one. Now we just wait for
them to come back so we can talk.
Kylani
We stood there for a few minutes before we decided to let the three of them know we were there. We
hadn’t been to see them in a while. We had the other girls keep an eye on them and let us know what
was seen and heard. Plus, Marcus and Jason had set up hidden microphones in the old cells so we
could record any conversation between the three. I knew just by the looks on their faces that they had
no idea that all the power had been turned over to us. Yeah, I still hate Uncle Zeus for that shit. We
didn’t want it and had no interest in it. We had made a deal with our three uncles that we would accept,
but they had to keep the seats for the show, and we were still going to let them act on our behalf. The
only thing they had to do was consult us on important shit. So far, the arrangement has worked
beautifully. Now, if we could get out of those damn boring family meetings. We kept watching the three
of them for a while longer. Mykenzie then asked if we should let them know we were there. I told her to
wait a tad longer. Let’s see what they say.
“So we are going to work with them then,” Ian asked.
“Yes, that is probably the only way. Besides we are out of options.” Damian admitted.
That brought a smile to my face. I guess keeping them locked up and isolated for a month had gotten
them thinking. That is the other reason we remodelled this cottage into a cell. No one can get out. We
figured that if we gave them somewhere nice to stay and showed that we were not brutal, we could get
a bit more information from them. We had gotten a lot from the recordings. What we were hoping for
was where Asmoday was, but it soon became apparent that they had no clue. They were not really
involved in that besides helping capture a few creatures every now and then.
“Hello, gentlemen,” I say.
All three turn, and there stands Mykenzie and me. We are not worried about them attacking us.
Besides, they know that they wouldn’t stand a chance.
“We know everything. The cell and this house have hidden microphones so everything that the three of
you have talked about has been recorded. So don’t even try to bullshit us.” Mykenzie explains.
I watched as all three of them let their shoulders drop in defeat. They knew there was no way to get out
of this.
“We will work with you two, but only you two. We won’t talk to anyone but you girls. We will not deal
with any of the guys.” Damian says.
“Ok, that is fine. I know that you three have never liked any of them and honestly they all feel the same
way about you.” I tell him.
“However, only five of us will be down here regularly. The two of us, Bryn, Daniylla, and Jailynn.” I tell
them.
“Ok, that is fine,” Ian replies.
“Mostly it will be Bryn, Daniylla, and Jailynn. We unfortunately have a bunch of other shit to deal with. I
am sure you heard about Darrius and his pack.” Mykenzie informs them.
“Yeah, we did,” Marshall says.
“So we have to help deal with all that. We will have the microphones disabled for now, but be warned if
we have any doubt about the three of you this deal is over and we will decide then what to do with you
three.” I tell them.
They tell us they understand. I am sure we have thoroughly scared them by now, and that was the
point. We want them scared and afraid of us. Besides, they know we are not lying and that this isn’t a
threat. This is a promise. We also let them know that the animals will also be around their cottage.
“We kinda figured they would be.” Ian retorts.
I smile at this. They know how we work. I think they finally got a very hard reality check and realized if
they wanted to live that, they had no other option than to help us. I have no idea what shit Asmoday
told them all those years ago to get them to work with him. I have no doubt they are starting to regret it
big time now. As they say, karma will come back to bite you in the ass. All three of these bears had a
huge bite taken out of their asses. They dug their own grave now they get to lie in it.
