Blair’s POV

I have been sitting on my private jet for nearly an hour, waiting to take off. A plane had broken down on the way to the runway and we are waiting for it to be moved.

I knew I should have flown down last night. I could have woken my love up this morning and we could have been marked and mated before breakfast.

Just the thought of her lying naked under me, her long raven hair billowing out on my pillow, her alabaster skin soft against me, had my c**k standing to attention.

I shift in my seat and ease the pressure on my slacks. Goddess, she is beautiful, the most perfect woman I have ever met. As soon as I saw her, I knew she was mine. I was confused when she didn’t leap into my arms.

When I found out that she was my newly found cousin and that I would have to wait for nearly two months for her to come of age, both my wolf Titan and I felt completely shattered.

I had no idea how long I would be able to stay in Ravens Perch, which I have to say is beautiful and I am taking a lot of ideas to take back to Rising Moon.

They had both been overjoyed and couldn’t say enough about my gorgeous mate. They suggested that I talk to the triplet Alphas, Ashton in particular, as they knew her very well as she was Star’s best friend, and both Suzie and Max had helped them while they were waiting for Star to come of age. They had gotten even closer when Star was in a coma.

So that’s what I did. I spoke to the three of them and they fully accepted me into the family. They gave me a lot of inside information about my mate.

I had told them I was thinking of telling her, as I knew I would have to leave and head for home before her birthday. They said they would help anyway they could.

And then I f**k it all up.

FLASHBACK

It’s the day before Star and the triplets’ wedding, and I have decided I am going to tell Suzie today. I know I am creeping her out by staring at her.

I catch her scent on the wind and follow my nose. The smell of baked apple and raspberry mixed with the smell of the first snow fall on the highlands fills my nose and wraps around my heart.

I hear her sweet voice, but she sounds both angry and scared. The sound of a male voice shouting at her boils my b***d. Titan wants to rip him to pieces, but I manage to calm him so we can listen to what they are saying.

He had his hand clenched on her arm, “You are mine you little slut, your body and your life are mine to do with as I wish, and don’t you forget it.”

She slaps him hard and struggles to get out of his grip, “I f*****g hate you, the moment I turn 18 I am rejecting you evil a*s.” he punches her in the ribs and I loose my s**t.

Rushing over, I grab him by the throat, but as he releases her, she falls to the floor. Her safety is my priority, so I flung him at a tree. The sound of his body hitting a tree is satisfying.

I picked up my girl and ran to the hospital, but she screamed for me to stop, “I am fine Alpha, please put me down, you should not have done that.”

I placed her on her feet, but grabbed her hand, “what the hell was that about, what is he to you?” She glared at me. Her lips lifted in a sneer, “I don’t care who you are, Alpha, but my private life is none of your f*****g business.”

I look at her, my anger at the way that a*****e manhandled her, and her obvious disdain for me is bubbling to the top, “I am your f*****g mate, now who is he to you?”

She freezes, then turns her face to me, the look of anger and disgust on her face makes me take a step back. “What is it with f*****g men, is this a new fad you guys have got going. Tell a girl that she is your mate so you can f**k her, then when she turns 18, what laugh in her face for being such a naive i***t? Stay the f**k away from me, or I will make sure Star fry your a*s all the way back to Scotland, you d**k.”

She had ignored me for the rest of the day, and I didn’t get the chance to speak to her until the wedding reception. Watching her walk down the aisle was heart stopping, she has so much grace, and her beauty makes my breath catch.

After speaking to Star about it and her telling me to tread lightly with Suzie and to give her some space, Star didn’t tell me everything, but she did say that Suzie had been hurt and needed time to heal.

I had managed to get her on her own, told her that I was not trying to trick her, and that I didn’t expect anything from her until she turned 18, but she had told me that she had already given her virginity to someone claiming to be her mate, so she was soiled goods, so I should just reject her and get it over with.

Titan had pushed forward and shouted at her that her virginity should have been his. She had reared back and kneed me right in the balls, and I fell in love there and then, the way she stood up to my crazed Alpha wolf, showed me everything I needed to know, she is mine.

My plane is finally taking off. I text Star and tell her I am on my way. She texts back saying that Suzie loved my gift and is wearing them tonight.

If all goes well, by the end of tonight the diamond will be the only thing she is wearing.

An hour and a half later we are finally landing and I rush through the airport and into the waiting car, we have about an hours drive, I check my watch, s**t it’s going to be gone nine before I get there.

I tell the driver to put his foot down, once we leave the city, goddess I hope she is not upset. I sent a text to Star.

Blair: In the car, and we are driving like maniacs. Please tell her I am coming.

Star: Its fine cuz, she knows you will be late, be careful and get here in one piece please, the triplets, and the Danvers have been taking it in turns to swing her around the dance floor, so she is having the time of her life.

Thank f**k for that, I looked out the window and watched the hedgerows pass us by. After what feels like an eternity, we stopped at the gate. I threw my bag at the warrior, get someone to drop that at the house for me, will you?, and we drove straight to the training grounds.

Her scent hits me as soon as I step out of the car, Titan whines in my head, “it’s okay buddy, we will see her in a minute.” he lays down with his head on his paws, I know he is nervous, I am too.

I walk into that marque and my eyes search for her, she is being spun around by Lex on the dance floor, her head thrown back with laughter, and then she freezes. Lex looks up and grins at me while slowly turning her to face me.

Our eyes meet and my world explodes. I see her lips move as Ititan shouts “MATE”. She is still frozen in place, uncertainty in her eyes.

I open my arms to her and I see the relief as the tension leaves her body, and then she runs to me, throwing herself into my arms and burying her head in my neck.

“I’m sorry I am late baby, I wanted to be here to escort you to the party.” I press a k**s on her shoulder, sparks dance across my lips and she shivers.

Pulling back she cups my cheeks and smiles, “you are right on time my Alpha,” Titan growls in approval and I capture her lips with mine, sparks explode throughout my body, and I swear I see f*****g stars.

She gasps and I take the opportunity to slip my tongue into her mouth, f**k she tastes so f*****g good, I will never get enough of her.

We pull apart, both of us breathless. I tucked a stray strand of hair behind her ear, “you look gorgeous baby, like a princess from a fairy-tail.

I hold her at arms length so I can take all of her in. She blushes, “you look very handsome yourself.”

Star and their friend Max pulled us both in for a hug, “I am so happy for you both, you are so perfect for each other.” I grinned at my cousin and dropped a k**s on her head, “thanks Star, that means a lot.”

The rest of the night flies by. I was introduced to Suzie’s parents, Robert and Milly. Her dad did the whole ‘you hurt my daughter and I will fry your balls’ speech,

I could feel their happiness that their daughter had found her mate, but the sadness at knowing they were going to lose her rolled of them.

Star had already told me that the couple had lost two sons to rogue attacks, before Suzie was born, and they had tried for years to conceive Suzie, so I had already discussed them with the triplets.

I cleared my throat, “as you know, because I am an Aplha, Suzie will have to move to Scotland with me.” her mother let out a little whine, her father nodded and Suzie hid her head in my chest.

“I have spoken to your Alpha’s and Luna, and I would like to invite you to join our pack. I can’t stand by and watch you say goodbye to the only family you have left.”

Her father’s eyes filled with tears and Suzie pulled back, looking up at me, “You would do that for us?” I leaned down and kissed her soft plump lips, “I would do anything for you, my Luna.”

Her arms wrap themselves around my neck, and she whispers “thank you my Alpha, you have made me the happiest girl in the world.”

I lean in and whisper in my loves ear, “the woman with Aiden, is she one of the elementals we rescued?” Sh leans back and beams at me.

“Yes, they met for the first time tonight, the mate bond hit them right between the eyes. I am so glad for him, he gives off this tough man w***e vibe, but it’s all an act.”

Her eyes turned sad for a minute, I cupped her cheek, “Baby, please don’t think about what that a*****e did to you. He used our gift from the goddess against you, and I pray that she makes him suffer when he joins her, but it makes no difference to me. You have done nothing wrong, and I will spend my whole life worshiping you.”

Caressing the nape of my neck, she stands on tip toes and gives me a tender k**s, “You are perfect Blair, I can’t wait to start our life together.”

As the night draws to a close, everyone starts to depart until only a few of us remain. I looked at my girl, “Will you stay with me tonight? I don’t expect anything from you, but Titan and I need to be close to you.”

Her hands tangled in my hair, “I would love to stay with you, Blair, but I think that you and Titan have waited long enough, so I Suzie Hammond, accept you Blair Danvers, as my mate and Alpha. I am ready to be completely yours.”
