Jax Miller POV

I can’t believe how much of a f**k up my brother really is. I have lost everything, my pack, my money, my businesses and the f*****g elementals, and my brother is now in the f*****g wind, while I am stuck in this hovel, surviving on whatever I can catch.

My wolf, Trent, has also abandoned me. I can barely feel him anymore. He warned me not to go down this road, that my brother was as mad as our father, but I didn’t listen.

Well, I didn’t really have a choice. I may be the older brother, but Barton was always the stronger, his hunger for power and violence has always made me scared of what he is capable of.

After what he did to dad, I have not taken any chances, but now he has left me, gone to Greece to lie in wait for Thalia’s daughter, although after what I witnessed of her when they rescued the elementals from my pack, I really don’t want to mess with her.

She took down Demon and Ice so easily that I had no choice but to run before they found me. Their powers were completely useless against her, and now she has ten pissed off elemental she-wolves that I am sure are out for b***d.

I hope they find and kill my brother. They will be doing me a favor, but I need to make a plan. There is no way I can survive here for much longer.

All of my so-called friends have stopped returning my calls. In fact, the only response I have had was a threat to hand me over to the triplet pups if I showed my face.

For the first time in weeks, I felt Trent in my mind, “Its about f*****g time you made an appearance, I couldn’t even shift because you buried yourself so deep, do you have any idea how hard it is to catch food in human form?”

He snorts at me, “I was talking to mother and she has given me a chance for a new beginning. You will hand yourself in to the Queen of the elementals and tell them everything you know, and when you die, mother will give my soul to a new human. She knows what you and your disgusting brother did to me, poisoning me with wolfsbain, so I couldn’t stop you raping those poor women, and she will give me a new start.”

I stared at him in shock, “like hell I will, that would be suicide, you will toe the line, wolf, I am incharge and you will follow my orders.”

The assho;e actually laughs at me, “mother thought you would say that, so she has given me a boost. If you don’t hand yourself in, then I will take control and walk you in myself. You are a f*****g disgrace, you make me sick.”

I sneared at him, “you can’t do that, you will be killing yourself, they will kill us both.” He chuckles, “That’s the point dipshit, mother has a human in mind for me. She has promised me another twin, but this time, my wolf brother will be sane and a true brother to me. Now decide, are you handing yourself in or am I taking control? This is your last chance to do the right thing.”

“I will never give myself to them.” His laugh sends shivers through me as I feel him push forward, with a strength I have never felt from him before. He pushes me back, but not into oblivion. I can still see and hear everything.

“Sit back and relax, Alpha dipshit, you have a front row seat. It will be refreshing for you to see how a pack should be run.” I try with everything I have to take back control, but he is too strong.

Trent’s POV

With the a*****e contained, I shift into my true form and run through the forest towards the Ravens Perch Pack. Mother has said she will visit our queen in a dream and let her know what is going on.

While I have been in my mother’s garden, she has allowed me to see our queen and her gorgeous wolf. I will do everything in my power to keep them both safe.

The dipshit has information that can help them take down my disgusting brother and his sick human. Mother has promised I won’t remember this life, that when I am reborn with my next human soul, I will be given a complete blank slate.

I ran for two hours before taking a break. My i***t human has become malnourished over the last few weeks, so I need to hunt and replenish.

It doesn’t help that Jax managed to get so far away from Devon, we are in the lake district, but I know if I push myself I can get to the pack tomorrow morning.

I look up at the moon, and send a silent prayer to mother to give me the strength I need. A star shoots across the sky and I bow my head in thanks, before continuing my journey.

I do find it difficult to betray my human, I have been with him for a long time, watched, as he was mistreated by his father and then his brother, but we are Alphas and instead of standing strong and letting me help him, he allowed me to be drugged and subdude.

I was forced to watch as they wiped out packs and kidnaped precious she-wolves, and raped them over and over again, I am happy that they are now safe and being cared for.

I ran through the night, and as the first rays of dawn lit up the sky, I stopped at a lake and took a drink and sniffed the air. I am close to the border of the Ravens Perch, it was time to find some clothes and return to my human form.Original content from NôvelDrama.Org.

I make my way to the outskirts of a human town and find a small cottage. I leap the fence and listen to see if there are any sounds coming from inside the house, but all I hear are soft snores.

I sniff and head to a garage on the side of the cottage. The door has been left open and I saw a basket of laundry on the side waiting to be washed.

Grabbing some clothes that I hope will fit, I head back to the forest to shift and dress. I don’t have any shoes, but I managed to get some socks, so they should provide some protection.

Keeping to the side of the road, so I can hide in the trees if I need to, I make the last part of my journey to the pack. This part of the country is really beautiful. I am glad the last part of my life will be here, there is so much peace around me.

I sense I am being watched, the scent of wolves surrounds me, and as I get to the border I hear growls all around me.

I knelt and placed my hands behind my head. I really hope mother managed to contact my queen in time.

I called out, my voice sounded strong in my ears, “I AM THE WOLF OF FORMER ALPHA JAX MILLER, I HAVE BROUGHT HIM TO YOU FOR QUESTIONING. PLEASE CONTACT YOUR LUNA, I HAVE TO SEE HER.”

Two wolves approached me in human form, and I felt atleast ten shifted wolves surround me. One of the warriors in human form stepped closer.

“Why would we ever let you anywhere near our Luna? You will be dealt with as a treater, and taken to the cells, but first you owe us some skin.”

The wolves around me howled and moved closer, while the two, in human form, pulled batons from their waist holsters, raising them to strike me.

I cower and wait for the pain to come, but before they can strike I hear a voice screaming for them to stop, I look up and an angel is racing towards us.

“STOP, I AM EXPECTING HIM. MILLERS WOLF IS INNOCENT. DO NOT TOUCH HIM.”

Behind the angel, three massive men follow, and I know they are the triplet Alphas. I bow my head to them, baring my neck. She steps up to the two warriors.

“Olly, Aiden, it’s okay, I was told in a dream that Jax Miller’s wolf, Trent, was going to take control and bring Jax to us. He is holding Jax prisoner inside his mind and he will release him to our custody, but first I need to talk to Trent.”

The angel walks to me and tilts my head so I am staring into her beautiful green eyes, “Hello Trent, places follow me. I am afraid we will have to take you to our prison, for the safety of our pack and the women that your human kidnapped, but we will get you some food and something to drink, and we can have a chat before you leave us, okay?”

Bowing to her, “you are very kind my queen, and I would have it no other way, my human needs to be held and interrogated, there is much he can tell you.”

The two warriors pull me to my feet and we follow the four pack leaders to a building and I am placed in a cell. The angel looked at me, “rest, I will send food and water for you, I need to talk to my mates for a moment and we will be back.”

They turned and left me. I sat on the cot and took a deep breath, before closing my eyes, “Thank you mother.”
