TAMING THE BEAST IN HIM ( His Red Phoenix )

Phoenix rolled over on the bed, expecting to bump into Axion’s firm chest. With her eyes still closed, she reached out and felt the empty bed space. Not feeling anyone, she frowned and snapped her eyes open. Axion wasn’t in bed and that made her spring up.

Where did he go?

” Axion ” She called, climbing down the bed. She covered her naked self with the duvet and strode to the bathroom with sleepy eyes. A gasp left her lips and the sleep in her eyes cleared out the instant her eyes landed on the shattered bathroom mirror.

Her eyes widened in horror when she saw the drops of thick blood everywhere. Her heart skipped and she ran out of the bathroom.

” Axion ” She called for him. Thinking something bad must have happened to him, she grabbed one of Axion’s shirts and hurriedly put it on, dashing out of the room.

” Axion! ” She exclaimed, not knowing where to begin looking for him. She knows nowhere around the cottage, talk more of the island so where will she begin looking for him?

Running back inside, she took her phone, and with shaking hands and eyes filled up with tears, she dialed his number. Her fear only increased when it turned out Axion’s phone was lying on the table.

Was he playing a prank on her?

” Axion!! ” She yelled in frustration and started crying. She could have asked his men, but how will she do that when it turned out they were all lying on the floor, their heads torn apart from their bodies and blood all over. She couldn’t help but believe that a wild animal must have attacked.

While she was still crying, a hand out of nowhere grabbed her wrist and tugged her to itself. Thinking it was Axion, she looked up only to see the last person she expected to see on the island.

” What are you doing here, Corbin? ” She questioned, shocked. Corbin’s lips parted as he gazed down at her slightly exposed laps before looking up at her firm breast which the shirt she was putting on didn’t do a good job of covering. He gulped down nothing. He couldn’t deny that she still has an effect on him despite not seeing her for weeks.

” What did you do to Axion? Where did you take him to?! ” Phoenix fired, snapping him out.

” Huh? ”

” Where is Axion?! ” Phoenix fired angrily.

” Calm down, Phoenix…

” Don’t you dare tell me to calm down. Tell me where you’ve taken Axion to or I’d end you right this minute! ” She cut him off, grabbing him by the collar. Corbin held her hand, trying to push it off but her grip was tight.

” Listen to me Phoenix. I didn’t do anything to Axion. That question of yours should be shifted to someone…

Phoenix landed a hard slap across his face, shutting him up.

” Liar! ” She backed at him.

” If you didn’t do anything to him then why are you here? How did you find out we were here if you weren’t stalking us! ”Belongs © to NôvelDrama.Org.

” Yes, I was stalking you two! ” Corbin fired back.

” But it wasn’t because of Axion. I was here for someone else ”

” There’s no other person here apart from Axion and I so who the fuck are you talking…

” The King of all Dark Genie is here ” Corbin trailed her off and Phoenix’s eyes almost popped out of their socket.

” What?! ”

” He is the one stalking you two and I’m only here for him ”

” He came here in a human form to face Axion. I knew he was up to something and I came here to warn Axion about him but I guess I was too late ”

” He has transformed Axion into a vicious beast and if only you would give me a chance, I could track Axion down using my Genie sixth sense and stop him from doing something stupid…

Phoenix and Corbin can be seen wandering in a bush, looking for Axion. Corbin has sensed him to be somewhere in the bush but couldn’t dictate where in particular.

Phoenix on the other hand was trying hard to hold back the tears which had flooded her eyes. She was more than shocked when Corbin told her about Axion transforming into a beast and the King of all Dark Genie being on the island.

How could that devil do such a thing to her Axion? What does he want and why won’t he just leave them alone? And of all time and place, why now and why on this isolated island? Where will she start looking for Axion? How and what is he doing now?

Just when she thought the both of them could enjoy some quality time to themselves, their special night together got ruined by that animal.

All these were playing in her mind when she started hearing whimpering. It was that of someone crying and it was coming from behind her. She had parted ways with Corbin who went the other way.

Following the whimpers, her eyes widened at who she saw.

There under the tree was Axion in his beast form, crying and hiding his face. His body and hands were stained with blood, probably the blood of all the men he had ripped apart while wanting to run and stay away from Phoenix.

Happiness ran down Phoenix and her tears multiplied.

” Axion ” Hearing her voice, Axion’s beasty ears twitched and he immediately looked up. Seeing who was standing before him, his teary, vicious eyes beamed and a snarl left his lips.

He was happy to see her but at the same time… how did she find him? What is she doing here?

Waves of embarrassment went down him and he looked down. He never want her to find him nor see him in this state as an ugly, vicious, and terrifying beast. He was so ashamed that his anger flared up in a spec and he growled at her.

Phoenix didn’t mind his growls and slowly walked up to him. Axion frowned in anger and roared at her to stay away but Phoenix didn’t care. In fact, what she did next shocked Axion.

” Love ” She immediately hugged him tightly. Axion froze in shock as her warm body pressed against his hairy and frigid chest. His eyes grew soft and in a matter of seconds, his anger vanished.
