TAMING THE BEAST IN HIM ( His Red Phoenix )

Night came and Axion and Phoenix we’re busy taking a bath together. They were both in the bathtub with Phoenix backing Axion. It was a quiet atmosphere as Axion scrubbed Phoenix’s hair. Her eyes were closed as she enjoyed Axion’s hand doing wonders on her hair.

His hand was so soothing that she prayed he never stops. He was scrubbing her hair so calmly, so gently, and efficiently.

She was still enjoying that when she felt Axion’s hot breath on her neck and close to her ears as he placed a passionate kiss on her wet neck before trailing to her ear. She shuddered greatly as her body squirmed.

” Phoenix ” His husky voice made her whole body react greatly and a moan left her lips.

” Yes ”

” Promise me, that you won’t try what you did today ever again ” He whispered, and Phoenix bit on her lips to hold back the moan threatening to slip.

” When it comes to saving you, I’d do it a hundred times without looking back ” She replied softly.

” But I don’t want you to. I can’t bear losing you, the thought alone terrifies me ” What Axion made her blush.

” So promise me you won’t risk your life to save mine again,” Axion said as his hand ran up her smooth arms and cupped her breast, fondling it gently.

” Axion ” Phoenix moaned out his name, relaxing fully on him, her head thrown back.

” Promise me ” He placed deep kisses on her neck.

” I’m sorry but I can’t guarantee you that Axion. I’d willingly give up my life for you ” She mumbled and Axion stopped abruptly, letting out a slight grunt.

He turned her to face him, her hands placed on his shoulder and his on her waist.

” Why are you so stubborn, Phoenix? ” He groaned, obviously annoyed. Phoenix pouted, wrapping her hands on his neck.

” When it comes to you then yes, I am stubborn. As your Phoenix, I’m supposed to protect you with my life. I’d willingly do it a hundred million times for you because I love you ”

” Then what about me? What do you want me to do if something bad happens to you? What if you don’t ever come back? Are you aware that I almost died when I thought I lost you? ” Axion muttered, fear and pain visible in his eyes.

You don’t blame him, do you? He almost lost her today and is terrified of it happening again.

Phoenix couldn’t help but chuckle making Axion frown deeply.

” It’s not funny, Phoenix ” He groaned in frustration and that made Phoenix laugh even more. She just couldn’t help it. He looked so cute and hot whenever he was annoyed.

She leaned forward and brushed her lips on his sweetly. She made to pull out but Axion held her neck and nudged her back, claiming her lips in a deeper kiss.

The kiss was rough and demanding as Axion nibbled on her lower lip, sucking it hungrily. They both pulled out to catch their breath, gazing into each other’s eyes.

” I don’t want to lose you, Phoenix ” Axion nuzzled her neck while her fingers dig into his wet hair, massaging it.

” You won’t, I promise. I’d stand by you till forever ” Axion couldn’t help the tiny smile that drew up his lips. That was all he wanted to hear. He wanted her by his side till eternity.

” Promise? ” He mumbled, his eyes closed. He was enjoying the soothing feeling of Phoenix’s fingers massaging his hair. It was elite and amazing that he didn’t even realize he was groaning in pleasure.

” I promise ” Phoenix assured.

” Besides if I leave, who will I call Daddy? ” She added and yep, that made Axion’s heart flutter. If he says he missed hearing her call him that, then it is clearly an understatement. He fucking yearns and longs for it.

He opened his eyes, grinning at her.

” Daddy wants momma to stay by his side and never leave him ” Hearing him call her momma, Phoenix’s cheeks reddened immediately and she looked down, biting on her lower lip. The way the word sounded so seductive coming from him, awakened the butterflies in her stomach.

Soon, their bath was over and Axion after drying her with the towel, carried her to the wardrobe. He helped her dress up and dried her hair before carrying her to the bed and laid her carefully.

” Do you need anything? ” He asked and Phoenix nodded.

” What is it? ” He sat beside her.

” I want to sleep on you while you read me bedtime stories ” She pouted cutely and Axion couldn’t hold back his laughter. He was amused by her unusual request.

” Why bedtime stories? ” He demanded.

” I just feel like it. My mom always do that for me when I was a kid and I want to relive those moments with you. Besides, you have a library full of different books and I’ve been reading quite a lot of them ”

” Most of my books are rated. Are you sure you want me to read them out to you? ” Axion raised a brow at her and she nodded firmly. She was stubborn and adamant and that made Axion chuckle.

” Ok. I’ll be right back ” He smiled and left.

A few minutes he was back with three books in his hand. He settled on the bed and carried her, making her sit on his lap, her legs fastened around his waist and hands on his neck.

” Make a choice ” He waved the three books at her.

” Anyone ” She pouted and Axion hummed. Picking randomly,

” Are you ready? ” He asked and Phoenix nodded. She rested her head on his shoulder, her breath hitting his neck as Axion began reading out the story to her.

She will always giggle and chuckle like a child every now and then while drawing invisible circles on Axion’s chest while he played with her hair. Well, not until it got to the scary part of the book. She clutched tightly to Axion like he was her life as she shivered in fear.

” But surprisingly, only the younger sister came back after being gone for 6 days. Unlike someone who has spent six days in the coast with no food or water, she looked healthy and fat which was kind of shocking. ” I don’t like this story, I’m scared ” She nodded in disapproval, pouting sadly and Axion was surprised to see the tears at the brim If her eyes. Shit! She was really frightened. He almost forgot she hates anything spooky.

” Ok, I’m sorry. I read another one for you. Don’t cry ok? ” Axion places the book aside.

” How about… I am Frankenstein? ” He asked and Phoenix beamed.

” I love Frankenstein monster! ” She giggled happily and rested her head back on his chest while Axion couldn’t help but laugh at her cuteness. He patted her hair whilst reading the book out to her.

Soon she was already asleep, snoring peacefully. Seeing she was asleep, Axion quietly closed the book and laid her on the bed, covering her with the duvet.

Staring at her for a long time, a happy chuckle left his lips. She was extremely cute and beautiful but also a baby. He can’t believe she made him read her a bedtime story, something he has never imagined doing. And surprisingly, he enjoyed it.

He will do anything to make her happy because she is his happiness.

” I love you ” He mumbled and placed a deep kiss on her forehead. He stood up and quietly left. He needed to round off some stuff in his office before he would join her in bed.

SOMEWHERE UNKNOWN

A figure can be seen jabbing the punching bag in front of it fiercely. It was a masculine figure as one could see his sweats drip down his ripped and bare chest, his muscles flexing perfectly.

His eyes were burning in rage and resentment as he threw angry punches at the punching bag, scowling at it like it was the cause of his problem. One could see the bandage around his forehead which had a little stain of blood on it.

His face couldn’t be discerned but then there was something really familiar about him. Something that one could recognize him with even without seeing his face.

It was none other than… his familiar blue hair which fell freely and dangled dangerously on his face…
