Sweet Mischief’s Rollercoaster Romance

Chapter 982

"Whose adorable little kid is this?" a student in the front row asked, intrigued by the cute chubby figure toddling around.

Henry waddled his way straight to his mom, hiding behind Mia and looking up with his round little face, his baby voice chiming, "Mommy~" Mia was just chatting with Jamie Denny about dinner plans when she heard that sweet voice. She spun around, surprised, "Henry?" She was stunned, almost couldn't believe her eyes-her son had come to pick her up from school!

Henry gleefully lunged at Mia's legs, "Mom-mmm."

Bending down, Mia expertly scooped up her little bundle and placed him on her desk. "How did you get here? Who brought you?"

Henry snuggled into Mia's arms, his mouth open wide as he enthusiastically nibbled her cheek.Material © of NôvelDrama.Org.

Henry's sudden appearance quickly drew the attention of the classmates who were getting ready to leave. A curious crowd gathered around, "Oh my gosh, he's so cute! Look at those chubby cheeks. Makes you just want to pinch them."

Jamie, momentarily distracted from her "broken heart," was just as enchanted by the little cutie in the classroom. Pointing at the little guy standing on Mia's desk, Jamie asked, "Mia, is this your little brother? He's so adorable! Can I hold him? And why is he calling you mom?"

The classmates were whispering among themselves, "Maybe he's just too young and can only say 'mommy' and 'daddy."

Just then, Mia's real brother made his entrance. "Hey sis, have you packed up your stuff?" Cooper called from the door, tall and cool in his black outfit.

"Wow, he's so handsome," someone whispered, unable to keep it in.

Mia pointed to the door. "That's my brother. And this little guy here," she looked down at her son and said, "say 'mommy"."

"Mommy-" came the sweet reply.

Mia bent down and gave her son a kiss on the forehead, "Yes, he's my son."

Jamie and Denny's eyes were wide with shock.

"You-you have a child?!" With graduation right around the corner, this news was a shocker for everyone.

Henry continued to call out "mommy" in his soft, sweet voice, with Mia responding every time.

"Wait, all those times you mentioned your son, you weren't talking about a pet dog? You actually have a son?!" Everyone was floored.

Mia, often on the phone in the elevator, would say things like, "Hey honey, time for our son to eat. Don't let him nap too long, or he'll be up all night being a noisy little monster, keeping everyone awake."

Frequent conversations like that made some classmates assume Mia's "son" was a pet dog. Time to eat = feeding the dog, noisy at night = barking nonstop, keeping everyone awake = neighbors might complain. Everyone just assumed Mia was a pet lover.

Then out of the blue, here was Henry, her real son!

Mia held her little bundle up, saying, "Say hi to all the big brothers and sisters."

Henry shyly buried his face in his mom's embrace, tugging at her hair.

As everyone was still processing, a distinguished guest appeared in the doorway, standing beside Cooper and asked, "What's going on?"

"My nephew's too cute, everyone's just checking him out," Cooper replied.

Andre chimed in, "Henry, don't make your mom carry you. Why don't you try walking a bit?"

Mia: "!!"

If her son's appearance was proof enough of her being married with a child, then her husband's arrival confirmed that not only was she married, but she was married to Andre, and their son was none other than Andre's son! Andre made his way through the crowd, gazing at the little one clinging to his mom.

The couple exchanged looks, and Mia could feel her heart pounding, knowing she was about to be the center of attention.

The classroom went silent, like a hush had fallen over everyone.

The atmosphere was so intense that even the thought of taking out a phone to capture the moment seemed overwhelming.

Seeing Andre, everyone held their breath; even the calmest student stopped in their tracks, stunned by the man standing before them.

"Beep beep-" Henry, right on cue, gave his dad a little confirmation.

Andre moved to pick up his son, but Henry clung to his mom.

Andre relented, asking Mia, "Got everything packed up?"

Mia shook her head, "Honey, what's brought you here?"

The crowd collectively gasped.

"To pick you up."

Mia stepped aside, "Help me pack, will you?"

The crowd: "..."

Andre turned back, calling Cooper, "Hey, grab the box from my car's trunk for your sister's things."

Cooper: "Sure thing, bro."

As Andre took Mia's spot, Jamie stepped back, a bit intimidated.

Since she sat next to Mia, Andre standing there put him right next to Jamie.

Noticing her unease, Mia placed Henry on the desk to stand and reached out a hand, "Honey, let introduce you. This is Jamie, and the guy behind her is Denny, who often helps me and Ying with our studies. He's one of our top students."

Andre nodded at Jamie, his authoritative presence naturally commanding respect.

Jamie was too nervous to speak, but as Andre turned, he offered his hand, "Hello, I've heard a lot about how

much you both help Mia. I'm her husband, Andre."

Denny, though nervous, managed to shake Andre's hand, "Hi Andre. I-uh, didn't know Mia was Mrs. Cedillo."

"She likes to have fun. Bringing

family into it makes it less enjoyable for her so she kept it private," Andre explained, his gaze full of affection for his wife.

Mia hugged her little chubby boy.

A while later, Cooper returned, "Is this cardboard box okay, brother-in-law?"

"Yeah, bought it just for your sister."

Andre sorted through Mia's books while she held Henry, who was busy gnawing on her little cat water bottle and fiddling with her pencil case zipper. Cooper helped his sister pack, "Don't toss these lesson plans, bro-in-law. She might need them if she doesn't get in this year."

Mia aimed a playful kick at her brother, "Who are you jinxing?"

Cooper dodged deftly, "Violence."

With everything packed into one box, Mia said, "Honey, you and Cooper can head out. I have a dinner party tonight."

Andre glanced at their clingy son, "And what about him?"

Henry wrapped his tiny arms around Mia's neck, burying his face in her shoulder.

"It's just a get-together, I'll take him with me, don't worry."

Cooper carried the box, and Andre went to pick up his son, "Henry, Daddy's heading home."

The little bundle waved sleepily, saying goodbye to his dad.
