Chapter 27: Some Things That Don't Have to Be Done at Home

After Yusef almost finishes cleaning up the wound, he looks up and throws the cotton swab into the

trash can, "Why are you staring at me?"

Macy regains her consciousness but fails to answer this question. Biting her lip, she chooses to keep

Yusef says jokingly, "The man you just saw is Rayburn Fackler, our vice president. He said you were
