“What time did you come back last night?” Elena asked following in her husband’s footsteps.

“I don’t know. I didn’t look at the time,” Jayden replied wearing his black suit making his appearance even more charming.

“I’ll prepare breakfast.” Although her consciousness has not fully returned, Elena tries to be a good wife.

“No need.” But Jayden’s refusal made Elena turn around with a confused face.

“Why?”

“I have an important meeting this morning. If I have breakfast I might be late,” Jayden replied.

“But, Jay—”

“I gonna go!”

Even Elena’s words were cut off just like that. But the short kiss that Jayden gave her on the forehead made Elena not too disappointed. Ah, her husband has been really busy lately. Elena got a little worried. Jayden’s sleeping and eating schedule is a mess and she has to pay extra attention to keep her husband from getting sick.

If only they weren’t planning to have children maybe Elena wouldn’t be this angry. “I’m waiting for you.” Elena stared at him with a look that was difficult to decipher.

“No need to wait for me, honey. You just rest,” Jayden said, waking his head then closing his eyes slowly.

Elena gritted her teeth seeing Jayden who didn’t even look at her so without thinking the woman sat on Jayden’s lap.

“Jeez, Elena!” Jayden was taken aback, looked confusedly at Elena who was now above him. “What are you doing?” he asked.
